this interview is kind of old, but CLASSIC....sometimes interviews don't always go as planned.
Limited Edition TV interviews Busy P, head of Ed Banger Records. HILARIOUS.
As you can see here, sometimes the language barrier can cause very awkward (entertaining nonetheless) moments.

"Talk about worlds colliding, this month’s Keep Watch comes courtesy of Congorock, and fuses together every conceivable genre in electronic music to create a sound all it’s own. Completely balanced, it’s a perfect mix to kick off spring and summer with, featuring a range of the biggest tracks from the darker side of the spectrum to the poppy, lighter side of things. Here’s a forty minute look into what’s happening in Italy’s underground Dance scene.
Citing influences from Dubsided to Capcom, Congorock blends together a range of styles to create his own brand of effervescent house. Originally from the southern town of Lecce, Congorock now calls Milan home, and his music is very rapidly crossing borders worldwide. Having recently released his first EP for Fool’s Gold “Runark”, Congorock joins the ranks with Crookers and Bloody Beetroots at the top of Italy’s burgeoning electronic scene." via Mishka NYC

New York City's own bass heavy club music champions, the Trouble and Bass crew, deliver the goods on this latest installment of the Scion CD Sampler series.
"Acid Jacks - Crazy Legs! : Acid Jacks lives up to his moniker on this track without question. Straight up house and acid, no chaser. A very accessible dancefloor track certain to please House devotees, Electro fans, & even possibly some kid's aunt who's never heard a club track. 126BPM
Udachi - Jellyroll : Udachi is becoming a force to be reckoned with. This track is one example. It's one of his more half-time, Dub-steppy outings without question, but one gets the feeling Udachi would probably kill a track in any heavy synth bass sub-genre. The track is rife with "oh snap!" moments on the bass synth trickery alone, but you need look no further than the first 45 seconds of the track to know... this guy actually listens to and understands original Dub music. 127BPM
AC Slater - Calm Down : With a handful of nods to the almighty drum and bass genre, AC Slater delivers a seriously heavy exercise in Dubstep pugilism. Leaving the downbeat open on most measures (which AC does to great effect in this piece) is highly recommended to seekers of the funk. Manly vocals are doubleplusgood. 139/69.5BPM" via LA Friendly

As far as supergroups go, we're not really that about it (megalomaniacs rarely work well together), but we've been itching to hear Cubic Zirconia's new stuff for months. The power quartet that is vocalist Tiombe Lockhart, Nick Hook (of Drop the Lime band), Todd Weinstock (ex-Glassjaw!) and Daud Sturdivant (empath, every band needs one) granted our wishes over the weekend while we were BBQing by dropping this little video heatrock on us. To amp the awesome, they also offered a stream of "Fuck Work"'s killer Dam-Funk remix, coming from their EP out June 22. We sense a summer mantra...As far as supergroups go, we're not really that about it (megalomaniacs rarely... more

Mr. Oizo was *the* sound of 1999, so what better way to bring it right bang up to date, than to give it a 16Bit remix. Not sure who 16Bit is, no neither was I until a month ago.
He produced a tune that sampled a chainsaw that also shook dubstep clubs up and down the country, but it was only after he arrived on Kissy Sell Out's radio show that the world started taking notice.
The guys over at the Fat! club have tracked them down to find out a bit more and offer up the 16Bit and Kissy Sell Out remixes of that infamous Levi's track.

Now when you say The O2, drum and bass might not be up there with the music you’d associate with it, probably more Michael Jackson and Prince, but how wrong you’d be…
After the sad and unexpected closure of their residency at Heaven and following on from the phenomenal success of Ram@Matter, it was time for one of drum and bass’ leading labels to step up to the plate and host their own party. And my gosh, what a party!
Last Friday saw half of London and their Gran descend on the O2’s new superclub, Matter, for Hospital Records’ maiden voyage into the deepest realms of East London.
Topping the line up was Brazilian DJ, DJ Marky, who’s renowned for whipping the crowd into a frenzy with his energetic mixing and insane scratching (http://tinyurl.com/b9x5sd) and he certainly didn’t disappoint, dropping both classic and brand new dubs to the already heaving dancefloor.
It wasn’t all just about Room 1 either, the Dubstep lineup in Room 2 was massive as well, with Benga, Loefah and Tayo all spinning. Tayo’s selection was heavy as always and Benga did his usual thing; smashing the place up with rapid mixes and a stack of dubplates that make you feel like your bowels could drop at any minute.
High Contrast stepped up after Marky with a typical HC mix, rolling vocals, a few electro-disco nuggets and quite possibly what I’d say is gonna be one of this year’s biggest remixes, a relick of La Roux’s ‘In for the Kill.’ Such a heavy tune I even updated my Twitter! (http://twitter.com/mattbrawn/status/1291315954)
Next up to the decks in Room 1 was Hospital Records CEO, Tony Colman (aka London Elektricity) who smashed through the upcoming Hospital (and sister label Med School) releases with ease. ‘Synth Geek’ by Randomer made the piston-injected bass sensitive dancefloor feel like a Japanese earthquake, but not quite as much as when he switched up the dance, dropping the now infamous Dubstep remix of TC’s ‘Where’s My Money?’ Gun salutes and ‘braps’ in abundance, Mr London Elektricity then turned it on its head, slamming ‘Printer Jam’ by Mistabishi in. (Check out the single’s video as featured in Current Virals here: http://tinyurl.com/b8gc85)
At 4:15, Cyantific stepped up and things started to get proper heavy. Tearing through tracks like a man possessed, it’d be fair to say Cyantific tore the roof (and supporting walls) off of Matter. He definitely gave the bass-wobbling dancefloor a good pounding, double dropping tunes like Logisitic’s ‘Toy Town’ and his own remix of ‘Disconnected,’ much to mine and the crowd’s enjoyment.
The night ended (rather hazily) with the Bristol boys from Full Cycle, Krust and Die, splitting the remaining time between them. Krust rolled through some industrial tech that could make grown men cry and nearly made my knees gave way, with Die laying down his trademark wobble right across Matter.
I’ll definitely be hitting up the next Hospitality @ Matter. Yes, it’s a pain in the arse to get to, yes it’s a pain in the arse to get home from, but so worth it!
Hospitality @ Matter matters. Fact. Now when you say The O2, drum and bass might not be up there with the music... more

Well, not so much the jungle but The Eden Project in Cornwall.
Reports confirm that this year's South West Drum and Bass Awards are to be held at the Eden Project, the first gig of its kind to be played at the venue.
"We are taking over the whole site, creating four different arena’s for different styles of music. It’s an early start but this type of event won’t be happening again this year so easily falls into the ‘must attend’ category." they tell us.
On the line up is Andy C, Grooverider and Krafty Kuts, but the kids can only party in the biodomes until 9pm.
