It is a story of courage and bravery, of death and lost loved loved ones. But also one that demonstrates our humanity, our passion for the sports we love. Our commitment to push further, to explore deeper, to test the boundaries of what the human body is capable.

Free diving is not a sport to be taken lightly. death is common and it’s participants walk a narrow path between fulfilling their dreams and meeting the almighty. William Trubridge is the unassisted world record holder with a depth of 288 feet. A man able to hold his breath for more than 5 minutes and who when not training in the water goes running holding his breath!
I hope you enjoy the film – Please take a moment to comment afterwards and give your thoughts or perhaps recommend other exceptional and unusual sportsmen for my next film.Free diving is not a sport to be taken lightly. death is common and it’s... more

Despite every effort from a bloke called Usain Bolt to steal the athletic limelight this week* (see below), onlookers were treated to a marvellous display of grace and finesse by competitors at the World Splashdiving championships held in Essen (also Germany) this weekend.
Splashdiving is a word created by putting the word "splash" and the word "diving" together, and it requires the participants to throw themselves off high diving boards in a sort of freestyle bombing figuration, in an attempt to make a massive splash on entering the pool.
There is a dangerous element to this sport, with divers not knowing if there limbs and bones will survive the impact of the jump into the water.
*You may have heard that on Sunday night Bolt became the first human being to run 100 metres in less than 9.6 seconds for the first time, on this planet. Ever. Big whoop.Despite every effort from a bloke called Usain Bolt to steal the athletic limelight... more
When building a submarine there's probably not many animals better than a dolphin to base it on, so with that in mind, the Seabreacher is off to a winning start.
The 'base model' will set you back $48,000 and can cruise at 35-40mph whilst on the surface and 20mph underwater. Just don't expect to be going 20,000 leagues down below, it can only dive to 5 foot, because of its snorkel.
Still, you can act out Flipper: The Movie to your heart' content now. When building a submarine there's probably not many animals better than a dolphin to... more
