Despite the Arab League observers’ report verifying the threat that the Free Syrian Army (or the “Free Army” (FA) as critics prefer to call it in reference to the fact that many of the organisation’s members are of non-Syrian origin) the European Union responded to the clearly defensive military operation by threatening further sanctions against the Syrian people. Predictably, the NATO and GCC media, in perfect unison with the warmongering stance of their states, published unsubstantiated claims from unverifiable sources that the Syrian government was committing a massacre against Homs’ civilian population. Arab League observers in Syria Ahmed Manaï in Tunisian publication Nawaat where he stressed that the same media who accused the government of a massacre of 200 in Homs on February 4th (the day of the vote on the United Nations Security Council Resolution that if passed would have paved the way for military intervention in Syria) “were making fun of our intelligence”. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/recent-news/43059-how-russias-support-for-syria-is-qdefending-the-whole-world-from-fascismq-
video ----- Now we will see a service in which NATO propaganda (Al Jazeera) accuses the Syrian Army, of killing the Syrian child Sari Saoud. In the service, Al Jazeera shows the mother crying, while she embraces her child. Then you'll see the interview released by the very same woman, who reveals that the baby was not killed by the Army, but by the very same entities that the Army is fighting.Despite the Arab League observers’ report verifying the threat that the Free... more

Washington (CNN) -- By all accounts, it started innocently. An airport screener missed a bag.
But by the time it was over, authorities had shut down an airport terminal for two hours, airlines delayed almost a dozen flights and scores of air travelers probably were wondering whether they should have taken the train.
The shutdown of the A-2 terminal at Newark Liberty International Airport on Wednesday is probably typical in many ways. But a Port Authority police report gives a detailed account of the breach, the TSA's response, and some of the behind-the-scenes confusion that led to the two-hour closure.

Michael Collins Piper, veteran JFK researcher and author of "The Final Judgement," exposes the storyline and official government version of a potential assassinate plot of President Obama, or a future president in the book "In the President's Secret Service" by New York Times best selling author Ronald Kessler.
Kessler goes on to blame a future assassination plot on affirmitive action, the Secret Service's hiring of too many unqualified African-American agents, and also the Obama administration for their lapses in security.
Kessler is in effect creating a kind of plausible deniability on behalf of the government along with a possible "official government version" of the event.Michael Collins Piper, veteran JFK researcher and author of "The Final... more

UFC President Dana White, also a co-owner in the company, took to Twitter blasting Anonymous and promoting SOPA. On Jan. 22 he wrote, "@masontbell9 nice fake account. Hacking the site is not a big deal dummy. We are not in the website biz. Today was a great day!!! Pats!!!!" --------- The on Jan. 22 he taunted, "@fjbar75 the Internet is the coward capital of the world" -------------- But yesterday the exchange grew more heated after Dana White threw his support in for SOPA in a UFC on FOX 2 post-press conference interview. He commented, "Is SOPA the perfect bill? No, it's not. The only thing that we're focused on is piracy. Piracy is stealing. If you walk into a store and steal a f------ gold watch, it's the same as stealing a pay-per-view. I don't care what your twisted, demented idea of stealing is. These kids grew up on the Internet never had to pay for anything, so they don't think they should have to." http://www.freeturbine.com/index.php/news/artists-news/item/ufc-president-calls-out-anonymous-plugs-sopa-gets-ktfoUFC President Dana White, also a co-owner in the company, took to Twitter blasting... more

Congress is debating dangerous legislation that would give the Department of Justice unprecedented power to “blacklist” websites without a trial and give Hollywood copyright holders a new way to shut down a website’s financial services for alleged copyright infringement. It’s nothing short of a bill to create a U.S. censorship regime, and it’s moving fast. We need your help to stop this legislation before it can undermine Internet security and censor the web. Ready to join EFF, Demand Progress, Fight for the Future, Free Software Foundation, Creative Commons, CDT, the Participatory Politics Foundation, and Public Knowledge in the fight? Condemn the brutal murder of Comrade Mallojula Koteswara Rao, the beloved leader of the oppressed masses, the leader of Indian revolution and CPI (Maoist) Politburo member! --------------- November 24, 2011 would remain a black day in the annals of Indian revolutionary movement’s history. The fascist Sonia-Manmohan-Pranab-Chidambaram-Jairam Ramesh ruling clique who have been raising a din that CPI (Maoist) is ‘the biggest internal security threat’, in collusion with West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, killed Comrade Mallojula Koteswara Rao after capturing him alive in a well planned conspiracy. This clique which had killed Comrade Azad, our party’s spokesperson on July 1, 2010 once again spread its dragnet and quenched its thirst for blood. Mamata Banerjee, who had shed crocodile’s tears over the murder of Comrade Azad before coming to power, while enacting the drama of talks on the one hand after assuming office, killed another topmost leader Comrade Koteswara Rao and thus displayed nakedly its anti-people and fascist facet. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/recent-news/43045-statements-on-the-brutal-murder-of-comrade-mallojula-koteswara-rao-kishanji-the-beloved-leader-of-the-oppressed-massesCondemn the brutal murder of Comrade Mallojula Koteswara Rao, the beloved leader of... more

No sane person, especially someone who has had access to the elementary knowledge acquired in primary school, would agree that our species, especially those who are children, teenagers or youth, should be deprived of the right to live, today, tomorrow and forever. Never have human beings, throughout their eventful history, as persons endowed with intelligence, ever heard of an experience like that. I feel the duty to convey to those taking the trouble to read these Reflections the opinion that all of us, with no exception, are obliged to create awareness about the risks that humankind are running in an inexorable manner, towards a final and total catastrophe as the consequence of irresponsible decisions made by politicians who fate, rather than talent or merit, has placed the destiny of humankind in their hands. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/section-table/43040-genocidal-cynicism-by-fidel-castro-ruzNo sane person, especially someone who has had access to the elementary knowledge... more

The United States Federal Emergency Management Agency has numerous detainment camps throughout the United States. Some camps have been recently constructed and / or renovated and are fully staffed. The existence of the camps coupled with Presidential Executive Orders giving the President and Department of Homeland Security (of which FEMA is now part) control over ‘national essential functions’ in the event of ‘catastrophic emergency’ have resulted in concerns that the camps will be used to forcefully detain American citizens for unconstitutional purposes. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/bizzareweird/43037-us-fema-campsThe United States Federal Emergency Management Agency has numerous detainment camps... more

The gold was escorted through Caracas by troops and armoured vehicles. It was unloaded from a plane and taken under heavy guard to the Central Bank in the capital, Caracas. President Chavez has explained the move as an act of sovereignty that will protect Venezuela's reserves from global economic turbulence. However, critics say it is expensive and unnecessary. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/recent-news/43031-venezuela-pulls-gold-reserves-from-western-banksThe gold was escorted through Caracas by troops and armoured vehicles. Earlier this month, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released its much-trailed report ‘presenting new evidence’, said the BBC, ‘suggesting that Iran is secretly working to obtain a nuclear weapon.’ Relying on ‘evidence provided by more than 10 member states as well as its own information’, the IAEA said Iran had carried out activities ‘relevant to the development of a nuclear explosive device’. Indeed, informed scepticism in the corporate media has been muted or non-existent - the image of Iran as a ‘nuclear threat’ has yet again been imposed on the public mind. Any reasonable news reader and viewer would find it extremely difficult to question the emphatic declarations offered right across the media ‘spectrum’. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/recent-news/43028-the-iaea-iranEarlier this month, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) released its... more

You've got locks on your doors and maybe even an alarm system guarding your home. But all that stands between criminals and your bank account information is the word "password." Sound familiar? "Password," "123456" and, weirdly, "monkey" are among the 25 worst passwords of the year, according to SplashData, a private company that sells security services and password software.
SplashData compiled its list -- released Monday -- from files containing millions of stolen passwords posted online by hackers.
And despite all the fancy technology available to hackers, when it comes to breaking and entering, they'll still go for the low-hanging fruit, starting with easy passwords like these
Here's a tip for creating a more secure password: Make it eight characters or more, and use multiple types of characters -- upper- and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols. (For more tips, read DailyFinance's article on how to create safe, memorable passwords.)
