Weeks after an Australian variety show made headlines around the world after a group of white performers donned blackface to perform as the Jackson brothers, Tyra Banks is making headlines herself for turning her latest "America's Next Top Model" candidates bi-racial for a photo shoot.
During Wednesday night's "ANTM" episode on The CW, Tyra took the remaining six young women of Cycle 13 to Hawaii, where she took pictures of the models after they were transformed into different races.

Larry Whitten marched into this northern New Mexico town in late July on a mission: resurrect a failing hotel.
The tough-talking former Marine immediately laid down some new rules. Among them, he forbade the Hispanic workers at the run-down, Southwestern adobe-style hotel from speaking Spanish in his presence (he thought they'd be talking about him), and ordered some to Anglicize their names.
No more Martin (Mahr-TEEN). It was plain-old Martin. No more Marcos. Now it would be Mark.
Whitten's management style had worked for him as he's turned around other distressed hotels he bought in recent years across the country.
The 63-year-old Texan, however, wasn't prepared for what followed.
His rules and his firing of several Hispanic employees angered his employees and many in this liberal enclave of 5,000 residents at the base of the Sangre de Cristo mountains, where the most alternative of lifestyles can find a home and where Spanish language, culture and traditions have a long and revered history.
"I came into this landmine of Anglos versus Spanish versus Mexicans versus Indians versus everybody up here. I'm just doing what I've always done," he says.
Former workers, their relatives and some town residents picketed across the street from the hotel.
"I do feel he's a racist, but he's a racist out of ignorance. "In their lifetimes, they have seen their Christian faith purged from schools their taxes paid for, and mocked in movies and on TV. . . .They have seen trillions of tax dollars go for Great Society programs, but have seen no Great Society, only rising crime, illegitimacy, drug use and dropout rates. . . .

NEW ORLEANS – A white Louisiana justice of the peace said he refused to issue a marriage license to an interracial couple out of concern for any children the couple might have.
Keith Bardwell, justice of the peace in Tangipahoa Parish, says it is his experience that most interracial marriages do not last long.
"I'm not a racist. I just don't believe in mixing the races that way," Bardwell told the Associated Press on Thursday. "I have piles and piles of black friends. They come to my home, I marry them, they use my bathroom. I treat them just like everyone else."
Bardwell said he asks everyone who calls about marriage if they are a mixed race couple. If they are, he does not marry them, he said.
Bardwell said he has discussed the topic with blacks and whites, along with witnessing some interracial marriages. He came to the conclusion that most of black society does not readily accept offspring of such relationships, and neither does white society, he said.
"There is a problem with both groups accepting a child from such a marriage," Bardwell said. "I think those children suffer and I won't help put them through it."
If he did an interracial marriage for one couple, he must do the same for all, he said.
"I try to treat everyone equally," he said.
Beth Humphrey, 30, and 32-year-old Terence McKay, both of Hammond, say they will consult the U.S. Justice Department about filing a discrimination complaint.
Humphrey, an account manager for a marketing firm, said she and McKay, a welder, just returned to Louisiana. She is white and he is black. Why must I constantly be forced to defend my state? Oh yeah, guys like this keep giving us a bad name. Bill Otto, a self described "descendant of Ozark Americans" has come under fire after releasing a rap video on youtube that is critical of president Obama. State democrats claim that the video is racist. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm or deny this claim because the video has been removed from youtube. Regardless, after reading this article I am disgraced that a person of his ineptitude is serving on my State House of Representatives. Here are a few lines from his rap:
"Yo, Barack, my man with the plan. You're laying us low with this czar scam. You promise things would be different. It looks like they are, but worse wasn't the change people voted for. Don't send them Gitmo killers in our backyard. Send them to the Internal Revenue Service so they can get tortured real hard."

Thirty-year-old Beth Humphrey and 32-year-old Terence McKay, both of Hammond, say they will consult the U.S. Justice Department about filing a discrimination complaint.
Humphrey told the newspaper she called Bardwell on Oct. 6 to inquire about getting a marriage license signed. She says Bardwell's wife told her that Bardwell will not sign marriage licenses for interracial couples.
"It is really astonishing and disappointing to see this come up in 2009," said American Civil Liberties Union of Louisiana attorney Katie Schwartzman. "The Supreme Court ruled as far back as 1963 that the government cannot tell people who they can and cannot marry."

Saturday 10 October 2009: The English Defence League (EDL) appeared on the streets of the UK again, this time in Manchester.
Unite Against Fascism (UAF) called a counter protest to what they consider a fascist group with links to the British National Party (BNP) among others.
But, as has been caught on film in their past protests, when EDL supporters chant, "Take your Allah and shove him up your arse", that single line is an offence to every single Muslim on the planet, not just those considered extremists.
Also on Saturday, as with other EDL manifestations, their supporters were caught yet again on film and photograph doing Nazi "seig heil" salutes and chanting racist rermarks like "If you all hate Pakis clap your hands".
Away from the main group EDL supporters clashed with UAF protestors and police. 48 people were arrested. The policing bill for the day was £200,000, employing some 500 officers and plenty of police dogs to keep the two protests apart, which led to several serious bite injuries on protestors of both sides and journalists.
News reports claimed more anti-fascist supporters were on the street than the numbers of EDL, some 1400 anti-fascists and 700 EDL supporters, but from this video it was a close call, with up to 1000 EDL members descending on Piccadilly Gardens by 5pm. Other EDL groups continued to roam the streets where several more clashes with local youths and riot police occurred.
The concern here is the massive increase in EDL supporters since the clashes in Birmingham. From the T-shirts it showed the EDL were willing to travel vast distances to protest - from places like Southampton, Bristol, Arsenal in London and Scotland - and showed the rapid increase in EDL divisions.
Another concern, shown clearly in the interview in this video - young white citizens, due to disillusionment with all other political parties, including the BNP - and the current economic and social ills - they are joining the ranks of the EDL, despite openly admitting there are racist elements in the group.

Abu is a grown up man and a father of two kids lives in Bristol Ct USA and recently he met a young girl whose name is Mary at six flags New England amusement park of Massachusetts . Mary is a medical student and very happy to have a child. She is having a test-tube baby from a medical lab that stores and sells and fertilized human eggs. A long time ago Mary’s grandfather who was also a medical doctor donated the embryo for someone who can have a child and now grand daughter Mary is having her grandfather’s eggs to produce a human child in an educated society.
The moral question is what is the relation between Mary and the child?
There are many donors who passed away but there embryos (eggs) are wetting for buyers to change wisdom of God (Rab) and system of psych. Medical ethics and moral family values are in danger in the United State of America and in the European countries due to lack of wisdom . (Sept. 23) -- The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission issued a finding of probable cause Tuesday that racism was involved in the decision last June by a suburban Philadelphia swim club to revoke privileges of a largely minority day care center.
The commission ordered a civil penalty of a up to $50,000, plus additional monetary damages for humiliation and embarrassment.

Friday 11 September 2009: Far right group the English Defense League (EDL) called a protest along with the Stop Islamisation of Europe (SIOE) outside the new Harrow mosque, North West London, on the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
When the EDL and SIOE supporters did not arrive, some youths in the protest - who, according to local community leaders, were not from Harrow - turned their aggression on the police. And when the police failed to retaliate these same youths then turned on the press, attacking and smashing cameras, and throwing fireworks into groups of photographers.
The photograph above shows some of the main protagonists of the violence. It is interesting to note these few were fully masked in balaclavas, wearing anonymous black clothing and even had hands covered with gloves to avoid skin colour (or tattoos) being detected.

The EDL still claim they are not racist, despite concrete video evidence confirming otherwise.
Saturday 5 September 2009: Far Right group the English Defence League (EDL) returned to Birmingham a month after violent clashes with anti-fascists and locals in August.
The EDL, who claim they are not a racist organisation or linked to the BNP or other fascist groups, attempted to march through Birmingham city centre, but clashes with anti-fascists quickly halted this.
A Birmingham BNP councilor was hit with eggs from the anti-fascist crowd.
Riot police were brought in to contain a large section of the EDL in a pub. But the rear fire exited was not covered, EDL members broke out and hurled bottles at a growing crowd of counter protestors.
The initial clashes caused police to commandeer two buses and remove the EDL and Casuals United from the city centre. 90 arrests were made and the EDL found themselves bused to the neighbouring town of Coventry.
