After his first single 'Infected', acclaimed by the indie press and international DJs, David Shaw and The Beat comes back and introduces 'The Jackal', another song from the future album. This time more original, behind a cold sequence and a broken piano, David Shaw sings a shadowy, fervent blues.
The original song is beautifully reinterpreted by two strong remixes: our favourite italian producer, Massimiliano Pagliara, shares his magic touch and delivers a sensual hypnotic version of the song. ‘NESMETAL’ is Johnathan Godbolt. He was born in the fall of 1982 on October 18th. He currently lives on the east coast of the united states. “I’ve always loved old Nintendo music,” says Johnathan, “and I’ve always loved the more extreme side of music. As a kid I always listened to more hard rock than anything, as of course what my parents permitted at that young age. Growing up with bands like Petra, and Stryper paved the way nicely for crossing over into the faster, more technical genres of metal, as well as creating an open mind towards the classic/progressive rock styles.” Videogame music (both classic era, and present) helped in filling in just about every other style of music there is. The city of Tiumen' in southern Siberia is located more than 1,300 miles from the Russian capital. It is also, on a less celebrated level, home to the youthful glitch-hop practitioner known as Koin Nockio. In other related venues, he sometimes adopts the equally mysterious identity of "Konstantin Chyo" (his real surname, however, appears to be Bolotnikov). Partially responsible for the workings of a Siberian dubstep label, Nockio has been authoring his own music for the last three years. Kamikaze Deadboy was born in 1987 and starting listening to music at the age of 11. Originally getting into the punk rock lifestyle after my mother played him her Sex Pistols records, I would later start listening to other rock bands. After I was socially rejected by my peers for listening to too many unknown unpopular bands, I later picked up Atari Teenage Riot album Delete Yourself out of interest.
