Andre 3000 [click to read] has never been the type to toot his own horn. So although his lyrical prowess has caused many to put his sparse verses on a pedestal, Andre has met the high acclaim with a cold shoulder.

He continued, “I hate it, to be honest. ... I cannot save no whole rap game. I mean, the rap game has to save itself. Everybody's saving it. People like Lil Wayne is saving it. He's bringing energy to it. You cannot put that all on one

Much has been made about Kanye West debuting his new song on this song from his upcoming album to close out this year's edition of MTV's Video Music Awards. But before Kanye West could deliver his highly anticipated performance, it would be a pop princess taking ownership of the evening.
Britney Spears would make a significant comeback from a career that appeared to be in utter turmoil by taking home three awards. Ms.Spears snatched down awards for "Best Female Video," "Best Pop Video," and "Video Of The Year" for "Piece Of Me."
Hip Hop struggled to snag awards but Lil Wayne would walk away with "Best Hip Hop Video" and would be the lone Hip Hopper to get an award. Weezy also performed a medley of songs as Leona Lewis opened up for his performance of "Misunderstood" before going into "A Millie," and closing out with "This Way." Wayne also joined Kid Rock on stage for "Sweet Home Alabama."

His record label is a joint venture between Def Jam and a corporation known for producing health and beauty products. His label mate is infamous for YouTube clips which feature her scarfing down Papa John's pizzas. Q understands people will be skeptical of him, as he tries to establish a career on TAG Records.
"I'm a rapper at the end of the day," Q tells Billboard magazine. "I'm not here to just promote the TAG brand. I'm an artist, and I'm here to promote my music."
While acts such as Cool Kids and Tyga have found success using major corporations to avoid the financial risks of recording on a major label, fans can be slow to accept an artist who seems more interested in advertising products than making music.

After the teenager allegedly began throwing objects at the singer during his performance, audience members claim Akon invited him on stage and tossed him into the crowd. Abby Rosa, who was also in attendance, claims she suffered symptoms of a concussion after the irate fan landed on her. The Republican party has my thoughts all in a mess right now. It’s just one thing after the other with these people these days. I thought it was peculiar enough that McCain went and named Sarah Palin as his VP candidate. First I thought this was a move to get all the feminist types who wanted Hilary to run mostly because she was a woman, then something got me thinking: he tried to say that Alaska was the nation’s most important state (and then play it off like he used the wrong choice of words or something...ha!). Not trying to take away from the importance of Alaska or anything considering I do find salmon to be a rather yummy fish and supposedly it tastes best when it’s from Alaska…but damn. He tried to play it off like he messed up his words, but if you ask me it merely revealed his main agenda (which happens to be one that we’re quite familiar with as a country now): oil.
