Ecid is an MC from Minneapolis, MN. This is an ambitious, very awesome video for his song "Big Things" from his 2010 album "100 Smiles And Runnin" there is a very good message to the song and the video really brings out the best in it. I think Current fans will dig this...

When I bumped this album in the ride it didn’t leave the deck for a week. Owl Hours is executive produced by Xzibit (Tha Alkoholiks, Pimp My Ride) and features the rapper on “Brains Out”. The album also hosts a well rounded gaggle of emcees, including Ceschi Ramos, Myka 9 (of Freestyle Fellowship fame), Aesop Rock, Tash & J-Ro (Tha Alkaholiks) and even features B-Real (Cypress Hill) on the no-holds-barred remix of Brains Out. Canada’s own Factor produced Owl Hours as well as Awol One’s previous album “Only Death Can Kill You,” which is already considered by many to be an underground classic. The follow up is no small feat as Factor is seductive with his craft and daftly precise in his execution of vibe. When I bumped this album in the ride it didn’t leave the deck for a week. Owl... more

Hip Hop poet Aesop Rock is back with a brand new album, "None Shall Pass," and with it, he continues his legacy as one of underground hip hop's most exciting and intelligent ambassadors. The album soars with ridiculously tight production (from the likes of El-P and Blockhead) and Aes's familiar baritone flow of intricate rhyme schemes and meticulous verbal control. There is not one weak track on this gem and Aes's lyrics are as powerful and insightful as ever. My list of Best Albums of the Year just got deeper.Hip Hop poet Aesop Rock is back with a brand new album, "None Shall Pass,"... more
