New York is a deep blue state, and was almost assured to go the way of Barack Obama on Election Day. Still, as Diddy cast his ballot for the Democratic presidential candidate Tuesday, he couldn't help but feel that he had made a difference.
"I felt like my vote was the vote that put him into office. It was down to one vote, and that was going to be my vote. And that may not be true, but that's how much power it felt like I had," the hip-hop mogul said.
After spending much of the campaign using his star wattage to get other people to the polls, Diddy, like other celebrity political boosters, led Tuesday by example. He arrived at his polling site — a school in midtown Manhattan — in the morning and waited in line as a bevy of media prepared to capture the moment.
Diddy said he believed he was potentially making history by voting for the first black president, and also felt the weight of the past in the voting booth.
"I'm not trying to be dramatic, but I just felt like, Martin Luther King, and I felt the whole civil rights movement, I felt all that energy, and I felt my kids," he said. "It was all there at one time. It was a joyous moment." New York is a deep blue state, and was almost assured to go the way of Barack Obama... more
Sean "Diddy" Combs will continue his foray into reality television next January, when the music mogul joins with Mark Burnett, executive producer of Survivor and The Apprentice, for the reality talent show Starmaker. Much like he did with the Making the Band series, Combs will search for aspiring solo performers. Individual performers selected will be housed together in a coed environment featuring male and female performers.
Combs' executive producer credit on Starmaker will bring the Bad Boy and Sean John founder's total of reality shows to four. He currently serves as the executive producer of the MTV series Making The Band, Run's House and the VH1 series I Want to Work For Diddy.

"Who do u think u are, Diddy!?" LoL! Here's the deal. . . (bit of a giggle)
Diddy doesn't do routine. Traffic stops included.
A rep for Sean Combs has confirmed that members of the rapper's entourage briefly wound up on the business end of a Los Angeles Sheriff's deputy's weapon after getting pulled over for an expired tag.
Combs and crew were driving down Sunset Boulevard around 3:15 a.m. Sunday when a police cruiser pulled over one of the vehicles for the alleged infraction.
According to Sheriff's Dept. spokesman Steve Whitmore, two other cars in Combs' convoy also came to a halt, and several of the men got out. That prompted the deputy to call for back up and take extra precautions, per department policy.
"The men approached the deputy wanting to know what was going on and did so in an aggressive, verbal manner," Whitmore tells E! News. "There were about seven of them who walked towards him and the deputy, fearing for his safety, unsheathed his weapon and as soon as he did so, it was over."
His Diddyness' role in the incident was bystander, according to a rep for the Bad Boy mogul.
"Sean's car did not get pulled over," the publicist said. "No gun was pulled directly at him."
Whitmore says the men immediately calmed down, the officer holstered his gun and the rest of the stop was civil. The matter was resolved after the deputy determined the vehicle without the proper tags was a rental.
No one was detained or arrested, no citation was issued, and the Diddy fleet was allowed to continue on its merry way."Who do u think u are, Diddy!?" LoL! Here's the deal. . . (bit of a... more

“The stylized black-and-white footage rolled, and there was Dre rapping in close-up, just as expected. Negativity sucked the conference room empty, just as expected…
…But the music sounded like a Death Row track, by which I mean it was a Dr. Dre track. And Dre was doing the hook. That was bad enough. Then the East Coast niggas started showing up in cameos. First some East Coast basketball cats, big and impressive names if you’re from Brooklyn. This was the San Fernando Valley, though. And there was a war going on.
Tupac said, ‘If I see one more East Coast nigga in this motherfucker…’
…Then Kool G. Rap entered the video frame.
‘What the fuck!’ shouted Tupac.
And everybody began to beat the shit out of Sam Sneed.
