Armed to the teeth, millions of able body long term unemployed are headed for Washington D.C.

After news of the Jobs bill submitted by Republicans in the U.S. Senate was nothing but Tax cuts and deregulation today, hundreds of unemployed leaders of groups have decided nothing is being accomplished by protests now on going for four weeks. Several of the leaders were contacted by phone and many of them are on the same page. One in particular said we can use his name because he is not afraid to die rather then seeing his family living in a car anymore. Tom Wise (Wouldn't disclose his location) said enough is enough, I've been unemployed or under employed for three years now and the Rich just don't care about us anymore. Tom who has had plenty of time on his hands over this period of time to form a volunteer group of over 500 able bodied men and women itching for a real fight with the powers that be. Tom is just one of a network of American Patriotic leaders stretched over the entire country mobilizing this week for what they call the second American Revolution. In another encampment in a undisclosed National Forrest, Bob Sutter got word from a national movement officer that it appears we are on the move. Bob a former Special Forces Officer has remained in touch with countless Veterans also in dire straights and out of work with no future to look forward too. They shipped my job along with the factory overseas and he can smell how rotten the political scene has become. When the people are no longer represented in D.C. it is time to march! Chris Mellon an Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran agreed with Bob, it's now or never. The people who have remained patient with their non-violent protest all over the country are appreciated but Chris said he knows for a fact nothing is being accomplished except wasting time. For the safety of the people involved with this march, this reporter has agreed not to disclose any further details. I can tell you though, these folks are armed to the teeth and very focused on what needs to be done. Time is running out, these folks are serious!

Occupied America

In a nation where problem's are resolved on TV programs within a thirty to sixty minute time frame and products that can cure everything from hair loss to relationship problems are marketed to people who have become so impatient that they can't wait for a meal longer than it takes for the person at the drive through to hand them their order it's no wonder that the initial response to the Occupy Wall Street movement has been one of confusion. The fact that there are so many people with so many different issues and no quick answers has led some to the conclusion that the lack of structure and a recognizable leader is a sign of weakness. Others have gone as far as to dismiss the movement by resorting to cliches about protestors rooted in what they perceive were the more destructive aspects of the activism of the 1960's. The truth is that the shear volume of issues in itself is reason enough for the protest. People have become fed up with not having a say in how their lives and their Country are run. The majority of people do not want handouts. What they do want is an equal opportunity to live and be as productive as they can. When 99% of American citizens are forced to pay more of their income in taxes than the 1% who pay little to none of theirs is it any wonder people are enraged? The image of the protestors as pot smoking hippies who want everything handed to them may be a convenient talking point but it couldn't be further from the truth. It is a Peoples protest and despite what some in power or the media may think it is not something that will go away just because the weather starts to turn bad or they stop talking about it. It may appear to be chaotic and disorganized on the surface but at it's root it is the reason this nation works. Whenever Politicians and self serving Business People have lost track of who and what we are as a nation it is in our best interest to remind them in the loudest and most creative ways we know how. Democracy is chaotic and loud and creative and far better than any of the alternatives. 6 Reasons Why Occupy Wall Street Protests Won't Help Democrats

Can the Occupy Wall Street movement do for the Democrats what the Tea Party has done for the Republicans? Will a spontaneous grass-roots uprising against the rich neutralize the manipulated “Astroturf” Tea Party movement’s assault on big government, assure a second term for Barack Obama and lead to the new New Deal that progressives have been waiting for?

Alas, probably not. Ever since Richard Nixon won his reelection victory in 1972 by appealing to many of the discontented populists attracted to George Wallace, the Republican Party, formerly a party of big city boardroom types and small-town Rotarians, has been based at least in its rhetoric on right-wing populism. The Tea Party movement is merely an extreme exaggeration of the mainstream GOP.

But the Democrats since George McGovern captured the party’s presidential nomination in the same fateful year of 1972 have been the opposite of a left-wing populist party. Thus while right-wing populism reinforces the existing Republican story about America, any genuine left-wing populism would challenge the basic constituencies and values of the McGovern-to-Obama Democrats. There are six reasons in particular why Democrats are unlikely to benefit as much from populism as Republicans.

Reason No. 1: The Democrats depend on Wall Street for campaign donations.

Both national parties are captured to a large degree by financial industry contributors. But this is not as much of a problem for the Republicans as for the Democrats. Since Nixon, the Republicans have successfully channeled anger away from Big Money to Big Government. They have done so by manipulating the classic populist paradigm of producers vs. parasites. They have treated private sector workers, business owners and investors as allies in a common struggle of producers against parasitic public sector employees and poor people dependent on welfare.

To counteract this powerful neo-Jacksonian narrative, the Democrats would have to be equally pungent in their criticism of plutocratic bankers and overpaid CEOs. But how can President Obama and Democrats in Congress wave pitchforks at Wall Street while engaging in Wall Street fundraisers for their 2012 campaigns?

Barack Obama, who went without federal matching funds in 2008 so that he would be free to shovel in unlimited amounts of big money, is a particularly unlikely critic of Wall Street. In 2008, if professors at universities are not counted, the top institutional donors to the Obama campaign were Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup and Time Warner.

Obama’s 2008 campaign looks less like William Jennings Bryan’s outsider challenge than like William McKinley’s successful fundraising in 1896 from the banking and corporate elite.

Reason No. 2: The Democrats rely increasingly for votes on elite professionals.

Having lost the white working class to the Republicans decades ago, Democrats have had some success in winning over upscale white professionals with liberal attitudes on social issues and the environment. But identification with the professional-class minority poses as many problems for would-be Democratic populists as does the party’s reliance on the financial sector.

The majority of Americans do not go to college and are not likely to be inspired by the elite progressive vision of a society where anyone with high test scores can study until his or her 30s, earn an expensive credential, and then get an interesting and fulfilling office job. The populist ideal is the horny-handed son of toil who can fix a car engine, not the meritocratic nerd who could flourish in a lightning round on “Jeopardy.”

Wall St. office cleaners join march for better jobs

Hundreds of office cleaners and guards marched on Wednesday near Wall Street demanding good jobs and protesting economic inequality, while a smaller group of demonstrators rallied at JPMorgan Chase's skyscraper.

The marches were part of a growing Occupy Wall Street movement, the month-long protests that have inspired solidarity rallies planned for Thursday at some 90 U.S. college campuses. Demonstrations have occurred in more than 1,400 cities around the world.

The movement began on Sept. 17, when protesters set up camp in a park near Wall Street in Lower Manhattan, upset that the billions of dollars in bank bailouts doled out during the recession allowed them to resume earning huge profits while average Americans have had no relief from high unemployment and job insecurity.

Participants also say they are angry that the richest 1 percent of Americans do not pay their fair share of taxes.

More than 750 cleaners, security guards and other building service workers converged on the financial district to march for better-paying jobs, while at a nearby rally outside a JPMorgan Chase skyscraper police said about 100 people simply walked around the building and then returned to their camp in the park.

Police said they arrested four people at the bank building.

Barricades had been placed outside the JPMorgan Chase building in preparation for the protest, and many police officers stood on duty.

The building service workers union, the Service Employees International Union, which organized the march, said contracts for tens of thousands of workers are about to expire.

"We're out here because there's no jobs and we're about to lose our jobs. We're tired and we're fed up and we need these people in here to hear us," said Carla Thomas, 47, a building security guard, gesturing toward Wall Street.

At a rally in San Francisco, 11 protesters were arrested on Wednesday when up to 200 people demonstrated at the Wells Fargo corporate headquarters, blocking entrances and sticking posters on the building, one which read: "My bank went to bail-out land and all I got was a lousy recession."Hundreds of office cleaners and guards marched on Wednesday near Wall Street demanding... more

Victoria Jackson Goes To Occupy Wall Street, Enflames Protestors

Former "Saturday Night Live" actress, conservative columnist and avowed enemy of both "Glee" and gay people, Victoria Jackson took a video camera to the Occupy Wall Street protests in New York City, predictably trying to enflame the supporters camped out in Zuccotti Park.

She dove right into her particular brand of hateful commentary early, pointing out Ground Zero from her car window and saying "some Muslims flew in to" the Twin Towers.

Once Jackson got down to the protests, she began interviewing both the protestors and those that happened to be passing by. She began by asking what they were protesting, then seizing on their responses. She often brought up President Obama's connection to GE, calling him a Marxist and socialist.

"Right now, 50% of people pay taxes and 50% do not. So if everyone gets free stuff who is going to pay for it?" she asked one protestor, who said the government "should end the wars and tax the super rich" to end the deficit. Her response? "Class warfare is Marxist."

Continuing her argument with the same protestor, she said, "If you want everyone to be equal, how are you going to make them equal in good looks and smart brains? Everyone's not created equal." She later called Van Jones a communist, and then said, "So you don't think Obama is stirring up racial and class warfare and its straight out of Rules for Radicals written by Saul Alinsky?"

Then she brought out Jeremiah Wright, devolving into the old anti-Obama arguments.

Glenn Beck recently spoke about the protestors, telling his listeners, "Capitalists, if you think that you can play footsies with these people, you're wrong. They will come for you and drag you into the streets and kill you...they're Marxist radicals...these guys are worse than Robespierre from the French Revolution...they'll kill everybody."

Jackson is known for her provocative conservative statements; in May, she wrote a column slamming "Glee" and made TV appearances hitting out at the show for its inclusion of gay people in its story lines.

"They should have a celibacy campaign and tell kids that 50% of teenagers now have this new STD from oral sex, that's what they should try to be doing instead of making kids gay," the former actress said on Showbiz Tonight. "I just want to know why the liberals are pro-muslim and pro-gays. Muslims kill gays. That's what's confusing to me.
