Bayonetta, the highly anticipated action game from Platinum Games, will release in western markets next January for the PlayStation 3. The game centers on its title character of the same name, and is set in a fictional European city. There seems to be a bit of a craze at the moment for taking consoles and converting them into portable gaming systems. Now is the turn of one of my favourite consoles ever - the Sega Dreamcast:

When I was a kid I used to love this machine. Now some crazy guy has got his hands on the arcade and is planning on making it driveable:
"Designer and gamer Garnet Hertz plans on "installing wheels, motors, and other equipment to turn an OutRun arcade cabinet into an actual running car that renders on-screen what's happening in real life using GPS sensors."
Though the cabinet itself is modeled after a Ferrari Testarossa, it'll be built on top of an EVT America Electric Trike with electric motors."

In this new live action episode of the OSGUI.com Tech Show I show you a demonstration of me playing Sonic the Hedgehog 3 using Genesis Plus Emulator in the Homebrew Channel Hack on my Nintendo Wii.
Genesis Plus is a Sega Genesis emulator.
Wii homebrew refers to the reuse of Nintendo's Wii game console hardware, accessories and software for purposes outside those intended by the manufacturer.
The Sega Mega Drive also known as Genesis is a fourth-generation video game console released in Japan in 1988 and Europe in 1990

Aaron Webber, Assistant Community Manager for Sega of America, just caused thousands of simultaneous geekgasms (can we get a mop in here?) across the country by announcing that Valkyria Chronicles II is indeed coming to these shores.
You may recall that when it the sequel to the cult PlayStation 3 hit was first announced for Japanese release back in July, gamers got a bit of a surprise in that it was bound for the PSP platform instead of a home console. However, fans can rest at ease knowing the same team that created the original Valkyria are helming the follow-up.
