Oh My God, This Week Was For The Win: Week 30
Luke Brown brings you the best, worst, and most random news stories of last week.
Australia didn't quite get the message last week so they've stepped back into the ring with Luke for Round Two. Apparently, they've found something else to ban.
The undercard is a tag-team match from Japan. Capcom and Sony each bring you something you never asked for. What service!
I'm sure our world tour will continue next week as well. I suspect it's the European Union's turn to generate some bullshittery. But who knows..Oh My God, This Week Was For The Win: Week 30

Rocktober is in full swing, with the year’s selection of basketball titles dribbling into stores this week. Brutally hard PS3 exclusive Demon’s Souls is also finally available in North America, as well as Afrika, which has been out in other parts of the world for a good long time. If you want to preemptively attack those holiday pounds, Wii Fit Plus can help you out; if you would rather have nightmares, SAW and Obscure: The Aftermath will do the trick. Oh, and there’s a new game from that little-known niche franchise, Star Wars.Rocktober is in full swing, with the year’s selection of basketball titles dribbling... more
As September wraps up, we have a week where the most exciting new releases are on the Wii and handheld systems. No, seriously. Dead Space: Extraction is looking pretty good, I'm very intrigued by The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road, and though I don't love the series, I know racing fans must be peeing their pants over Gran Turismo and MotorStorm: Arctic Edge on the PSP. Speaking of the PSP, the PSPgo launched this week, which should be a really big deal for Sony. Unfortunately, they seem to be going about this new version of their handheld in the lamest way possible, so I'm pretty tempted to ignore it entirely. As September wraps up, we have a week where the most exciting new releases are on the... more

Pete Molinari's a kid from an Italian-Maltese-Egyptian family that was raised on the Medway Delta in the UK. He recorded this EP in Nashville with Chris Scruggs (Earl's grandson) and the Jordanaires, Elvis's gospel singers (yeah, they're still alive and kickin' and sounding great).
The EP is pretty damn cheap for such quality music, so the great recession ain't a good enough excuse not to get it.

I was on cnn.com/live again this morning talking about new releases and trying not to mispronounce any British slang. (Mispronouncing American words is a given). The segment was around the same length as usual, but my coffee was much larger, and I felt like there was a lot I didn’t get to say, so here are the extended liner notes:

I did the cnn.com/live thing again today and put every ounce of energy I have into not saying any of my favorite words while discussing that damn new Hannah Montana album. It was exhausting. However, here’s the stuff you should go buy right now:
