A couple of weeks ago New York rap artist "Bruse Wane" Allegedly received a head nod from Jay-Z in an interview with Canadian megasite much music.com. Since then Jay-Z has become embroiled with a battle of sorts with rappers Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent. Well according to Wane Enterprises "Bruse Wane" has managed to attract the attention of a much more menacing foe. Uncle Sam. How many views on you-tube does it take to get the attention of the feds; in Bruse's case 39,000 plus apparently. That and a controversial video for the song "Dun Da Lye" Bruse states he initially received a message from youtube inquiring about certain images that appeared in the video.

Far from a Jay-Z Clone. "Wane" Delivers a mixture of streetwise and thought provoking lyrics instead of primarily focusing on glitz and material access. "Bruse" alleges that a few days later he was payed a visit by two men claiming they were with homeland security. "They asked me some general questions, but seem to put serious emphasis on my religious beliefs and political stance. I was like wow WTF. I was on radar; I noticed some strange noise's on my cell phone before this but thought nothing of it. Now I watch everything I say on the horn.

I proceeded to ask "Bruse" the following. Why put this out there, do you think this is wise, why not lay low. With a stern face he replied "I thought about falling back and being easy, but I aint do nothing wrong. This is a freedom of speech issue that needs to be recognized." "Why lay low every-time something like this goes unnoticed it makes it that much easier for them to continue to do sh#% like this." The Song "Dun Da Lye" is off Bruse's current release "The Dark Knight Ep - Return To Hip-Hops Golden Era". The Video For "Dun Da Lye" is set and themed in the mid 90's regarded as part of Hip-hop's now revered " Golden Era"; With Bruse utilizing a Golden era type flow.

ALLHIPHOP Gets Moist Over Jay-Z Article

In an arena where they are known for reporting late breaking Hip-Hop news and issuing criticism ALLHIPHOP.COM seems to be wearing their emotions on their sleeves. "Wane Enterprises" freelance writer "Unspoken Truth" recently did an exclusive editorial article on the "Jay-Z & Beanie Sigel" incident were he questioned some of the media's handling of the situation; Specifically naming AllHIPHOP. Almost Immediately after it appeared in their forums he noticed his AllHipHop account was suspended. What happen to freedom of thought and speech isn't this Hip-Hop. Has Jay-Z become bigger than hip-hop, and beyond approach. Recently former rocafella artist Beanie Sigel made some very strong accusations against Jay-Z in the diss record "What you talking bout .. I'm not your average Cat". This particular incident had all the blogs and major hip-hop websites buzzing, was Jay-Z's number final up..NO. It seemed instead to be a case of too little to late despite Beanie Sigel's stark and poignant allegations. Did Jay-Z respond to Sigel besides the interview where he stated Beanie Sigel had two Bentley's a record label and clothing line, No he did not instead he comes out not to long after at a U2 Concert. For those of you that don't know U2 is one of Rock's Mega Bands,it pretty much does not get bigger than them. What up Bono. This further Demonstrated the fact That Jay-Z has become a confirmed international icon.

Instead of applying pressure to Jay-Z to respond to Sigel, a blatant demonstration of either hypocrisy or prejudicious journalism was made on the part of AllHipHop.com which ran the Beanie story; and days later had a piece on Jay-Z entitled "He Came He Saw He Conquered". Thus Demonstrating main stream Hip-Hop media trying to aid Jay-Z brush the Beanie Sigel incident under the rug. Will Jay-Z respond to Beanie Sigel on Wax. That remains to be seen, but the said truth is he does not have to. Here is the "reality check" people. Jay-Z has transcended the culture and people that consider themselves real heads and live by certain code of ethics no longer count in this ever growing montage of global Hip-Hop. If Sigel would have got at Jay-Z during the whole Dynasty era or during the first blue print. Jay would have some serious issues, and had to respond. Jay-z is fully aware of his larger than Hip-Hop status and the fact true hip-hop heads are actually not responsible for the majority or records sales. "More reality check"

Amid illuminati accusation ties and a whole host of accusations Jay-Z keeps rolling on by responding to all of these things with this method, ignore, ignore, ignore. Well hopefully 50 cent signs Sigel to G-unit he needs it, and Sigel is a nice emcee. It is a sad day when the grass roots tried and true hip-hop fans no longer count and the very basis and foundation the culture was founded on is tossed out the window. Does Jay-Z Still respect the culture,or just the almighty dollar. Stop ignoring us Jay.
