(Conversation #1)
BARBARA WALTERS: Let’s move it along a little bit. You did make that historic decision to say that you’re in favor of gay marriage. There are 30 states which are not. But there are also federal laws that impinge on the rights of gays. They can’t file a joint income tax report; they don’t have social security that they can pass to each other. Will you now fight for a federal bill that gives the same rights to heterosexuals that the federal bill now does not give to gays?

"Colbert Super PAC has brought in a staggering $1,023,121.24, which my accountant explains to me that is a number far above 'one,' 'two,' 'five,' or even 'many'" said Stephen Colbert, President and Returning Champion of Colbert Super PAC. "We raised it on my show and used it to materially influence the elections – in full accordance with the law. It's the way our founding fathers would have wanted it, if they had founded corporations instead of just a country."

Donald Trump has moved on from the "birther" conspiracy to allege President Barack Obama didn't get good enough grades to warrant entry to Harvard Law School, an assertion that CBS News chief Washington correspondent Bob Schieffer called absurd on the "CBS Evening News" on Wednesday.
"That's just code for saying he got into law school because he's black. This is an ugly strain of racism that's running through this whole thing. We can hope that kind of comes to an end too, but we'll have to see," Schieffer said.
Trump first raised the issue on Monday with the Associated Press, saying: "I heard he was a terrible student, terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard? I'm thinking about it, I'm certainly looking into it. Let him show his records."
As Trump gloats, Obama calls out "carnival barkers"
Obama birth certificate release won't kill "birther" movement
Republicans slam timing of Obama's birth certificate release
In a press conference Wednesday after arriving in the important primary state of New Hampshire, the potential candidate for the 2012 GOP nomination continued to pound on the issue, saying: "The word is, according to what I've have read, is that he was a terrible student when he went to Occidental. He then gets to Columbia and then gets to Harvard. I heard at Columbia he was not a very good student, and then he then he gets into Harvard. How do you get into Harvard if you are not a good student? Maybe that's right, maybe that's wrong, but I don't know why he doesn't he release his records. Why doesn't he release his Occidental records?"
Trump explained the source of his concerns about Mr. Obama's undergraduate education performance. "I am just reporting what I read. Hey, I read stuff that you people write," Trump said in response to a question from a reporter at his press conference on whether he was using innuendo as opposed to facts to attack Mr. Obama.
Trump had said earlier that he raised the "bad grades" question because he had friends with smart kids who couldn't get into Harvard.
Mr. Obama received an undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 1983. (He transferred from Occidental College in 1981.) He then got his Juris doctorate from Harvard Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude in 1999

Alex Jones appears on the view to defend Charlie Sheen and dominates the discussion. Feb 28, 2011.
A masterful job by Alex Jones ) of bringing real issues to main stream corporate sponsored TV. These ladies were clearly tasked with the mission of demonizing Charlie Sheen and making Alex jones look bad in the process. They failed and failed miserably.
Alex Jones clearly out gunned these ladies intellectually. Within approximately 6 minutes Alex cleverly dodged sustain attempts to talk about Charlie Sheen as if he were crazy and out of control. More importantly he was able to inject some real issues and get several things "on record". Things we typically don't like to talk about like 1 million dead Iragis, TSA putting there hands down people's pants, building 7 the (building that fell in New York without being hit by a plane), banks bankrupting the US, things of real importance. Which are now on record.

Two co-hags on ABC’s “The View” walked out on Bill O’Reilly because he had the nerve to say that Muslims perpetrated the 9/11 attacks. But don’t worry. His “nerve” was short-lived, because he quickly apologized to Muslims and the co-hags, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg, returned upon his moronic apology. Goldberg, returned upon his moronic apology. It’s Must Watch Moron TV. Dude, WHERE. ARE. YOUR. TESTICLES?
This is a great example of why American women (and gay men) who watch daytime TV have minds of mush. O’Reilly spoke of the (two-blocks-from) Ground Zero mosque and his opposition to it. He said that Muslims perpetrated the 9/11 attacks, and Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar went ballistic. They and Baba Wawa denied that it was Muslims, and they walked off the set live. Faux-conservative rodent and airhead Elisabeth Hasselbeck then whined about how there are equal amounts of terrorists across all religions, and why can’t we just call them terrorists and we won’t have this problem?” But, then, Bill O’Reilly APOLOGIZED to Muslims, saying he didn’t mean it and that it wasn’t Muslims who did 9/11, but just a few radicals.
The whole scenario was nauseating.
Oh, and one last thing, about who did 9/11: They were Wiccans from Fiji.
Whoopi Goldberg a/k/a Caryn Johnson gets upset when people tell the truth about Muslims perpetrating 9/11, but defends Helen Thomas’ anti-Semitic comments and Mel Gibson’s abuse and Roman Polanski’s rape of a 13-year-old. Remind me again why it’s accpetable that she mockingly stole a Jewish surname for showbiz. Two co-hags on ABC’s “The View” walked out on Bill O’Reilly... more
