On the 16th February, the Chinese New Year celebrations were on in Bury St Edmunds and Lord Tebbit aged 79, not knowing about the event, went out to investigate the noise and ended up shoving a child in a dragon costume.
""I then got jostled by a dragon. I have never been jostled by a dragon before. I gave it a shove, then got on my way," he said. He also previously admitted putting his hands on a drum in an attempt to stop the noise."-BBC

"As the rat replaces the pig, China enters a year that defines its future... A time for celebration, but rising prices and Olympic fever raise expectations."
The spring festival usually brings a time to relax and celebrate, but with the worst winter on record still effecting thousands of Chinese, as well as with food prices rising, Olympic expectations, talk that the economic high-growth phase may have peaked, and concern about the government's ability to address these expectations, China rings in this new year under more pressure than any other in decades.

The week before the spring festival is a peak of consumption as people splurge on new year gifts, food for family banquets and red seasonal decorations bearing rat symbols and wishes for good fortune."
"As the rat replaces the pig, China enters a year that defines its future... A... more
