Sean Combs has gone from felon to Royal in one fell swoop.

There are certain things that I do not need to know, like who designed Kate Walsh‘s jewelry when she is on some red carpet. Well, or anyone’s jewelry on a red carpet come to think of it. Sure. I like to know who designed the dresses, but the jewelry? Who cares? It’s not like the TV viewing audience is running to Google Neil Lane and ordering the diamond encrusted emerald earrings. For the most part, that information is blather. In this age of celebrity hounding, there’s way too much information out there and it is really getting nauseating. It makes no sense why Donald Trump gets as much air time as he does. I cannot wait for the new hopeful First Lady, Melania to be on QVC hawking her costume baubles while First Daughter, Ivanka, will be duking it out hustling her real bauble collection on Gilt City. Sayonara Neil Lane. The world is changing and it is beginning to smell like 3-day old leftover fish.

Reports have it that P. Diddy, or is it Puff Doody or Sean Comb Over, oh, that’s Donald Trump, well, you know who I mean, received a three car police escort this past weekend from Hammerstein Ballroom to East Orange, New Jersey where the rapper was set to perform a song or two under a $75,000 contract. Really? Are you glad to know that? I sure as hell am not. It is THAT fact that speaks volumes as to the ills of our society, and why every schnook wants to be a star. You too, can walk around saying the N-word, encrusted in gold with diamonds in your teeth while New York City cops deliver you from paid gig to paid gig. Call me an old fogie…fine by me. But if you think that is cool, then you probably buy counterfeit LV bags on Canal Street.

In other riveting news that makes my skin crawl, Charlie Sheen received a police escort in Washington DC, this past weekend so he could get to his concert, for lack of a better term, performance wouldn’t apply. Sheen had to zip off to Los Angeles to try and get custody of his kids. How about the cops throw him in a lock down rather than deliver him in a timely fashion to spew nonsense? Eek.

P Diddy Visits Lil Wayne In Jail

Rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs paid his respect to incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne last week by visiting him at Rikers Island. According to weekend reports, Puff stopped by to see Weezy on Wednesday (April 28).

Rap mega-star Lil Wayne - locked up on a gun conviction - brought in at least one more bold-faced name this week: Diddy. The music mogul stopped by the Eric M. Taylor correctional facility to visit Lil Wayne on Wednesday. Diddy, born Sean Combs, even swapped his luxury wheels for the public bus like all the other visitors Wednesday. Diddy was on a pre-approved list to see Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter Jr., and the chat was limited to an hour, sources said. (New York Daily News)

Rapper T.I. recently paid homage to Wayne at a celebration ceremony in California.

T.I.'s welcome-home party was nothing short of epic - the infamous rapper was feted by the likes of Jamie Foxx, Usher and Diddy at L.A. hot spot Guys and Dolls on Sunday night, and the evening turned into a toast to the singer's future. Others on hand to welcome T.I. back on the scene included Lil' Kim, rapper Rick Ross and Amber Rose, who arrived sans Kanye Westand almost sans clothing - she wore nothing but a nude leotard. "I'm so happy to be with all of you tonight," he said. "And I cannot thank you enough for being here." Not just for T.I.: The rapper took some of the spotlight off himself when he asked the room to acknowledge another wayward star. "There are still people in the hip-hop community that need our support," he said. "So I ask everybody to please raise your glasses for Lil Wayne." (New York Daily News)

Wayne was sentenced to a year behind bars last March.

Lil Wayne has been sentenced to a year in jail after pleading guilty in a New York City gun case. The Grammy Award-winning rapper was taken away in handcuffs to start serving his term immediately after his sentencing. He'll serve his sentence in city jails, not a state prison. He could be released in about eight months with good behavior. (CBS News)

Recent reports claim ex-Rikers Island guard Amelia Negron was terminated for spying on Wayne.

Negron admits she did go into the unit, but denies she was there to see the rapper - who is serving a year-long sentence on gun possession charges - insisting she wanted to speak to a colleague. The 33 year-old is adamant the charges against her aren't true - and she's consulting lawyers over plans to file suit against her former bosses at the prison. Diddy Issues Aplogy To Vodka Magnate From Bubble Bath

Ciroc Vodka mogul Diddy has issued a formal apology for calling his competitors' products "pee pee." Speaking from his bubble bath, Diddy released a video to the public.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I come to you today as a man," Diddy says, "I feel like only a true man steps up to the plate. And people may not agree with his position and that man says, 'I'm sorry.' I'm sorry to all I may have offended. We're sorry for being the best... I am sorry that I came out with these flavors that taste so good -- I am sorry that the competition sales are down and we're up, there's nothing I could do about that, nothing I can do about the way your vodka tastes. Diddy's initial remarks made headlines last month.

The man leading the charge is Martin Silver -- the uber-millionaire behind Georgi Vodka. Silver claims he was sorely offended when he heard that Diddy took the mic in a NY nightclub last week and announced, "If you're not drinking Ciroc vodka, then you're drinking pee pee." Silver says he's so outraged that he plans on dumping several liters of Diddy's drink into a "large toilet bowl" -- and will deliver the crapper to the rapper ... unless he gets an apology. The pissing match will go down tomorrow afternoon ... if he's not too yellow to follow through with it. (TMZ)

Georgi Vodka owner Martin Silver recently took his personal issues involving Diddy's remarks to his New York City office.

Martin Silver, chief executive officer of Star Industries, filled a toilet bowl with bottles of Ciroc vodka and tried to deliver it to the hip-hop honcho's midtown office. "It is not right what he did," said Silver, whose Long Island-based liquor company makes the popular Georgi vodka. Thursday's stunt backfired when security guards at Combs' office wouldn't let Silver and his assistant into the building with the toilet. "Will P. Diddy talk to us to rectify the situation?" Silver asked the security guards, who responded with unwelcoming expletives. Silver left with the commode when someone upstairs threw a roll of toilet paper out a window. (New York Daily News)

In February, Diddy said his liquor line would help promote Trina's upcoming Amazin' album while she lends her image to his company.

"Things are gonna be real big," Diddy said about Trina. "She's an official Ciroc girl...Ciroc is gonna be promoting her album, she's gonna be helping us, we gonna be doing it together. We got a new partnership that we rocking with but most importantly, the record and a video is off the chain...You gonna see us performing the joint live, too. Diddy Reportedly Managing Nicki Minaj and Rick Ross

A source close to the entrepreneur/rapper has confirmed to Billboard.com that Diddy is not only co-managing Lil Wayne protégé Nicki Minaj but also Rick Ross. According to our source, Minaj subsequently went on to seek management from Troy Carter, Lady Gaga's manager. Although some websites claim to have confirmed that Carter is co-managing Minaj with Diddy, our source says it isn't the case and that Gaga pumped the breaks on the deal, threatening to find another manager if Carter took on Minaj as well. When that happened, Carter stepped back and Diddy stepped in, asking one of his own managers, James Cruz, to co-manage Minaj with him instead. (Billboard)

Nicki's former manager Debbie Antney recently revealed she was fired by the rap star.

"I received a letter, which was (a) suspension," says Antney. "The next letter that came in was a cease and desist in doing all business with Nicki Minaj from Nicki's attorney. I love Nicki. I wish her the most success. It's not about the music, she's like one of my children... I wish her no harm, only much success." (Hip Hop Pop Crunch)

Antney is reportedly the mother of Southern rapper Waka Flocka Flame.

According to her manager, Debbie Antney, mother of rising rapper Wacka Flocka Flame, the "My Chick Bad" featured rapper sent her a cease and desist notice, banning her from conducting any business on her behalf earlier this month. (Singersroom)

Earlier this year, Diddy compared Ross to the late Biggie Smalls.

"Oh y'all ain't hear the second verse," Diddy said about Ross' 'Angels' collaboration. "Yo, y'all gonna peep that when we world premiere that.
