According to an IBN report (the Indian version of CNN), a doctor has developed an enzyme that can attack and destroy HIV and the parts of cells it has infected in 3 months in a laboratory setting.
A cure for HIV based on this enzyme is still years away (we're talking 5-20) because the drug still has to go through further research and testing, but then hopefully, it'll make it to development.
