Canon EOS 1100D is a digital single-reflex camera powered with a 12.1 megapixel for a crisp, clear, and vivid photo. It is the only entry-level DSLR (to those who are new to digital photography) that has a movie recording mode compared to Canon EOS 1000D. Canon EOS 1100D comes with different body colors which find trendy to photo enthusiast, namely red, black and brown. Most of the settings and buttons of the 1100D are similar to the Canon DSLR cameras. What this camera brings is the 720p HD video recording which is best to the users who want to record events or clips as they want to. Now since we are talking about the features of the Canon EOS 1100D, I’ll list every feature of this camera below.
The camera gives a great impression to people who want to grab on this camera.
12.2 effective megapixel CMOS sensor. Great quality every photo.
DIGIC 4 Image Processor. For faster image processing for this camera.
2.7 inch TFT color LCD monitor with 230,000-dot resolution. Well, it’s the standard size for viewing photos but it’s good.
9 point AF with center cross-type sensors. Perfect if you don’t want to use “Manual” for focusing subjects.
Continuous Drive up to 3 frames per second for 830 JPEG frames or 2 frames per second for 5 RAW frames. Good for face-paced action scenes.
ISO sensitivity 100–6,400. Liked the ISO range. Good for outdoor and indoor photography.
Canon EF/EF-S lenses. Any type of lenses for this camera is compatible same as with DSLR cameras.
File formats include: JPEG, RAW (14-bit CR2). Standard format for image output. Nicely done.
720p HD video. This is what I like it. 720p HD video recording? Clear, HD video and great quality.
There you have it, I gave the features of the Canon EOS 1100D, actually, there are more features packed with this camera. Some of the photographers recommend this camera to those who are like to take pictures on an event or to record a video.

We've seen some mind-blowing footage from RED's EPIC, as one might expect from a $39,500 camera with a 5K sensor and up to 120 fps video capture (at 4K). But video shooter and all-around photo wiz Vincent Laforet got to take an exclusive early look at the company's new Canon EOS mount, which pairs the EPIC-M with Canon's enormous collection of top-quality glass, including the 600mm f/4 L lens Laforet used for his shoot at Mono Lake in California.
That lens, used with a 2x Canon teleconverter and the RED's multiplication factor, yields a 35mm-equivalent focal length of 3400mm, which as you'll see in the video below, enabled some pretty incredible video captures. RED has yet to officially announce availability for the Canon EOS mount, but has shared that it will cost $2,000 (pennies compared to the EPIC's $58,000 kit price), and will be constructed of titanium -- tasked with the critical responsibility of reducing movement during those extended-lens shoots. We've seen some mind-blowing footage from RED's EPIC, as one might expect... more

Tonight I was asked if I am a photographer and my answer was no, but I wasn't asked by an adult, it was a kid. She then told me that I am in fact a photographer because I take pictures. I suppose she is right, the problem is I am a photographer who is self taught and as such I do not have an audience. I've been studying the art of photography my whole life, but just recently I've devoted my life to being on the move and taking photos. I document nearly every day now, in an effort to learn my camera better as well as tell my story. At this point I need to find a way to continue my education, whether it be through my project twathorse or through attending art school. Either way, I'm documenting the journey, it is here for you to follow, and I assure you it will be a fun ride.Tonight I was asked if I am a photographer and my answer was no, but I wasn't... more
Kelly Hodgkins — I wonder how this happened. Did a bunch of Chinese businessmen desecrate this Canon 5D Mark II for kicks or were they jonesing for some cigs and had nothing but this used camera lying around?
Regardless of the reason, Canon camera fans may want to look away from the 5D camera body above. Only the bravest shutterbugs can stand the sight of such a beautiful camera filled with ashes, cigars and used cigarettes.
Unless, of course, you are one of those creative folk who wonder what would happen if you dumped out the ashes and tried to take a picture. Would the camera still work? Could you use the residual ash to create a whole new photography technique?Kelly Hodgkins — I wonder how this happened. Did a bunch of Chinese businessmen... more

Today I woke up and thought I'd set up my camera and play with taking time lapse videos, I didn't realize it was going to storm. I had to quickly get my camera out of the way of the water. I didn't wanna have to send it in under my Best Buy protection plan. I love my Canon 50d, the only thing I wish it would do is shoot in 16x9 mode so I can make these videos easier. I plan on taking a ton of pictures this weekend in Denver then in Toronto. I'm ready to see the world.Today I woke up and thought I'd set up my camera and play with taking time lapse... more

Alright, so tonight I decided to really put my ideas together in a more entertaining film. This is the culmination of tons of work. I've been building my ideas into a website as well as trying to expand beyond just the web. I want to hit the road and tell a story while telling the stories of other people. I want to use product placement to help me make it from Kansas City to Toronto. I'm hoping people will want to give me free clothes to support their brand, free food to eat at their restaurant, my ultimate goal is to find someone that has a car and wants to drive me to Toronto for the journey of a lifetime. If you're interested in supporting my cause in any way, just respond here. I'm on a quest to find answers.
Should marijuana be legal?
Where should I move?
How can I make a living doing what I enjoy doing?
What is the easiest way for me to build a name for myself?
Why should anyone listen to me?Alright, so tonight I decided to really put my ideas together in a more entertaining... more
REX is a study of three individuals that are key to the running of the independent cinema, The Rex, Wareham.
A lot of what makes visiting The Rex a spectacle is its aesthetics. However I felt just as important are the people behind it. The film is intended to represent the personalities and passions of the real characters of The Rex. Their interesting experiences and to highlight what drives them to dedicate so much to the cinema.REX is a study of three individuals that are key to the running of the independent... more
