Current Radio News presents, "What is on Top?"
I am starting this new topic and media project because I have seen over and over again people's memories and focus drifting away from what is real relevant to their lives and the management of the internal affairs of this Country.
-How possible it is for Humans to develop a System that
Values and Respects Human Life in opposed to the actual system of debt and deception of Today's economy?
-The Cost of Media Manipulation and Denial
-The hard job of separating media propaganda and the reality of facts
-Does the World International conflicts distracts USA from resolving its internal affairs?
-The Cost of War in Iraq
-The Economy
-Why US economy crashed?
-Food
-Water
-Health Care- Paid Debt Health Care or Credit Investment Health Care?
-Education- Paid Debt Education or Credit Investment Education?
-Housing
-Transportation- Clean, quiet and technologically advanced transportation or any type of transportation?
-How jobs and income cycles the Economy?
-Local Issues and Media Denials by Maximization and Minimization of Issues.
-Does income and location affects human perceptions?
-How Pollution affects Everyone's Life in all levels of Society?
-Wrong business and technology using Machines to abuse Humans
-Local, National and Global Security
-Any Energy or Clean Energy?
-Wrong ideas, wrong people, wrong technology, wrong jobs, wrong business equals to chaos and the destruction of life and society as we know it. Our biggest example of that today it is the USA Vehicle and Transportation Industry.
Remember, building an economy in the the same system of debt will generate economic slavery in the end. Think about it!
You are welcome to submit your own issue if you feel I have missed something here.
I will make sure to include on the list if it is relevant to the theme.
***Please, do expect lots of editing and change on the topics ahead. Thanks!Current Radio News presents, "What is on Top?"

The truth about Obama's campaign - it's bigger than corporate media tells you. And, remember, 'Obama the politician' is as much a product of our frustration and dissatisfaction with politics in this country as himself.

Love him or hate (most of us Love him) - it's We The People who decide, and it's We The People who set the mandate for our next President - so don't waste your time crying about Hillary or mccain - focus your attention on your ability and responsibility to tell the next President what's up - and what he / she needs to do for US!
This is for real - tell whoever the next President is - what's up and what you want! Don't sit back and say 'yes sir' or 'no sir'.

Recently, while in Santa Monica, CA I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Los Angeles kindergarten teacher Aquarelle Emery about her experience and motivation to participate in the 'Longest Walk 2008" - checkout what she has to say.
Aquarelle, participants and organizers of the 'Longest Walk' illustrate the immense ground swell of interest, involvement - activism of the American people in the political process and this years Presidential election.
A week or so after I met Aquarelle, she returned to the 'Longest Walk' and should be in Washington D.C. now.
PS - Aquarelle is not only an Obama supporter, but has a tremendous voice. At the end of the vid Aquarelle gives us a little teaser of her incredible voice.
Comments on my vid are welcome.Recently, while in Santa Monica, CA I had the pleasure of meeting and interviewing Los... more

"Looking to honor the forty-third President of the United States of America, George W. Bush, the recently formed Presidential Memorial Commission of San Francisco is looking to change the name of the Oceanside Wastewater Treatment Facility. It seems the group would like to rename the SF Zoo adjacent facility to the 'George W Bush Sewage Plant,' SFist reports.
The grassroots movement is "proposing an ordinance initiative for the November 2008 San Francisco ballot" -- check out their website here: http://presidentialmemorial.wordpress.com/

"There is growing evidence of falling sperm counts, an increase in the incidence of testicular cancer, and increase in the numbers of boys being born with abnormalities of their reproductive system. It has been speculated that these phenomena have been caused by endocrine disrupters - substances mimicking oestrogens or acting in other ways. This is discussed with special reference to environmental health and occupational hygiene implications."
Think corporations, their board members, CEOs or stockholders care about you? Guess again.
Why isn't our government doing it's job and protecting it's citizens and the world?

Opening statements on the website read:
"This is no opinion piece. Rather it is a collection of buried, but undeniable facts, events, and quotes which, when assembled in one place, will state their own conclusions. In putting together this research in a logical and sequential format, great care was taken to confirm and double confirm every piece of information. Any and all questionable data which could not be independently verified to this author's satisfaction was discarded. Taken individually, each story, quote and event may not amount to a full case. But when taken collectively, this mountain of facts should hammer home the truth to even the most skeptical reader. There are of course those who have fallen under the hypnotic spell of the TV talking-heads and "experts" whom they worship as authority figures. Unaccustomed to thinking for themselves, no amount of truth can sway them from their preconceived prejudices. They will even deny that which they see with their own eyes."
I am not against Jews or the state of Israel. Extremism from any source is a threat to us all. Tell me what you think about all this.Opening statements on the website read:

"Monsanto already dominates America’s food chain with its genetically modified seeds. Now it has targeted milk production. Just as frightening as the corporation’s tactics–ruthless legal battles against small farmers–is its decades-long history of toxic contamination."
Read on... http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/features/2008/05/monsanto200805?currentPage=1
We need to end this sort of monopolistic corruption of human existence, and we need to support the small farmers. And although, if you prefer organic foods to this abomination of God's creations for profit, our FBI considers you a possible "terrorist" - it's clear to see they are in bed with Monsanto, grow your own food and put these guys out of business.
There is no reason whatsoever to do this to our food. My God did not get it wrong."Monsanto already dominates America’s food chain with its genetically modified... more

War, death and destruction GOOD; the human body BAD!
Indiana has passed new legislation declaring art work portraying the human body unsuitable for humans. Great artist once considered by the vast majority of humanity throughout the ages to posses a "divine gift" such as Michelangelo are now determined to be "PORNOGRAPHERS" in the eyes of the enlightened Indiana legislature. Never mind the work of the "Divine himself".
Next up on the "enlightened'" Indiana State legislature's agenda; a bill to ban all mirrors and "reflective surfaces" for fear "horny" sexual deviates might view themselves; become uncontrollably aroused; and violate themselves - oh, and children of course.
"Even seemingly innocent reflective surfaces can be turned into "PORNOGRAPHIC" paraphernalia such as car side and rear view mirrors, shiny cook wear, CD jewel cases and even patent leather shoes" excitedly exclaimed one erect 'member' of the Indianan legislature.

"On March 11 a new documentary was aired on French television. It is a documentary most Americans will never see, explaining how the gigantic biotech corporation Monsanto is threatening to destroy the agricultural biodiversity which has served mankind for thousands of years.
For millennia, farmers have saved seeds from season to season. But when Monsanto developed GM seeds that would resist its own herbicide, Roundup, Monsanto patented the seeds. For nearly all of its history the United States Patent and Trademark Office refused to grant patents on seeds, viewing them as life-forms with too many variables to be patented. But in 1980 the U.S. Supreme Court allowed for seed patents in a five-to-four decision, laying the groundwork for a handful of corporations to begin taking control of the world’s food supply."

This pod may disturb our romantic notions of rural life. In the West we love the countryside and 'getting away from it all' yet in Ghana, we learn that many would rather live in an urban shanty town than stay stuck in subsistence life in rural areas. Subsistence life means mud huts and mind-numbing toil. Helen wants a proper job, Cephus wants his kids to be doctors and lawyers. De Roy explains that at least in a shanty town people can have access to a clinic, menial work, electricity, drinkable water, paved roads and TVs. **This film is now the revised version of Cash Back that we have made based on some of the great comments and suggestions below**
Shot in Brick Lane in the heart of London's East End, this film reveals the extent of remittances. This is money sent by migrants and Diasporas to friends, families and villages in some of the world's poorest countries. They don't wear their heart on their sleeve or a wristband to show they care and they go on sending money when the shocking TV images have faded. Remittances outstrip aid and foreign direct investment for many developing countries. There are no strings attached and as the film suggests, remittances better represent the aspirations of our peers globally than much of contemporary charitable giving and celebrity pleading to buy a hoe or a goat.**This film is now the revised version of Cash Back that we have made based on some of... more

Check out this article - doctors are seeking a low-cost alternative to IVF treatment for infertility for use in Africa. This seems low priority in a continent where many areas are war-torn and day-to-day life is a struggle to keep your head above water. But stigma surrounding the inability to have children is acutely alienating in many regions, often leaving women affected cast out of communities and unable to marry - which is often essential to get by. Should we be seeking low-cost treatment for infertility or focusing our resources on more immediate issues?
