I'd try to put a better description up here, but I'm a bit baffled by this incredible fan letter that was sent to Latino Review. The subject? The Wolfman ripped off Twilight.
It's no dirty secret that Twilight fans are nuttier than peanut brittle, but they are people too. And people, when chock full of nuts, can be unintentionally hilarious when venting their opinions.
Curiously, this young--I'm assuming here--fan sent her gripe to Latino Review's El Guapo. Which, on the grand scale of sending angry letters about film franchises, is like sending me a complaint that Fireball didn't make sense because gas can only burn for so long.
Regardless of asking why, what's done is done. And here's why:
To whom this may concern: This movie was a complete waste and I feel that it offends ALL Twilight Fans around the world, that including myself. For one, it was a COMPLETE remaking of the Wolf Pack from the Twilight Saga: New Moon. It gives the werewolves a bad name and makes them look like some deformed mutation of a rabid dog. I actually started to like werewolves after seeing Jacob Black and all his awesomeness on the big screen at the movies. That was until I saw your crappy remake of what you call to be a "were wolf".
Oh it gets so much better.
I don't see how you live with yourself for making it the way you did. If I made this movie, I would be ashamed to even admit that I owned it. How can a werewolf be killed with a silver bullet? Better yet, have you saw the transformation of the man that is "supposed" to be the wolf? He sits in some chair and his entire body turns in to some mutated freak. If you would watch the transformation of Jacob Black, (Taylor Lautner) he doesn't come close to looking as fake, cheap and or mutated as the wolf man. You tell me, who looks to be the better werewolf.
I highly recommend you read the rest of the open letter, including a movie poster comparison that will sort this mess out once and for all.

The director of two films in the epic Bourne series, Paul Greengrass, has walked away from directing the fourth installment in the franchise and it's reported that it's due to his disatisfaction with another writer being brought in to "rewrite the original script".
Greengrass has issued a statement and it doesn't really give much away, other than things are apparently friendly with him and Universal Pictures still.
“You won’t find a more devoted supporter of the Bourne franchise than me. I will always be grateful to have been the caretaker to Jason Bourne over the course of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. I’m very proud of those films and feel they express everything I most passionately believe about the possibility of making quality movies in the mainstream. My decision to not return a third time as director is simply about feeling the call for a different challenge. There’s been no disagreement with Universal Pictures. The opportunity to work with the Bourne family again is a difficult thing to pass up, but we have discussed this together and they have been incredibly understanding and supportive. I’ve been lucky enough to have made four films for Universal, and our relationship continues. Jason Bourne existed before me and will continue, and I hope to remain involved in some capacity as the series moves on.”

LOS ANGELES, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Universal Pictures on Monday ousted Chairmen Marc Shmuger and David Linde after recent box office flops, including big-budget comedy "Land of the Lost," replacing the pair with their marketing and production chiefs.
Universal's marketing head Adam Fogelson will now serve as chairman of the movie studio, and film production president Donna Langley will be co-chairman, reporting to Fogelson, Universal said in a statement.
"Adam is a natural leader with a unique ability to anticipate our audience, understand our business and collaborate with our filmmakers to give us a competitive advantage," said Ron Meyer, president and chief operating officer of Universal Studios, the immediate parent of Universal Pictures.
Fogelson has served as president of marketing and distribution at Universal since October 2007, and he has been with the company since 1998.
Langley has served as president of production at the company since 2005, and Universal said that during that time she has been responsible for 14 films that have each made more than $100 million in the United States and Canada.
Universal said that Rick Finkelstein, who is the vice chairman and chief operating officer of Universal Pictures, will work with Fogelson and Langley as a strategic adviser.
Universal Pictures in recent months has released box office disappointments "Funny People," "Love Happens" and "Land of the Lost," a big budget comedy that made only $62 million at worldwide box offices.
Universal Pictures is part of NBC Universal, which is now 80 percent owned by General Electric Co (GE.N) and 20 percent by Vivendi SA (VIV.PA). According to a source close to the negotiations, GE has been in talks to buy out Vivendi and sell a majority interest in NBC Universal to Comcast Corp (CMCSA.O).LOS ANGELES, Oct 5 (Reuters) - Universal Pictures on Monday ousted Chairmen Marc... more

"Universal Pictures has begun casting for Jurassic Park IV, which is set to start filming in Kauai, Hawaii later this year. Laura Dern confirmed she'll be returning as Dr. Ellie Sattler, though Sam Neill will not be returning. Curious why? Maybe it's because the plot of this one features the government training dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes. No, seriously.
This is what they came up with. It's like a practical joke that's gotten way out of hand. Like Universal Studios was having a pitch meeting and somebody jokingly said, "Let's give the dinosaurs guns." And somebody in charge took him seriously and approved it. Then it just kept going up the chain of command until BAM Jurassic Park IV was born. The only way the plot could get any more ridiculous is if the dinosaurs also talk and wear parachute pants.""Universal Pictures has begun casting for Jurassic Park IV, which is set to start... more
