The third track from my album "2008", a concept album written and recorded one song per month, starting in January and ending in December of the year 2008. There is a varied mix of genres present throughout the album, mostly reflective of whatever my mood was or whatever I was listening to from month to month. For me, 2008 was the year of the end of highschool/the beginning of college, and many themes present in the album deal with the significances and stresses brought up during this time. The album was finished and pressed in time for a December 31st release at midnight, right when the ball dropped in NYC, ending the year and the project. It was released in three formats: digital download, CD, and USB Flashdrive Wristband (which featured exclusive pictures and an exclusive EPK-style video).

RFWtv Presents the 2008 Wakarusa Music Festival by Roving Festival Writer, LLC. Held in Lawrence, KS, Wakarusa brought together artists like The Flaming Lips, CAKE, Ben Folds, STS9 and the Avett Brothers for the first weekend in June.
Due to the onset of weather that would soon bring the flood waters to hit areas like Hannibal, MO and the state of Iowa, many performances were canceled; however, many acts soldiered on and made Wakarusa 2008 one for the memory books.
