According to Rick Bayless, Tijuana is "attracting people from all over" and "something unique is happening in Tijuana." Very interesting new season on Season 8 of "Mexico - One Plate at a Time with Rick Bayless." Tijuana is attracting travelers in hordes just as it did in it's glamorous "Hollywood" days of the 1920's.
Tijuana is experiencing a rebirth of art and museums, culture and what Rick Bayless considers to be the best cuisine in all of North America. He also walks the streets of Tijuana discovering the origin of the Caesar Salad, eating tacos and visiting what he considers to be one of the top culinary schools in the country.
I am an American that has considered moving to Tijuana for years now. I visit there as often as I can and love the people, food, and culture. I just contacted a real estate agent in Tijuana and have an appointment tomorrow to look at some properties.

With Major Music Outlets Like MTV & The MOG Music Network running feature stories on the dimise of real Hip-Hop for lack of a better term.. we try and explore how this happened.
Here is a piece from a recent Mog article... In the last few of years, it's become passé to make aggressive street music. Gone are the days when all you needed to make it in hip-hop was a stock thug persona and a song about how gangsta you are. 2010 marks the culmination of a slow, methodical softening of hip-hop by the infiltration of R&B, techno, and indie rock. Baggy jeans and oversized hoodies have been replaced with skinny jeans and cardigan sweaters. The era we came to know and love is over. Hip-hop is supposed to make people uncomfortable, and it's always had an air of anti-authoritarianism embedded in the culture. So how exactly did we go from "Wu-Tang Clan Aint Nothin' To Fuck With" to Drake's cotton-soft "Find Your Love"? Rap music needs the anger back; it needs the unpredictability back" We feel it needs it's insight back.
New York Based Indie Label "Wane Enterprises" Tried to Warn us back in 2009, With The Track "That Aint Hip-Hop From Wane Recording Artist "Fam-Illy" feating "Bruse Wane" but with a saturated market full of payola seeking gate keepers it fell on deaf ears.. it's seems we may be at the beginning of a serious fan and cultural backlash if Hip-Hop does not change it's tune. And we're back with another favorite stories countdown post! Last Friday we checked out Sergio's list, but this time around we spent some quality time with Ellen Fox, co-host for The Rotten Tomatoes Show and all around funny person extraordinaire.
Watch Ellen Fox on The Rotten Tomatoes Show on Thursdays at 10:30/9:30c on Current TV
Here's what Ellen had to say about her top 14:
Ya know who gets their own two-hour TV show about stuff they like? THIS guy! Yeah, tonight Current is re-airing my countdown of favorite videos – and if you like my taste in movies, you may like these segments, too! (Also, if you don’t like my taste in movies, you may finally find something we both like.)
If there’s a common thread running through the line-up, it’s probably “Beautiful Women Doing Interesting Things.” Catching catfish with their bare hands, rioting over chocolate, driving convoys through Iraq.
Enjoy!
So, grab your headphones, tell your boss you have a 2-hour conference call, and check out Ellen Fox's top 14 Current TV videos for a taste of what is airing on Current TV today at 3pm E / 6pm P. If you can't make it, we'll be re-airing it again on Monday 9/28 at 3pm E / 6pm P.

It Begins:
"I used to dread the rain when I lived in London. But in a town like L.A. where you rarely get a season change, you kinda embrace the moment. The only problem is, unlike the famously written pavement sign in this photo, neither of us looked right after that day."
If only teleportation and time-travel were real. You could go back and fix mistakes. You could re-live moments. But the sad fact is that you have to accept reality and often times it’s heartbreaking no matter how hard you try to alter it. This is about a girl and guy who try and make a place something it’s not and in the end it breaks both of their hearts. It Begins:

Hey, Hey, Hey! It’s “Fashion Friday’s!” from www.oneof365.com” This magazine editor has a fun and eclectic wardrobe that she wants to share with you. You get to look at what she’s chosen from her closet this week (fun finds from London, vintage, markets from the globe, designers…) and hear a little history about the brands, how she came about finding the item and a fun tale or two about how she’s gotten her neat duds. A lot of fun because of the reader interaction and the humorous writing. She is a fun read and her blog is so eclectic, she always is coming up with something new (though “Fashion Fridays!” is a weekly staple).
This week is all about being a class act but doing it chicly! The look is really classic with fine details. You could wear this to a tea, a girly event, but you’d stand out for having a great cut, or fine detailing. There is an Elizabeth & James jacket to die for and a Nicole Farhi skirt that looks like a painting. Really stunning pieces.
Enjoy! Great pictures, very humorous and captions too!
Blogger has an amazingly eclectic site with everything from beauty, fashion, diary style entries, poetry, life in the magazine world----this girl has everything. Already winner of the prestigious “Blog Of The Day Award” (some people take years to earn this—she’s only had her blog up 6 weeks!) and on top level blog rolls of awesome bloggers, this girl is amazing. Los Angeles is a large and diverse city in many ways -- classes, races, and of course fashion. VC2 producers Rawbird explore the eclectic styles of Los Angeles by comparing Rodeo Drive and Venice Beach. On Rodeo Drive, the people wear big name brands (Fendi and Gucci to Prada and Chanel), and are very proud of it. In Venice Beach, the fashion is more about how the people are wearing it rather than who they are wearing.Los Angeles is a large and diverse city in many ways -- classes, races, and of course... more
