A third explosion occurred just after 3 this afternoon at John F. Kennedy library in what is now being called another confirmed attack.
Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis said “a third incident — explosion — was at the JFK Library” on Columbia Point.
“This is very much an ongoing event,” Davis said. “Stay home ... don’t congregate in large crowds.”
Shortly around 3 p.m. alarms went off at the library and black smoke poured from the historic building, filling the sky over the harbor.
The fire broke out as emergency crews were responding to two deadly explosions at the Marathon finish line.
JFK library director Tom Putnam was aware of the damage to the building, but said no injuries were reported.
Boston ladder trucks rushed to the scene and firefighters could be seen on the roof.
A large group gathered at the entrance to the library which is completely torched and covered in black soot.
John Boutin of Raynham was walking along the Harborwalk when he saw the smoke.
“All of a sudden I heard the alarms go off and looked up and saw thick black smoke. It was very thick and it was very black.”

Multiple outlets and law enforcement officials are reporting what a horrific looking scene makes clear: The headquarters at the Boston Marathon have been locked down after two explosions were reported near the downtown finish line mid-Monday afternoon, near the Boston Library. Boston police confirmed that there were two explosions — and casualties — but were not saying who or what might be responsible. "There were two booms heard from near the finish line inside the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel," reports the AP. Here's one of many images flowing in from social media current scene there:

Washington (CNN) -- An independent review of the September 11 attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi released Tuesday cited "systemic failures and leadership and management deficiencies" at the State Department.
The attacks killed four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.
The failures resulted in a security plan "that was inadequate for Benghazi and grossly inadequate to deal with the attack that took place," the 39-page, unclassified version of the report concluded.

Veteran diplomat Thomas Pickering and former Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen, both members of the review board, are scheduled to brief members of the House Foreign Affairs and Senate Foreign Relations committees in private on Wednesday.
The board cited a lack of resources as at least partly to blame.
"The solution requires a more serious and sustained commitment from Congress to support State Department needs," it said.

Once again, the government tells a lie and the establishment media broadcasts it without asking a question – until weeks later.
It turns out there was no protest outside the U.S. consulate in Libya before the ambassador and three others were killed. It was a lie that will now be used as a political football as the scheduled dog and pony show that will install the next Goldman Sachs president commences.

Today we talk of geo-politics and the freedom of information. But what is happening today technically (i.e. politically) began on 12 December 2008, though some say September of that year, but it took four years for the shock waves to reach Europe and America. The issue relates to Julian Assange, Wikileaks, and the Republic of Ecuador. Mind you, it was assumed in the entire American continent, Australia, and Europe that the world was the same as ten years ago. But the world does not work that way anymore.
On August 3 in New York, Ecuador became the first nation in the Americas and only nation in the Western world since 1948, to apply the concept of “immoral debt” or the political and technical refusal to pay foreign debts because they were made by previous governments through corruption, in violation of constitutional laws and requirements.
Bush said that the US was even ready for a ‘military option to safeguard US interests.’ The next morning, the powerful New York law firm of Goldberg & Goldberg submitted that there was a legal precedent for Ecuador’s action. Six hours later, the US gave up and called on the international community to challenge the legitimacy of the concept of “immoral debt”.
Interestingly, the legal precedent was dated 4 Jan 2003, and signed by George Bush. Yep. This happened in Iraq, which at that time was’technically’ an American possession since it was occupied by US forces and the interim government was not yet recognized by the UN. Saddam Hussein had left debts of 250 billion euros (40 billion euros against Italy, thanks to the transactions concluded Tareq Aziz, deputy to Hussein and an ally of Vatican’s Opus Dei), which the US erased by applying the concept of “immoral debt”, thus creating the recent historical precedent.

The Western campaign for global dominance has reached the top of the world. To the world’s military leaders, the debate over climate change is long over. They are preparing for a new kind of Cold War in the Arctic, anticipating that rising temperatures there will open up a treasure trove of resources and long-dreamed-of sea-lanes. The largest military exercise in the High North, inside and immediately outside the Arctic Circle, since the end of the Cold War (and perhaps even before) was completed on March 21 in northern Norway. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/recent-news/43061-cold-response-2012-nato-are-preparing-for-a-new-kind-of-cold-war-in-the-arcticThe Western campaign for global dominance has reached the top of the world. Police in Gainesville, Florida, are investigating what they believe to be a racially-motivated attack against a 27-year-old man early Saturday morning.
News4Jax.com reported the man was "walking home from midtown bars in Gainesville Tuesday morning when he said he was jumped by five to eight men who yelled 'Trayvon' before the attack."
The cry was an apparent reference to the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in February. George Zimmerman, the Hispanic neighborhood watch volunteer who shot and killed Martin, has yet to be arrested, however, there are indications he might be taken into custody sometime this week.

This paper is a history of the Israeli nuclear weapons program drawn from a review of unclassified sources. Israel began its search for nuclear weapons at the inception of the state in 1948. As payment for Israeli participation in the Suez Crisis of 1956, France provided nuclear expertise and constructed a reactor complex for Israel at Dimona capable of large-scale plutonium production and reprocessing. The United States discovered the facility by 1958 and it was a subject of continual discussions between American presidents and Israeli prime ministers. Israel used delay and deception to at first keep the United States at bay, and later used the nuclear option as a bargaining chip for a consistent American conventional arms supply. http://www.makeahistory.com/index.php/your-details/43067-a-history-of-the-israeli-nuclear-weapons-program-the-third-temples-holy-of-holiesThis paper is a history of the Israeli nuclear weapons program drawn from a review of... more
It must have sounded like the experience of a lifetime - an opportunity to observe Alaska's grizzly bears in the wild.
However, it could have very easily come to a grisly end after one of the bears charged at this group of tourists as they sat in camping chairs - and there was not a thing they could do about it.
The group of 10 had no option but to sit perfectly still as the fearsome bear bounded over to them before circling their camp and coming in for a closer inspection.
At one point the bear even sniffed the hood of one of the tourists as he sat in his chair.

We all know how easy it can be to ignore or underestimate the possibly, or even likelihood, of a terrorist attack; just remember what happened on 9-11. That seems to be just what the U.S. is doing when it comes to a possible Cyber-Attack, no not in other countries, but right here at home where targets like private sector companies, who provide vital economic and emergency services to our population using broadband infrastructure, and are woefully under-secured for such attacks.
