The event happened on Nov. 13, 2010 when a Flash Mob of about 100 surprised unsuspecting shoppers having lunch at the Welland Seaway Mall in Niagara Falls, Canada.

The US network AMC are staging the stunt all across the US and Fox International Channels are doing the same globally (including London).The show airs in the US on October 31st and in the UK and Ireland on November 5th.

LGBT activists gathered at Grand Central Station on Friday night, at 6 p.m., for a Flashmob demonstration called a ''Die-In.'' At the sound of the whistle, activists dropped to the floor in a demonstration of death -- to symbolise the rash of recent bullying, torture, suicides, and murders of LGBT Americans.
Although the demonstration was meant to be peaceful, the Bloomberg administration dispatched teams of NYPD and other security. Cops were seen carrying riot gear, such as plastic hand cuffs, in case they chose to make indiscriminate mass arrests, like they did during the Republican National Convention in 2004.

TIMES SQUARE, NYC. SEPT. 12, 2010. 100 DANCERS, 10,000 UNEXPECTING PARTICIPANTS. 100 women dressed in HUE Leggings ran through NYC's Times Square and took over the stage for Broadway on Broadway, an annual free concert. Event host Kelsey Grammer was interrupted mid-monlogue by two male dancers in leggings drag, who escorted him off stage to make way for the all-girl Flash Mob. Set to a hot track called "Fuel," the dancers ignited the audience of thousands, who grabbed fedoras tossed into the crowd and joined in the final moves. The HUE Leggings Flash Mob was a benefit performance for Broadway Cares.

Some lovely pictures on Laughing Squid of a Improv Everywhere event where a flash mob appeared dressed for a fancy black tie event. The blog for Imrpov said the video of the event will be online (and likely going viral) in a couple of weeks.
"For those of you who were not there– we had several hundred agents spend a day at the beach at Coney Island / Brighton Beach wearing black tie attire. TODAY July 31st, The Movement LA, will be hosting a flash mob dance in Serra Park off Olvera St., across from Union Station, at 1:19pm sharp! We will be videotaping* this event to raise awareness about our non- profit organization’s message and to celebrate National Dance Day!
The Movement LA strives to empower disadvantaged, at- risk youth to creatively express themselves through the exploration of the art, music, dance and ...culture of House.
The freestyle dance flash mob will start at 1:19pm sharp, be there early if you like but don’t be late if you want to be on video! It will only last for one 7 minute long track so it’s very important to be prompt to be included in this event!
We will be having special surprise DJ's spin afterward so we can keep on grooving while you mingle with members of The Movement and ENTER TO WIN 2 Legoland tickets!
