HBO's program "Angry Boys" just another in a long line of programs from the Sewer Stream Media Western audiences that disgusting, perverse and unatural behavior is perfectly normal.
I wonder who the producers and writers really made this show for.

Cult comedy Angry Boys aims to shock viewers with its mockumentary style humor, but one group thinks the HBO hit has gone too far and accuses a recent episode of being "akin to showing child pornography."
The most offensive scene depicts a young girl sucking on a bright pink penis-shaped cup during a sketch about a Japanese mother (played by Australian star and director Chris Lilley) who forces her skateboarding son to act gay as a marketing tactic.
"It's difficult to imagine that HBO would go any lower,” Dan Gainor of the Culture and Media Institute tells

"Veep," a half-hour comedy premiering Sunday on HBO, is a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the office politics driving the Beltway. The series, created by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Armando Iannucci ("In the Loop"), follows fictional female vice president Selina Meyer, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine Benes in "Seinfeld"), and her staff as they navigate the day-to-day drama befalling the nation's second-in-command. The ensemble cast ably embraces the demands of Iannucci's repartee and each actor gets a chance to shine.
Viewers may recognize Tony Hale from his role as Buster Bluth in "Arrested Development," and some of Buster's neurotic tendencies are apparent in Hale’s portrayal of the vice president's body man, Gary Walsh. We spoke to Hale about his creative process, the similarities between Buster and Gary and the political necessity of Purell.By Leslie Hart / current.com

"Veep," stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Selina Meyer, America’s first female Vice President in a comedy that, judging by the trailer, pulls no punches in conveying the sometimes crass, often chaotic theatre of the absurd that is American politics.

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) was so amused by the idea of picking former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his vice presidential nominee in 2008 that he suggested on Wednesday that former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney should do the same in 2012.
In an interview on CBS News, co-host Erica Hill asked McCain for his thoughts on Romney’s possible VP pick.
“Sarah Palin has said that she thinks the nominee, if it is in fact Mitt Romney, should — quote — ‘go rogue,’” Hill noted. “What’s your advice?”
“I think it should be Sarah Palin,” McCain replied, laughing.
“Do you really?” co-host Charlie Rose wondered.
“I think we have some very qualified candidates,” McCain said. “Obviously, [Florida Sen.] Marco Rubio is in the top tier. [New Jersey Gov.] Chris Christie, there are a number of candidates we have out there. [Louisiana Gov.] Bobby Jendal, [Indiana Gov.] Mitch Daniels. We have a wealth of talent out there, and I’m sure that Mitt will make the right choice.”
The failed GOP nominee added: “Obviously, it’s a tough decision.”
Last month, McCain defended Palin after the HBO movie “Game Change” implied that she was an unqualified candidate who was picked because she was a woman.
“I thought she was the best qualified person,” the Arizona senator told Fox News host Chris Wallace.
“What I don’t understand, even in the tough world of politics, why there continues to be such assaults on a good and decent person, Sarah Palin, a fine family person, a person whose nomination energized our campaign,” he said. “We were in the lead and they continue to attack and disparage her character and her person.”
For her part, Palin told Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday that Romney should “go rogue” and pick tea party Rep. Allen West (R-FL).
“Top of my list is Allen West,” she explained. “I love that he has that military experience. He is a public servant willing to serve for the right reasons. He understands the Constitution. He understands our national foreign policy issues that must be addressed. He has served. I really like him.”

Former Republican presidential nominee John McCain is still adamant that no one was more qualified than Sarah Palin to be vice president in 2008.
Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday asked the Arizona senator to respond to HBO’s movie “Game Change,” which implies that he only selected Palin because she was a woman.
“I thought she was the best qualified person,” McCain insisted. “I thought she had the ability to excite our party, and the kind of person that I wanted to see succeed in the political arena. She was a very effective and successful governor [of Alaska]. Again, I look forward and not back.”
“What I don’t understand, even in the tough world of politics, why there continues to be such assaults on a good and decent person, Sarah Palin, a fine family person, a person whose nomination energized our campaign,” he said. “We were in the lead and they continue to attack and disparage her character and her person.”
But it was the way he was portrayed by actor Ed Harris that seemed to most get under McCain’s skin.
“I’m portrayed as using an exceeding amount of coarse language,” the failed nominee explained. “I don’t use course language very often. I have a larger vocabulary than that.”
“I was going to say that in the movie — which I watched part of — you swear like a sailor,” Wallace noted. “But I guess that would be unfair to sailors.”

Failed Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin says that she has created more jobs for impersonators than President Barack Obama has created in total during his entire presidency.
Fox News host Chris Wallace on Sunday asked Palin how she rated Julianne Moore’s impersonation of her in HBO’s upcoming film “Game Change.”
“I think we’re going to call that The Sarah Palin Employment Act,” Palin declared. “And you guys need to thank me for employing more people probably in their imitations of Sarah Palin than the president has put Americans to work.”
“So it’s a stimulus act?” Wallace asked.
“It is a stimulus act!” the half-term Alaska governor agreed. “Goodness gracious. I’m really not too concerned, though, about an HBO movie based on a false narrative when there are so many other things that we need to be concerned about.”
“The movie echoes the book in pursuing this narrative that you went into a funk during the campaign leading up especially to the debate,” Wallace noted.
“I’m sorry that millions of people are going to waste their time,” Palin quipped. “I was never in a funk. Thank God I have the right perspective on what really matters in life, Chris. And there’s no need to ever be in a funk when we know what right priorities are and what really matters in this life.”
“I am ambivalent about it. And I, honestly, will not waste my time watching it, and I encourage others to find something else more productive to do.”
Former Republican vice presidential candidate John McCain, who is played by Ed Harris, said earlier this month that he would also refuse to watch the movie.

HBO has picked up the boxing drama that is loosely based on Mike Tyson‘s early life. British actor John Boyega, star of the hit film ‘Attack The Block,’ has been cast in the lead role of Spike Lee‘s ‘Da Brick.’
The Hollywood Reporter stated that Boyega will play Donnie, who, after his release from juvenlie detention on his 18th birthday begins an exploration of what it means to be a man for himself and those around him.
Milauna Jemai (NCIS) will play Lynette, Donnie’s mother, with him he reconnects with following a 14-month separation.
Julito McCullum (The Wire) will play Kevin, Donnie’s best friend and the one person he can’t leave behind, no matter how much he may want to.
Kamahl “Naiqui” Palmer (Gossip Girl) is set as Malik, the moral center of Donnie’s tight group of friends who is looking for direction between his middle-class upbringing and the harder realities of his environment.
Da Brick is described as a contemporary exploration of what it means to be a young, black man in a supposedly post-racial America.

Michael Showers played Capt. John Guidry on the acclaimed HBO series, "Treme."
STORY HIGHLIGHTS
His body is found floating in the Mississippi River in New Orleans
Police recover it and hand it over to the coroner
HBO's acclaimed 'Treme' is by the creator of 'The Wire'
.
(CNN) -- Actor Michael Showers, who made several appearances in the HBO series "Treme," was found dead Wednesday in Louisiana, a Port of New Orleans official told CNN Thursday.
His body was spotted floating in the Mississippi River near St. Louis Street in New Orleans, said Chris Bonura, communications director for the port.
Harbor police responded and retrieved the body, he said. It has been handed over to the coroner for investigation, he added.
The coroner's office did not immediately respond to CNN questions about the incident.
Showers played Capt. John Guidry on the acclaimed HBO series, which was created by David Simon following his cult classic "The Wire."
Simon hailed him as "a fine actor who contributed his talents to our drama in the warmest and most professional way.
"We enjoyed his work -- and working with him. Going forward, we're going to miss having him as part of our production. All of which seems of little import in light of the loss of a man's whole life, and what that loss truly means to him, his family, his friends. Our respect and condolences go to them, especially," Simon said in a statement on behalf of the show.
HBO is owned by Time Warner, the parent company of CNN.
