Undeniably awesome in concept: MIT design/math superstar John Maeda wrote code to generate the patterns on the sides of these Reeboks. And then the algorithms are PRINTED ON THE INSIDE OF THE SHOES. Cool idea.

About 3 years ago, I attended a nerdy Flash conference in Toronto where a Japanese designer (can't remember his name) presented a data visualization module he created with Flash, called Amaztype. I was blown away.
Amaztype, a typographic book search, collects the information from Amazon and presents it in the form of keyword youve provided. To get more information about a given book, simply click on it.
