Globalization is Killing the Globe: Return to Local Economies

Which brings us to Spain and Greece -- and the problem of all developed nations including the USA. So long as globalism continues apace, the transnational corporations and their CEOs will continue to become fabulously wealthy. But, more importantly, they also acquire the political power that comes with that control of economies.

So they tell us that instead of putting back into place tariffs, domestic content laws, and other "protectionist" policies that built America from the time the were first proposed by Alexander Hamilton in 1791 (and largely adopted by Congress in 1793) until they were dismantled by Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush, we should instead simple "accept the reality" that we're "living beyond our means" and we have to "cut back our wages and social programs."

In other words, they get richer, our nations become poorer, and national sovereignty is reduced.

Nations -- and in large countries like the USA, even states -- must again rebuild their manufacturing base and become locally self-sufficient, so their own consumers are buying products manufactured by their own workers.

The transnational corporations benefiting from globalization are also, in most cases, the transnational corporations that own our media, so even the word globalization is rarely heard in reports on economic crises around the world.

But globalization is the villain here, and one that needs to be taken in hand and brought under control quickly if we don't want to see virtually the nations of the world end up subservient to corporate control, a new form of an ancient economic system known as feudalism.

The NWO is a global corporate takeover; they control governments through the UN and central banks...and they definitely pull the president's strings (no matter who is elected). The left/right paradigm is a mirage that sets the agenda by establishing the parameters.

Perfect example, 2004 election, Bush vs. Kerry, supposed opposition but both Yale Skull & Bones. Its not a coincidence, just like Bush, Cheney, Obama and the Queen of England all being related (mainstream news-google it).

When all these politicians talk about "global this" and "global that", they purposefully created the problem, imploded it and used it as an excuse to create greater global governance. A couple of weeks ago, Jeff Gates wrote that Israel would assassinate President Obama. Few members of the public took it seriously. Members of the “not so public” knew it already, this and much more. Last weeks bungled CIA burglary of Senator Landieu’s office, done by a covert operations crew from the DOD and CIA “non official cover” recruits didn’t seem like much. It was like the tip of an iceberg, you only see a bit, but much more is hidden. What are we hiding? During the Bush administration, a “second state” within America was built, hidden behind crooked Federal prosecuting attorney’s hired by Ashcroft and Gonzales who ran and may still be involved in hiding operations under the authority of Dick Cheney and Karl Rove.

Remember the talk about Dick Cheney running the JSOC, Joint Special Operations Command, normally a military command that answers to the JCOS (Joint Chiefs of Staff), Secretary of the Army and Secretary of Defense, under Congressional oversight? Remember that all that oversight was removed? Why do you think that was?

Our “joint command” got privatized. CIA functions were given to companies like Blackwater who answered to the GOP, not Congress or the President. Israel and their Mossad were included with their history of “false flag” attacks and spying against the US. Members out of every agency, FBI, CIA, NSA, DIA, DOD, and every military command were “selected” for participation in a special “extra legal” read illegal organization. Even when a new administration took office, hundreds of Federal officials in key positions kept working for their old bosses along with thousands of “contractors” and rogue “shadow” employees of the dozen or so spy agencies, people who were never really on an official payroll. War Criminals: Arrest Warrants Requested - Pravda.Ru

International arrest warrants have been requested for George W. Bush, Richard (Dick) Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, George Tenet, Condoleeza Rice and Alberto Gonzales at the International Criminal Court, The Hague, Netherlands.

Professor of Law Francis A. Boyle of the University of Illinois College of Law in Champain, United States of America, has issued a Complaint with the Prosecutor for the International Criminal Court against the above-mentioned for their practice of “extraordinary rendition” (forced disappearance of persons and subsequent torture) in Iraq and for criminal policy which constitutes Crimes against Humanity in violation of the Rome Statute which set up the ICC.

As such, the Accused (mentioned above) are deemed responsible for the commission of crimes within the territories of many States signatories of the Rome Statute, in violation of Rome Statute Articles 5 (1)(b), 7 (1)(a), 7 (1)(e), 7 (1)(g), 7(1)(h), 7(1)8i) and 7(1)(k). Despite the fact that the USA is not a signatory State, the ICC has the jurisdiction to prosecute under Article 12 (2)(a) of the Rome Statute.

This Article stipulates that the Court may exercise its jurisdiction if one or more States in which the conduct in question occurred has accepted the jurisdiction of the Court. Furthermore, the forced disappearance of persons and torture in deemed by the Rome Statute as a Crime against Humanity, one which is still ongoing.

The Exercise of Jurisdiction may be activated under Article 13, with respect to a crime committed under Article 5 if the Prosecutor has initiated an investigation. Professor Boyle, in his issue of complaint, respectfully requested that such an investigation be initiated.

The issue of complaint states “about 100 human beings have been subjected to enforced disappearances and subsequent torture by the Accused”, adds that some of them could still be alive today, and that an investigation could save these lives. Regarding those whose enforced disappearances led to their deaths, the Complaint requests a process of explanation and clarification for what would be a murder investigation.

MR. CHENEY, WE AREN'T ALL YELLOW - We don't need you to protect us.

Mr. Cheney, while you and those around you were being kept safe during the Vietnam War, I was fighting in Vietnam. I wasn't fighting for you. If I had known who you were, I would have thrown you in a well in a New York minute. Like generations before me, I hoped my own children wouldn't have to sleep in mud day after day and see their friends blown apart beside them. Now I have to listen to your endless whining about how Americans should think nothing about how important it is to be safe, safe, of course, because we are sending the children we fought to protect out to die for us. If I have to be kept safe in my old age, seeing our kids and grandkids die, many of them husbands, parents, it just isn't worth it. If real killing and dying has to go on to really protect America, something some of us aren't so sure is the case, I will go right now, but I am dragging your bloated hulk with me.

Alot of us who fought in Vietnam will go. We deserve it. We were supposed to build a world for our children and grandchildren to grow up in and we failed. We elected crooks, we took too much and gave too little and we had our head in the sand while our freedoms were taken away from us.

People like Cheney, Bush, Rove, Limbaugh, Reagan, Ginrich, Ashcroft, Rice, Delay and Lott told us the world owed us a living. Too many of us believed you and mortgaged our future to pay for a party we were never invited to anyway. We have nothing left but our kids and you are asking for them too. I say no. We are going to pay our own way. We aren't like you.

We have it coming. When it was time to come home from war and build a better society, we, instead, let cheap crooked politicans take over. We stayed out of politics. It was too dirty for us, beneath our honor. What took over, of course, was a generation of phony heroes, Bush the "war fighter" whose service records are classified for a century and an endless series of lying war profiteers, war mongers, torturers and scumbags.

I want every stinking one of them with me. They can walk in front. I will keep them moving. This is what boots are for. With Cheney, nobody would ever stand behind him anyway, if he had a gun in his hand.

What I find most offensive is that we can fight war after war because we have soldiers who have no other job than to be in the military. They are trapped, the jobs they should have were shipped overseas, the money to build a real economy wasted on phony wars and our kids are supposed to die around the world, not saving us from tyranny but working for thieves and cowards.

More sickening still, we lie to our kids, call them heroes, give them medals, make up imaginary enemies for them to hate and manipulate them by telling them how scared all of us are and how grateful we are for them keeping us safe.

We could have taught them better but we were too busy shopping, watching the "big game" and telling war stories down at the Legion hall.

Don't fight for me. Don't defend me. I don't want anyone captured, questioned, tortured or killed in my name. Don't put anyone on trial in a military kangaroo court so I can fly to Paris for a weekend without some malcontent with a box cutter getting in my face. I am an American. I will deal with it myself, thank you very much.

The worst thing a parent can do is outlive one of their children. I know this first hand. Many American parents know this first hand. Simply because we have become a generation of cowardly bloated former yuppies is no reason for us to glue ourselves to Fox News waiting for the daily terrorism outlook.

A big double standard for Obama

Bush took a week to talk about the shoe bomber and then tried him in court. So why is Cheney savaging Obama?

President Obama's candor Tuesday describing the mosaic of warnings about Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab that were mishandled by U.S. intelligence officials shouldn't be noteworthy; it should be routine. But let's be honest, it isn't, and Obama deserves credit for bringing what he called "human and systemic failures" out into the light shortly after he learned about them. It seems intelligence agencies had enough information, some of it admittedly scattered, to keep Abdulmutallab from boarding a plane to the U.S. on Christmas Day. It's hard to think of a comparable example of President Bush being so quickly forthcoming about facts that didn't reflect well on his administration.

So it's hard to know what to make of the difference between media and political reactions to Obama's decision to stay on his Christmas vacation and wait three days to make a comment about the bombing attempt, and President Bush's decision to stay on his Christmas vacation in 2001 — merely three months after the trauma of 9/11 — and wait a surprising six days to even mention Richard Reid's attempted shoe-bombing (and then he only mentioned it in passing.) Even the New York Times raised an eyebrow at Obama's delay in addressing the Christmas bomb plot, describing him as "having emerged from Hawaiian seclusion on Monday to reassure the American public and quell gathering criticism." Republicans like Reps. Pete Hoekstra and Peter King have been nastier (and Hoekstra even had the gall to raise money around the attack).

And hours after this post went up, former Vice President Dick Cheney emerged from his hole and condemned Obama in a statement to his favorite stenographers at Politico: “ [W]e are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren’t, it makes us less safe,” Cheney said. “Why doesn’t he want to admit we’re at war? It doesn’t fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office. It doesn’t fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency — social transformation — the restructuring of American society.” Cheney also seems to be criticizing Obama for trying Abdulmutallab in criminal court — "He seems to think if he gives terrorists the rights of Americans, lets them lawyer up and reads them their Miranda rights, we won’t be at war" — even though the Bush administration did the same with Reid and crowed about his conviction.
