Robert Knipstrom of British Columbia was tasered by Vancouver police for acting erratically inside of a store.
Officers used 'non-lethal' pepper spray, batons, and tasers on the man, who has died after four days in the hospital.
This is the third taser related death in recent weeks.

Ever since Robert Dziekanski, a 40 year old Polish man, was tasered to death at a Canadian airport, taser manufacturers have been on the defensive. Then last week a video was released showing the man moments before his death. Taser International, the largest supplier of tasers to police forces, released a statement saying that tasers are often not to blamed for these deaths and there were outside factors involved. Hmmm. Well 5 days have passed and three people have died in New Mexico, Florida and Maryland.
I agree with the writer that these deaths are probably due to error by the policemen using the guns. All the more reason to take it out of their hands.Ever since Robert Dziekanski, a 40 year old Polish man, was tasered to death at a... more

"An eyewitness' video recording of Robert Dziekanski dying after being stunned with a Taser by police on Oct. 14 at Vancouver International Airport.
One officer is heard to say, "Hit him again. Hit him again."
http://www.cbc.ca/canada/british-colu...
"Dziekanski arrived at Vancouver International Airport as a would-be immigrant about 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 a Saturday. Between the primary customs post and the secondary checkpoint, he went missing.
He apparently sat forlornly near the baggage carousel not understanding what he should do or where he should go until about 10:30 when he finally found his way to the second customs post.
After this second interview with border officers he was cleared to enter Canada, but remained in the secure arrivals area until about 1:15 a.m. when he became agitated."

Police officers shot and killed a 18-year-old man/boy they believed to be armed, in New York. However, the man/boy was only hiding a hairbrush under his shirt.
There is a 911 call that records the boy/man as saying "I've got a gun." Further, the boy refused to stop, when asked by the police, and continued to approach police with the hidden brush under his shirt. Then they fired 20 shots at him. Wow, 20 shots huh.
When should police be able to shoot at you? If they have a reasonable belief that you have a gun, then is it okay? Should they have to see the gun first? Police officers shot and killed a 18-year-old man/boy they believed to be armed, in... more

This 16 year old black girl was assaulted after dropping cake on the floor by one of the white security officers at her school. Her wrist was broken cause she dropped a piece of birthday cake on the floor! Do you know what happened to the security officer? Nothing. What happened to the student? She was suspended from school and is being charged with crimes including littering! Her mother was arrested for apparently being aggressive towards the vice prinicipal but the security guard who broke the little girl's arm was not. This is so outrageous. First the Jena 6, then the Megan Williams now this!!! The world has officially gone crazy and the worst part 90% of the media is controlled by people with the same racist ideaology. I was watching CNN the other day and there was a story on about some baseball player signing a kids baseball cap "Yankees suck" but I did not see a damn thing about Megan Williams because America doesnt want to know about a group of good ol Ameican white boys gang raping a young black single mother....and they say that racism is dead. Watch Current TV you might learn something about the real world the doesn't include baseball signatures and Mississippi bake offs. This 16 year old black girl was assaulted after dropping cake on the floor by one of... more

With Beijing pouring controversial investments into Africa -- and preparing to host the 2008 Summer Olympics -- you'd think officialdom would want to avoid incidents perceived to have racist and repressive overtones. Like rounding up dozens of black men -- reportedly including the son of a Caribbean ambassador -- and beating many of them in public during a drug raid. The streets of New York City have certainly witnessed its share of acts of civil disobedience, violence and rebellion. Dating back as far as the Draft Riots of 1863, very often, the disenfranchised would take to the streets when opposing the governments unfair policies and practices. Eight years ago when an unarmed African immigrant by the name of Amadou Diallo was shot at 41 times (hit 19 times) by 4 New York City Police Officers, the people took to the streets charging the NYPD with police brutality. Over the next two years that followed, a series of marches and protests was set into motion that would forever change the lives of New Yorkers. At its conceptual root, spearheaded by Rev Al Sharpton and the National Action Network, was the march for justice for Diallo. However, in the midst of the struggles a new breed of protestor began to emerge. Along the side of the activist stood politicians, students and professors, unions and laborers. The shout of No Justice - No Peace! What do we want? JUSTICE! Now became What do we want??BOOKS! HOUSING! JOBS! Diallos death became a symbol for justice on all fronts. 360 Media recounts this bitter and yet compelling part of New York City history in the upcoming documentary entitled 365 Days of Marching The Amadou Diallo Story DIRECTED, WRITTEN & PRODUCED by Veronica Keitt CO-PRODUCED BY Michael Drake, Ozzie Thompson, Nat Woods, Darryl Stith SPECIAL APPEARANCES by Rev Al Sharpton, Seiko & Kadiatou Diallo, the parents of Amadou Diallo, David N. Dinkins, former NYC Mayor, Charles Rangel, US Congressmen, Rev. Jessie Jackson, Charles Barron, Councilman, Norman Siegel, ACLU Community Leaders, Activists and others ...
