As you read before we had a little mishap with the iPad and it was replaced for free by Apple. The day it was replaced we searched for a case that would keep it protected no matter want and we decided on the Survivor by Griffin Technology. I watched their video of their case with the iPhone and searched for reviewed and figured that if the case was considered military grade in the US and UK it could hold up to a moderately autistic child. As you read before we had a little mishap with the iPad and it was replaced for free... more

“Vicenta” is an awesome stop-motion animated short film directed by Sam Orti at the Spanish studio Conflictivos Productions. This plasticine/claymation movie turns out to be an epic little horror-film, with scenes of hot sex, bloody corpses and intense violence. The film tells the story of a woman in search of her husband’s lottery winnings, whose rich but miserly husband is having a steamy liaison with the scheming floozy who lives in the flat next door. If you’ve ever wondered what a hardcore claymation sex scene might look like, then you’ve absolutely got to check this one out!
This piece includes colorful pictures, as well as the beautifully animated short film.

The true relationship really comes down to early punk and early Hip Hop both being D.I.Y. movements with independent spirits. When Black Hip Hop artists began exploring (and creating) their underground, culminating in obscure, unbelievably NEW sounding vinyl spinning out of NYC, this was not entirely untread ground. So in addition to the African griots, the signifying toasters, the comedic Jump Blues vocalists, the chitlin circuit standups, the political poets, the fusion Jazz experimenters and the countless other pioneers that can lay legit claim to the roots of Hip Hop, leave a tiny space for the handful of Black punk rockers who dared to refuse to accept that they had to dig the music they were supposed to dig and wear the clothes they were supposed to wear. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/album-rewievs/22568-black-punk-time-blacks-in-punk-new-wave-and-hardcore-1976-1984The true relationship really comes down to early punk and early Hip Hop both being... more

By mid-1977 the shape of the scene for the next couple of years was set: a musically-centered subculture, inspired by records and publicity from the U.K., centered in live performance in small nightclubs in North Beach and Hollywood, neighborhoods laden with both bohemian/ counter culture traditions and commercial sleaze culture. Many people got jobs in the same areas, where bizarre looks or behavior had some market value. They had no set ethics or alternative values. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/album-rewievs/13872-california-punkBy mid-1977 the shape of the scene for the next couple of years was set: a... more

HardTek aka Free Tekno
Free tekno is the name given to the music predominantly played at free parties in Europe. The spelling of the word tekno is made to deliberately differentiate the musical style from that of techno. The music is fast, normally 180 to 200 bpm and characterised by a pounding repetitive kick drum.
Tekno evolved in tandem with the teknival movement in the early 1990s since many of the teknival organisers and DJs were also making music. The music drew on influences such as hardcore, rave, jungle, gabba and techno, with the producers taking the sound in a darker, more organic direction. An emphasis is placed on samples from TV shows, films and popular culture which are placed at strategic moments in the tracks. The music was produced with whatever was available: drum machines, synthesisers and keyboards as well as computer programs such as Cubase. In recent years there has been a trend using laptops for live performances, because the capabilities of both the hardware and software are improving very fast. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/industrial/6576-kom.kom” who makes Great,Cool HARDCORE Music is so young musician. He is still high... more

Zerogoki is a polymorph live act (Breakcore, Hardcore, Speedcore…) who can work on dance floors and also in the dark swamps of the Noise & Ambient music. Zerogoki is multi-rhythm, multi-structure but keeps Industrial as a leitmotiv... Its a very personal research on making blurred climates - unhealthy from some opinions - in a word, let's just say strange! Marking music is never comfortable.... http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/noise/378-zerogokiZerogoki is a polymorph live act (Breakcore, Hardcore, Speedcore…) who can work... more

Knar, an electronic musician from Saskatoon who's style varies from harsh breaks, to 8-bit, to kraftwerk-like electropop. The music is close to electro acid pop with moments of great programming, acid music in a sense, with excellent sampling even if the work has been genrated with a CommodoreC64. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/industrial/359-knarKnar, an electronic musician from Saskatoon who's style varies from harsh breaks,... more

“64revolt was initially formed by believing in the power of machines. And NOT in believing in the society as it is today. Our lyrics aren’t as direct as many fellow dhc-acts because we think that the audience is fed up with stage performers who think they can dictate what is right and what is wrong. We do admire that kind of effort but we have chosen another path lol.” http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/punk/355-64revolt“64revolt was initially formed by believing in the power of machines.
