Ah, Bobby Franklin. Such a loving, warm, empathetic man. First, he wanted to change the phrase “victim” to “accuser” but only in cases of rape, stalking and domestic violence. Coincidentally, women are the most common “victims” of those crimes. Sorry, ALLEGED crimes. Now, Booby…er…Bobby, has introduced a 10-page bill that would criminalize miscarriages. Read it again. Criminalize miscarriages. And make abortion completely illegal in Georgia. Here’s how it would work...... http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/recent-news/38333-dear-republicans-get-your-party-out-of-my-uterusAh, Bobby Franklin. Such a loving, warm, empathetic man. A South Carolina mom has been busted after she gave birth in a stadium bathroom in the middle of a circus performance, then stuffed the newborn boy in the toilet, according to cops. The shivering baby was found gasping for breath some 90 minutes later by cleaning staff credited with saving his life. The 25-year-old married mom, who also has a 4-year-old child and no criminal record, was arrested when she appeared with family members at a police station house.
She has been charged with two counts of felony child abuse and unlawful neglect of a child, and could get 50 years in prison if convicted. "The family is very cooperative," a police spokesman told ABC News. "Their concern is the safety of the child." The baby is in good condition.

She is six weeks pregnant and when she went to the pharmacy to pick up an antibiotic her doctor had prescribed, the pharmacist gave her an abortion drug by mistake.
Mareena Silva might lose her unborn child because of the prescription drug error, which occurred last Thursday.
"I took it because I thought it was mine," Silva said.
Silva said the pharmacist at the Ft. Lupton Safeway gave her the prescription of methotrexate. Methotrexate is used in chemotherapy regimens to treat cancer, but it is also used to terminate early-stage pregnancies.
After she took it, Silva was nauseated.
"I came back and I looked at the bottle and it wasn't my name," she said.
The methotrexate was intended for a 59-year-old woman with the exact same last name as Silva's and a similar first name.
"My doctor immediately told me to try and make myself vomit to see if I could get the medicine to come back up," Silva said.
Silva was then rushed to Platte Valley Medical Center where they gave her charcoal to absorb the drug.
"For all this to happen now is really overwhelming," said Silva. "This is my first child, so it's really difficult to deal with."
When 7NEWS asked, Safeway admitted its pharmacy mixed up prescriptions.
In a statement to 7NEWS, Safeway said, "Safeway's first concern is the health of our patients. When the pharmacist became aware of what happened, he worked with the patient and with her physicians to minimize any possible health consequences to the patient and her unborn child. We have extended our sincere apologies to the customer, and offered to pay any medical expenses incurred as a result of a prescription error. We are also very concerned about how this happened and we are conducting a full and complete investigation. Safeway has pharmacy systems and processes in place to prevent this kind of occurrence. We have a well-earned reputation for reliably and safely filling prescriptions, and we will continue to work diligently to ensure our procedures and policies are being followed at each of our pharmacies."
Silva isn't so convinced.
"Sorry's not going to cut it. I'm going to have to deal with this for a long time," Silva said. "My baby could have deformities. There's a lot that goes with it."
Doctors are checking Silva's bloodwork to make sure her hormone levels are OK. She could miscarry, carry the child to full-term with severe birth defects or she could have a happy, healthy baby.
7NEWS checked and it is common practice at Walgreens and other pharmacies to ask for your address when issuing prescription medication just in case names are similar.

Zyderrious Platt sentenced to life in prison for killing pregnant wife victims brother attacks him in court (Video)33-year-old Zyderrious Platt will spend the rest of his life in prison after being found guilty of murdering his wife, 26-year-old Jilani Platt. It took the jury a matter of an hour and a half to come to a unanimous decision. When they returned to the courtroom around 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, the jury found Platt guilty of felony murder, malice murder, feticide and aggravated assault.
Platt was found guilty of killing his pregnant wife Jilani back in 2009. Throughout the trial, Platt maintained he is not guilty of fatally shooting her. Although he admits the two had a violent argument the last time he saw her alive.
Judge Bobby Peters moved into sentencing immediately following the verdict. Platt was sentenced to two consecutive life sentences on murder and feticide charges, in addition to five years to be served consecutively for aggravated assault.
NBC 38 spoke to a therapist who explains that while most arguments between couples don't end in tragedy, money is a big issue in many marriages.
"Money causes more problems in a marriage than all of the other issues combined," said Dr. William Cole.
Dr. Cole is a Columbus therapist with over 20 years experience. He says arguments over finances often turn ugly. He says, "When disagreements happens, anger happens and sometimes it can even get to some violence."
Jilani's best friend says she witnessed an argument between the couple at Friday's Restaurant about rent payments the night she died. Also, officers testified that Platt told them the couple hadn't really spoken in over a month and he was sleeping on the couch. Dr. Cole explains, "The anger that can erupt sometimes comes from unresolved issues because the people in the relationship won't communicate. They try to bury them and then they explode. "
Platt's defense attorney Robert Watkins told the jury that the night Jilani died, the couple had a violent argument. Watkins says Platt choked his wife but when he left their home to cool off she was alive. He says when Platt came back home she was dead, so he wrapped her in a comforter and took her to a retention pond on Schatulga Road. Watkins argues that because Jilani was dead before Platt shot her, he's not guilty of murder.

A 27-year-old man in Missouri has been arrested on charges of unlawful use of a weapon and driving while intoxicated after he allegedly used a shotgun to threaten employees at McDonald's, demanding the restaurant reopen and give him some food to take home to his pregnant wife.
According to reports, the man rolled up to the drive-thru window of the McDonald's in Benton, MO, shortly after closing time on Saturday. When he was told that the restaurant had shut down for the evening, that's when he allegedly pulled out the gun.
Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter tells SEMissourian.com:
He told the employee he wanted food and pointed the shotgun at that time... He said, 'If I don't bring some food home for my wife, she's going to kill me.' At that point, the employees didn't want to stick around to listen to any more demands.
The employees stepped out of the man's line of fire and contacted the police. A deputy responded immediately and held the suspect at gunpoint until backup arrived.
"The shotgun was loaded and there was a round chambered," said the sheriff.
