African American film artist Brook Bello, whose toned, slim build and close-cropped blonde hair belie her 40 years, has appeared in TV commercials and dramas, such as the science fiction program "Stargate SGI."
Despite her achievements, Bello was desperately unhappy for many of these apparently successful years. She had a horrific youth hidden deep inside her.
Bello had been one of the millions of women and girls in the U.S. and internationally who are abducted, duped or coerced into selling sex for their "owners'" profit.
For years she said nothing, but now she's going as public as she can.
Bello has written, produced and directed a documentary film, "Survivor: Living Above the Noise," in which she tells her own story as a sex trafficking victim, as do others in the film. The documentary takes the viewer to Bahrain in the Middle East, one of the global hotspots of the practice, where Bello went to recover from her experiences and learn about the impact of sex trafficking on women and girls there.
She is also partnering with the International Black Women's Public Policy Institute to expose the problem of sex trafficking in the African American community. Bello and the policy institute, founded in 2009 in Washington, D.C., are planning nationwide discussions and screenings of her film, which will be shown next month at the 65th Cannes Film Festival.Read the full story at... more

While I don't care much for Infowars anymore, they occasionally do good work. I've been waiting for articles that appeal to calm during this media attempt at fomenting a race war, but I've seen none coming from either the left or the right.
***
In both the media and political classes, there exist individuals who are seemingly addicted to crisis opportunity, and whose shallow efforts threaten to set the country back 30 or 50 years in its social development.
The George Zimmerman case has been seized upon by the charlatans, the political classes and the media manipulators – as their latest vehicle for dividing Americans into their respective camps, along the lines of ethnicity, insisting that Martin’s death was caused by ‘racial profiling’ – when no evidence beyond anecdotal has been presented to date to support such an accusation. here we witness both the media and politicians alike, working in concert, to construct the illusion of a race war in America.
But this is only the beginning.
Amidst all the hype and media circus promoted by the likes of NBC, CNN, FOX and and foundation-funded talking heads like Al Sharpton, and even President Obama who injected flammable material into the conversation early on with his comment, “If I had a son, he’s look like Trayvon Martin”- there exists a a dark Zeitgeist, trend, or a wave forming, which is obviously and overwhelmingly antagonistic – and ultimately designed to ‘divide and rule’ the culture.
Those who live in the real world know full well that when it comes to race in America, the reality is that a degree of tension will always exist – the county’s own chequered history of race almost guarantees this outcome. There is no utopia, even though many of us still strive towards it. It’s as almost as human as it is American. Yet, America has still already achieved what so many other nations around the world have failed to do, by providing upward mobility and a level of integration on a mass scale – not seen anywhere else.
One final warning for those in the media who are content to see the races divided and fighting amongst each other. You have breathed new life back (luckily not too much yet) into two irrelevant and completely backward organizations - the Neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement (NSM) and the New Black Panther Party (NBP). Both groups are gaining eyeballs, as they both call for an escalation of paramilitary tension along the lines of race. Listen to the NBP radio interview on Florida radio this week:
Race wars lead to class war
The next phase is even darker and more insidious. The danger with fomenting a race war in America, is that, by its shallow and artificial nature, it lends itself to a much deeper and much more enduring class warfare.
The pump has already been prime for a top-down engineered, class war in America, as seen through caste-oriented language adopted by protesters, the media – and everybody, since last year’s Occupy Movement separating the 99% from the 1%.
As seen in the Trayvon Martin case, where “black vs white” has been inserted as the overwhelming theme by social influencers in both the media and politics, these same influencers have already successfully divided our once individualistic society into the pathetic representation of the “99% vs 1%”. At no time during the Occupy experiment did the movement, or the media ever successfully address the fundamental causes of economic disparity in the United States – caused by the Federal Government and private Central Banking Establishment, whose bad management and rigged financial system triggered one of the worst economic meltdowns in global history.
The concept of “Mob Rule” is also important in America’s newly divided society. You will see it in both the racial, and the economic conversation.
In this volatile political climate, the mob will often feel empowered – especially when led by a partisan icon, and this leader will always tell them anything they want to hear. Partisan icons generally rule by using fear, and creating class envy. While I don't care much for Infowars anymore, they occasionally do good work.... more

In the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting and the ensuing media circus, a new beast has reared its ugly head – this time in the form of media disinformation and race-baiting reports threatening to propel America in the direction of a new race war.
On Saturday April 7th, journalist Michael Miller’s Miami New Times blog clumsily ran with a report entitled,“Armed Neo-Nazis Now Patrolling Sanford, Say They Are “Prepared” for Post-Trayvon Martin”.
The Miami New Times report claims that National Socialist Movement’s mascot, Jeff Schoep, dubbed “The Hollywood Nazi” because of his adherence to TV stereotypes, is leading armed Neo-Nazi patrols of Sanford, Florida to protect white residents from black violence. But there’s only one problem – it isn’t actually happening
Infowars.com contacted the Sanford Police Department on Sunday, looking for confirmation on the Miami News Times story, but according to the department’s office of public information, “We can confirm there have been no reports of any Neo-Nazi, or armed Neo-Nazi patrols in Sanford.”
The Miami New Times have since updated their article to retract their earlier reports of armed Neo-Nazi patrols in Sanford.
Where there are racial extremists, expect to find the Southern Poverty Law Center(SLPC) nearby. In this instance, the SPLC seemed to be perfectly synchronized with the release of the Miami New Times claims, running their own story touting this latest news, warning Florida residents that:
“The neo-Nazi, National Socialist Movement (NSM) has announced that it will be conducting patrols in Seminole County, Fla., to protect “local citizens from the area who are concerned for the safety of their families.” The group says it is prepared for “racial violence” in the Sanford area, where the Martin shooting occurred, and that is has been “contacted by dozens of local citizens” supposedly seeking protection…In the wake of the Trayvon Martin shooting and the ensuing media circus, a new beast... more

Last night an eyewitness to the Trayvon Martin killing appeared on CNN and unleashed more damning evidence against the police. Speaking to Ashleigh Banfield, the face-obscured witness said that when the cops brought her in for questioning, she offered to show them the scene of the crime and explain exactly what happened—she saw the "larger man" attacking "the boy"—the police declined her offer. Not only that, but they suggested that she was wrong: that Zimmerman was the one calling for help, not Martin. WOW. I understand the need people have to express their solidarity by wearing Hoodies but at what point do they decide to act to make things better? Showing support is fine but in a lot of cases people will do it for a few days and once the story has lost the interest of the media the general public will go back to their daily routines and continue to ignore the bigger issue. Simply wearing a Hoodie won't solve anything even if for a moment it makes you feel better. It shouldn't be about making you feel better anyway, it should be about opening a dialog. Until people are willing to connect with one another and truly discuss their differences, even if it is uncomfortable and completely foreign to their own way of life I'm afraid more Trayvons will lose their lives to acts of senseless violence. We really need to stop killing our own future with the ignorance of the past. Just a thought.I understand the need people have to express their solidarity by wearing Hoodies but... more

I'm sad and angry that I live in a world where the shooting of Travon Martin is not a rare event. No one let alone a child of any skin color should have to live life on a daily basis with the potential of being killed by someone merely because they fit some sick preconceived notion of what constitutes a criminal. Who knows what great accomplishments Travon could have given this world. It sickens me to imagine what we've lost because of one mans ignorant violent act. For the right price, now even the schvartzes can join this warmongering, supremacist hate lobby that is regarded as the most powerful and feared political action group in Washington.

It didn’t take much to notice the changing face of the pro-Israel activist community. A walk through the packed ballroom at the recent American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s annual conference revealed a crowd more diverse than the stereotypic image of the Jewish lobby.
AIPAC is still the prime location for pro-Israel Jewish activism, but an aggressive outreach effort has made it home for many non-Jewish supporters of Israel, as well: Christian evangelicals, African Americans, Latinos and student leaders from many top colleges.
There are sound political reasons for the pro-Israel lobby’s decision to turn outward. Senior officials acknowledged that the pool of non-Orthodox Jewish backers is dwindling and that Jewish support will no longer be enough to carry the pro-Israel political message. For the right price, now even the schvartzes can join this warmongering, supremacist... more

Black babies are dying at 2.4 times the rate of white infants before their first birthday; a disparity the Centers for Disease Control estimates could shrink by 50 percent simply by increasing breastfeeding rates among their moms.
In New York City, the problem is particularly acute—black women are nearly eight times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications than whites. In California, black women accounted for only 6 percent of births in the state, but they represented 22 percent of pregnancy-related deaths in 2002 and 2003. Breastfeeding has health benefits for the mother too.
Unfortunately, oftentimes when Jimmy Choo and I walk into a room of other breastfeeding black women to learn from them and exchange ideas, I often sense more side-eye glances because of my appearance and background. The supportive, let’s roll-up-our-sleeves together love often escapes me. I am finding that the stereotypes about what a black woman breastfeeding advocate should look like are becoming an unwelcome obstacle to my intent and purpose. I feel isolated and much like an interloper in a room of brown faces.

Just for the record, I don't want a White America any more than I want Hispanic America, a Black America, or a Jewish America.
I just find it interesting that there is a double standard that the Atlantic's Hua Hsu is paid to publish an article speculating on the end of a White America, but someone like Patrick Buchannan is not allowed to write a chapter of a book with the exact same title without losing his job.
I know that there is going to be the usual hate spewed all over by the usual clique for this post.

My days as a political analyst at MSNBC have come to an end.
After 10 enjoyable years, I am departing, after an incessant clamor from the left that to permit me continued access to the microphones of MSNBC would be an outrage against decency, and dangerous.
The calls for my firing began almost immediately with the Oct. 18 publication of Suicide of a Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?
A group called Color of Change, whose mission statement says that it "exists to strengthen Black America's political voice," claimed that my book espouses a "white supremacist ideology." Color of Change took particular umbrage at the title of Chapter 4, "The End of White America."
Yet my four-months' absence from MSNBC and now my departure represent an undeniable victory for the blacklisters.
The modus operandi of these thought police at Color of Change and ADL is to brand as racists and anti-Semites any writer who dares to venture outside the narrow corral in which they seek to confine debate.
All the while prattling about their love of dissent and devotion to the First Amendment, they seek systematically to silence and censor dissent.
Without a hearing, they smear and stigmatize as racist, homophobic or anti-Semitic any who contradict what George Orwell once called their "smelly little orthodoxies." They then demand that the heretic recant, grovel, apologize, and pledge to go forth and sin no more.
Defy them, and they will go after the network where you work, the newspapers that carry your column, the conventions that invite you to speak. If all else fails, they go after the advertisers.
I know these blacklisters. They operate behind closed doors, with phone calls, mailed threats and off-the-record meetings. They work in the dark because, as Al Smith said, nothing un-American can live in the sunlight.

Maya Angelou shilling for Obama and playing the race card during Black History Month
***
This year, if it progresses as Angelou expects, will exacerbate the pattern, bringing a momentous high, but not before some sickening lows. Don't worry about Barack Obama, says the chronicler of black history. He'll be re-elected. He deserves to be re-elected. But between now and November, it's going to get nasty.
"I think we are going to see a number of people who say: 'I have no racial prejudice in my heart, not in my conversation,'" Angelou says. "But in the next few months, as we wind up to the double campaign, I tell you we are going to see some nastiness, some vulgarity, I think. THEY'LL PULL THE SHEETS OFF." (?)
Obama has critics and doubters. Angelou, the sage of black America, now 83, has no time for them. "I think he has done a remarkable job, knowing how much he has been opposed," she says. "Every suggestion he makes, the Republicans en masse fight against him or don't vote at all." It's about him being a Democrat and being the first black president, she says.
More recently, her presidential link has been via the first lady, Michelle Obama. "She's the grand dame," says Angelou. "I wrote her a note a few months ago because I was in a gathering. The president and his party were there, but I had to leave early. I know that's a gaffe because no one leaves the building before the president so I wrote and apologised. I got a letter from her in her own handwriting. She said: 'I have only one regret – that I didn't come over and hug your neck.'"
When next they met, Angelou's shock was palpable. Millions of viewers of the US channel Black Entertainment Television (BET) saw the author – recipient of three Grammys, a Pulitzer nomination and 30 honorary degrees – prepare to receive more yet recognition; a BET Honors award. She had no idea who would present it. Enter the first lady. "She talked for about 10 minutes about my work and its impact on her and her husband for the past 20 years," she says. "Calm now, but not then, Angelou told reporters: "I thought my heart would burst."Maya Angelou shilling for Obama and playing the race card during Black History Month... more

Michael Collins Piper, veteran JFK researcher and author of "The Final Judgement," exposes the storyline and official government version of a potential assassinate plot of President Obama, or a future president in the book "In the President's Secret Service" by New York Times best selling author Ronald Kessler.
Kessler goes on to blame a future assassination plot on affirmitive action, the Secret Service's hiring of too many unqualified African-American agents, and also the Obama administration for their lapses in security.
Kessler is in effect creating a kind of plausible deniability on behalf of the government along with a possible "official government version" of the event.Michael Collins Piper, veteran JFK researcher and author of "The Final... more
