Is this guy living like a Rock Star? Why do I care? Is she the hottest possible first lady of France?
Could Sarkozy be the Modern version of Pierre Trudeau the former Prime Minister of Canada who was quoted as saying "The state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation."?
Pierre Trudeau was famous for dating celebrities in the 70's, and received allot of flack at the time. He was still one of Canada's most influential leaders.
Should the personal lives of our leaders really be our business? If our leaders are doing their jobs properly should we care what goes on behind closed doors?
The current American President, seems to have very normal home life; maybe we need the good old days of "I did not have sex with that women"?Is this guy living like a Rock Star? Why do I care? Is she the hottest possible first... more

Ken Burns, who created the documentaries "The Civil War" and "Jazz," has thrown his celebrity card in the direction of Barack Obama. Personally I feel Ken Burns is one of the few celebrities with any real endorsing power.
Burns who has known the Clintons for years had this to say about Hillary's current campaign.
"I've been really disappointed by the tone that the campaigning has taken," he said. "I think she's getting some bad advice and I'm sure she'll clean up the act."Ken Burns, who created the documentaries "The Civil War" and... more

A record previously set by John Kerry in the 2004 Presidential Election has been broken by Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul who raised an amazing $6 million in one day for his campaign and should most certainly be able to have a presence in the upcoming primaries vowing to outraise his republican rivals. During the 2004 presidential election, one exit poll revealed that 22% of voters said "Moral Issues" was the number one issue they voted on. Of those voters 80% voted for President Bush, and it was the state of Utah that gave the President his largest margin of victory. So just how important will "Moral Issues" be in the 2008 presidential election? In Utah, very important.During the 2004 presidential election, one exit poll revealed that 22% of voters said... more

"Now, would I say things a little differently in 2007? Probably so," Huckabee told Fox News. "But I'm not going to recant or retract from the statement that I did make because, again, the point was not saying we ought to lock people up who have HIV/AIDS."

"I'm not the youngest candidate in this race, you know that, but I am the most experienced," McCain said at the beginning of the Dialogue. "I'm older than Frankenstein and I've got a few scars ... and I'm older than dirt and I've more scars than Frankenstein ... screwed up that line," he laughed, tripping over one of his standard stump lines. "My main reason for running for president is because I want to make you safe. I want to give you a safer world ... both security-wise, as we are in two wars as we speak."

CARACAS, Venezuela - Humbled by his first electoral defeat ever, President Hugo Chavez said Monday he may have been too ambitious in asking voters to let him stand indefinitely for re-election and endorse a huge leap to a socialist state.
------------------------------------
Now I admit to not following Venezuelan politics closely, but after being assured by many people in the media, on the internet, and our government that this man is a dictator, I was surprised to see this story.
What kind of dictator holds an election to give himself more power and create a socialist state and then loses the election? He's supposed to win this election with 98% of the vote. That's the way it's done. CARACAS, Venezuela - Humbled by his first electoral defeat ever, President Hugo... more

Hillary Clintion has been slipping in the poles and that has been obvious in many surveys. Therefore, I think it could be possible that the hostage stand is a fraud/ploy done by Hillary Clinton to get control of the race again. She offered to go to NH to talk to the guy but of course, everyone is going to say "no, don't go there". If he doesn't get a light setence now, I'd bet if she became president, she would pardon him. Even if she is not president, she will have political weight to lighten any sentence given. Again, I repeat; "this is a move done by the Clinton campaign to regain any lost votes." I have seen people stoop to a low, but this is the lowest. It's nothing more than "Polotics101" . Create a situation. Take control. Offer any and all help. Continue throughout the situation. Go above and beyond. (same rules that are applied in management - "1)stay calm, 2)be seen, 3)put people before business, 4)"tell the truth" -hah, she can't seem to do that at any point in time).-------------------This is a pathetic way for someone to get into office. I hope she is caught for this fraud.---------------------------------Call this editorial what you will. We are all entitled to our opinions.
