HR 1750 is the worst bill ever because it gives presidents the power to single-handedly launch wars and to lock people up without trial.
This legislation, Section 1034 of the worst bill ever, undoes the limitations on one-man rule put in place by the U.S. Constitution over two centuries ago. This is the biggest formal shift of power in our government since we’ve had a government.
We have military operations now in some 75 countries, and a significant war in Libya, all illegal under the U.S. Constitution and the War Powers Act. But the worst bill ever will erase the War Powers Act, and the Constitution will simply be ignored.
Meanwhile the significant withdrawal that President Obama promised to begin in Afghanistan has been scaled back to a withdrawal of 2.5 percent of U.S. forcesHR 1750 is the worst bill ever because it gives presidents the power to... more

Saturday night, a certified TSA official will be at the Santa Fe High School prom to oversee student searches.
This all comes after two Capital High School students, sisters, filed a lawsuit saying they were groped by a security agent at Capital High School's prom last month. On Friday, the court ordered Santa Fe Public Schools and the security company ASI to provide at least one TSA certified person at the Santa Fe High School prom and the Capital High School graduation.
KOB Eyewitness News 4 talked to one of the sisters suing the district earlier this week. Candice Herrera said, "She grabbed my breast and shook the inner part of my bra and shook it and then picked up the front of my dress to mid thigh and she was patting down my bare legs."Saturday night, a certified TSA official will be at the Santa Fe High School prom to... more

Nowadays in most states, the police can just come in your home and shoot everyone on site with little or no evidence of any wrongdoing, and it's against the law to protect yourself against armed thugs with badges.
***
"How have we come down to this? It did not happen overnight, and this has been the result of decades of extreme-right-wing views of the role of "law-enforcement" polices throughout this country. The very first problem with the entire concept stems from the definition of "law·en·force·ment." The term infers that there are laws that need to be enforced; but the fact is there are no longer any "laws" that govern the behavior of those in uniform.
This brings us to the latest version of lawless-behavior by a SWAT TEAM in Tucson, Arizona. This nameless and faceless "TEAM" murdered an ex-marine in his own home, with 71 shots which were fired at him without reason: and basically without warning. All the members of this TEAM should be profiled in the local papers, with their pictures and home addresses published, along with the records of their entire-service to the despicable Tucson Police Department that routinely utilizes their illegal-services (murder-for-hire). If Tucson cops were any-good at their so-called jobs then the number of home-invasions would not be the problem that they definitely are today!
Is the USA now nothing but a holding-pen for unnamed suspects that can be murdered at random; if so, then we need to know that! If this situation is not directly and publicly addressed then things like Vigilantism could well begin to make a comeback among the population. Because no people can be targeted as we have been TARGETED, for very long without producing an equal and opposite REACTION to these illegal and outrageous behaviors by those that are supposed to protect the public and not simply brutalize and murder us."

The Texas House passed a bill that would make it a criminal offense for public servants to inappropriately touch travelers during airport security pat-downs.
Approved late Thursday night, the measure makes it illegal for anyone conducting searches to touch “the anus, sexual organ, buttocks, or breast of another person” including through clothing.
It also prohibits searches “that would be offensive to a reasonable person.”
The bill’s chief sponsor is Republican Rep. David Simpson, who said, “this has to do with dignity and travel, and prohibiting indecent, groping searches.”
He believes it will keep Transportation Security Administration officials from treating travelers like criminals, though the measure may be superseded by federal law.
After a brief but raucous debate, lawmakers approved the measure with little opposition — drawing applause from supporters. The Texas House passed a bill that would make it a criminal offense for public... more

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. said Ferhani and Moroccan pal Mamdouh were to sneak into 'a major synagogue in Manhattan' disguised as Hasidic Jews, complete with 'peyot', or side curls, and beards.
He said: 'He [Ferhani] was committed to violent jihad, and his plan became bigger and more violent with each passing week.'
Mamdouh, of Moroccan descent and Ferhani, of Algerian descent, were arrested late on Tuesday night allegedly trying to buy weapons in exchange for drugs. It was during the sting that one of the suspects confessed to the plot the kill Jews, the court heard.
One of the terror suspects arrested for allegedly planning to attack New York synagogues dressed as a Hasidic Jew used to work as a make-up salesman for Saks Fifth Avenue, it has emerged.
27-year-old Ahmed Ferhani, who quit his job to try to become a male model, was caught with taxi dispatcher Mohammad Mamdouh, 20, on Tuesday night in a dramatic police sting operation as they tried to acquire a fearsome arsenal of weapons from an undercover NYPD officer.
One of the suspects is a U.S. citizen and the other is a legal resident. Both already had weapons in their possession, police said.
It emerged today that both had been arrested for robbery last year. Ferhani has a criminal record for narcotics, and was allegedly trying to sell drugs to fund the gun deal.
Described as the alleged ringleader of the attack, he moved to America in 1995 when his family sought asylum from war-torn Algeria. He went on to work as a cosmetics salesman at Saks Fifth Avenue, but had been known to police for some time.
Yesterday, Ferhani's father, J. Ferhani, insisted his son was not an extremist, instead describing him as a wannabe model who drank alcohol and had a Christian girlfriend.
He told the New York Times his son was 'a good kid' who 'got involved with a bad kid'.
'He doesn't pray, he drinks,' he added.
Neighbours of Ferhani doubted he was capable of such an act, and described the pair as 'knuckleheads'.Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. said Ferhani and Moroccan pal Mamdouh were to... more

The Rev. Jacob Jester wasn’t trying to start anything.
But when he saw security screeners at Kansas City International Airport patting down a baby — a baby — he took a picture. And then he shared that picture on Twitter.
Jester tweeted his picture with the message: “Just saw #tsa agents patting down a little baby at @KCIAirport Pretty sure that’s extreme
The Transportation Security Administration, which has contracted with FirstLine Transportation Security to handle screening, issued a statement saying the officers followed proper procedures.
After the stroller set off the alarm, “officers followed protocol to conduct additional screening on members of the family, who were very cooperative,” the TSA said

"Counter terrorism expert Juval Aviv said terrorists seeking revenge for Osama bin Laden’s death will turn to attacks less dramatic than the destruction on Sept. 11 — focusing instead on soft targets like hotels, places of worship and mass transit hubs.
“It’s easier and less complicated to carry out,” Aviv said. “What they’re going to achieve if they’re successful is to kill as many people as possible.”

On June 5, 2006, author Ed Haas contacted the Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters to ask why, while claiming that bin Laden is wanted in connection with the August 1998 bombings of US Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, the poster does not indicate that he is wanted in connection with the events of 9/11.
Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI responded, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Osama bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting bin Laden to 9/11.” Tomb continued, “Bin Laden has not been formally charged in connection to 9/11.”
Asked to explain the process, Tomb responded, “The FBI gathers evidence. Once evidence is gathered, it is turned over to the Department of Justice. The Department of Justice then decides whether it has enough evidence to present to a federal grand jury. In the case of the 1998 United States Embassies being bombed, bin Laden has been formally indicted and charged by a grand jury. A new bill sponsored by Texas Republican Rep. David Simpson would make the Obama Administration's policy of TSA's fondling travelers genitalia in enhanced patdowns a felony. It's simply beyond words that we even need a law to ban the TSA's outrageous constitutional violations.

A former Miss USA's tearful claim that she was groped during a pat-down at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport could be a criminal matter under a bill gaining momentum in the Texas Legislature.
The proposed Texas law, aimed at people conducting security checkpoints at airports and public buildings, would make it a felony to intentionally touch someone's private areas — even on top of clothing — unless the officer or agent has probable cause to believe the person is carrying something illegal.
State Rep. David Simpson, R-Longview, who sponsored the bill, said Friday that the invasive pat-down searches at airports nationwide are a violation of the Fourth Amendment, which prohibits unreasonable searches.A new bill sponsored by Texas Republican Rep. Israeli spy, Jonathan Pollard who has been imprisoned in the US for over 25 years, has for the first time, sent a letter to US President Barack Obama pleading with him to commute his sentence to time served, ahead of the Passover holiday, the Jerusalem Post reported Friday.
According to the report, the letter was handed to Obama by President Shimon Peres in their meeting in Washington earlier this month.
"I hope that my own personal appeal may touch your heart and elicit a compassionate, humanitarian response to my heartfelt request to be sent home to Israel for Passover, the holiday of freedom,” Pollard wrote.

The Ashkenazi chief rabbi of Israel, Yona Metzger, told congregants in a Sabbath sermon that if U.S. President Barack Obama seeks reelection, he must release Jonathan Pollard, Israel Radio reported.
In the sermon delivered at Yeshurun Synagogue in Jerusalem on Saturday, Metzger told said there was a feeling that many American Jews that had supported Obama in the last election were disappointed in him, in no small part because of Obama's indifference to Pollard.
"If Obama wishes to dictate Israeli policy, he must show that he has mutual interests with Israel," Israel Radio quoted Metzger as saying. No Place For Hate Hoax, or why hate crimes laws are pointless and potentially dangerous.
***
The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill's Department of Public Safety has determined that a report of alleged aggravated assault filed by a student last week is false and the university will not be reporting it as a hate crime to the federal government.
Winston Crisp, vice chancellor for student affairs, confirmed to the Daily Tar Heel that UNC freshman Quinn Matney, who is gay, falsified his report.
“The aggravated assault did not take place,” Crisp said, adding that he believes no one other than Matney acted dishonestly.
Dear Students, Faculty and Staff:
The Department of Public Safety has determined that the alleged aggravated assault reported to campus last night did not occur. That report, filed with campus police on April 5, was false. The University will not report it as a hate crime.
It is important to recognize that incidents of harassment do occur. When they do, we take them seriously. We strive to foster a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment at Carolina.
We recognize that this has been a difficult time for campus. Members of the community who feel they need to discuss what has happened are encouraged to contact the Dean of Students Office at 919-966-4042; Counseling and Wellness Services at 919-966-3658 or 919-966-2281 after hours; LGBTQ Center at 919-843-5376; Diversity and Multicultural Affairs at 919-962-6962; or Human Resources' Employee Assistance Program at 919-929-2362.No Place For Hate Hoax, or why hate crimes laws are pointless and potentially... more

Kentucky becomes the latest state to reign in corrections costs by enacting sentencing reforms. Not to be outdone, a Texas county has gotten creative with drug sentencing in the case of Willie Nelson.
Governor Steve Beshear signed Kentucky's HB 463 into law on March 3. "This overhaul of Kentucky's penal code is the result of a multi-year effort involving members of the executive, legislative and judicial branches," said Gov. Beshear. "Over the last three years, we've made headway with aggressive efforts to bring common sense to Kentucky's penal code, and our prison population has dropped each of the past three years. House Bill 463 helps us be tough on crime, while being smart on crime."
Kentucky's law calls for probation for small time drug possession charges. It also calls for drug treatment to be mad available. The law reduces penalties for small time drug dealing while increasing penalties for large-scale trafficking. It also decreases the drug free zone from 1000 yards to 1000 feet.
"Today, if you sell half a gram of rock cocaine, that's a Class C felony," said Van Ingram, director of the Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy. "When the new law goes into effect in 90 days, you will have to sell more than four grams to get Class C. That means instead of a five-to-ten-year sentence, you'll be looking at one-to-five," he told the Chronicle.
The new law lowers possession of less than an ounce of marijuana from a Class A misdemeanor worth up to a year in jail to a Class B misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of 45 days in jail, if any jail sentence is imposed.
In November, Willie Nelson was pulled over at a Border Patrol checkpoint in Hudspeth County, Texas. Officers smelled marijuana and when a search of the tour bus was performed, they found 6.2 ounces of weed.
According to the Big Bend Sentinel, the case is about to be resolved in a very creative way. The Hudspeth County attorney has decided to make a plea deal with Willie.
“I’m gonna let him plead, pay a small fine and he’s gotta sing “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” with his guitar right there in the courtroom,” County Attorney Kit Bramblett said this week. “You bet your ass I ain’t gonna be mean to Willie Nelson.”
Bramblett oversees 10 to 12 personal use case per month. The 6.24 ounces that Willie Nelson was caught with is above the amount Bramblett can handle in his jurisdiction. Bramblett has found a way around this...
“Between me and the sheriff, we threw out enough of it or smoked enough so that there’s only three ounces, which is within my jurisdiction,” Bramblett said.
I'm not sure how much of that was a joke or not but I know that our overcrowded prisons are no laughing matter. Kentucky's prison population has increased fourfold in the past two decades, from 5,000 in 1990 to more than 20,000 now. Drug offenders account for 25% of the prison population, but 38% of inmates admitted since 2000.
Maybe Gatewood Galbraith could represent Willie Nelson in Lexington and we'll all get treated to a duo of "The Green, Green Grass of Home". That's one concert I wouldn't want to miss.

Remember all those cases of fake terrorism, FBI infiltration and entrapment of Muslims from last year?
*********
Muslims in southern California claimed they have been unfairly targeted because of their religion. Now they are taking on the FBI with a new lawsuit, which they hope exposes violations of the US Constitution.
As American Muslims prepare for prayers, a fear remains that the worshiper next to them may be a spy. This is especially true in Southern California, where paid FBI informants have fractured the cohesiveness of a law abiding community.
Now the American Civil Liberties Union and the Council of American Islamic Relations are teaming up against the FBI suing the agency for what they say is its attempt to incriminate people based simply on where they pray.Something they consider a violation of the US First Amendment freedom of religious worship.
The FBI insists that it does not ask its informants to target people for their religious affiliations.Something Muslims are finding hard to believe.Remember all those cases of fake terrorism, FBI infiltration and entrapment of Muslims... more

Every day in America, 34 people are murdered with guns. We can't accept the flaws in our background check system that lead to these tragic deaths.
As Americans it is our right to possess fire arms.
However, we must prohibit criminals and the mentally unstable from purchasing guns.
Right now, in many States there are no background checks or updated lists of people unfit to carry weapons.
Any adult can buy a gun with no questions asked.
Help protect our Children, loved ones and friends.
Tell Congress to enforce gun laws in all 50 States.
