In Addition DJ Wheezy, along with his business partners Star Murphy, DJ Tuk, and Mack Cox, started his own music/entertainment group called A-List Entertainment. Instead of just deejaying parties, DJ Wheezy throws his own parties and even puts together major events like TSU Homecoming, ATL Football Classic, John A. Alfamega Sends Open Letter To T.I.

Former Grand Hustle rapper Alfamega [click to read] has reached out to jailed rapper and ex-friend, T.I., asking for a chance to reconcile their differences after Tip kicked him off of the label [click to read].

“I'm sitting here contemplating my present circumstances and I'm astonished,” he wrote. “Hommie, I rode for you when there was no one else there to ride for you. 24/7, I was on call for you pimp. On many occasions, I sidelined my family choosing to risk my early demise for you. With a little cheddar, you can easily employ dudes to kill for you all day every day. Conversely, try finding someone who will put their life on the line and die for you...I could have died during many instances that I stepped up for you on. I'm dismayed by the fact that you—of all folk—would leave me treading water in the middle of the ocean with my situation.”

After serving a seven-year stint in jail until 2002, Alfamega joined Grand Hustle Records where he began to work with friend and CEO of the label, T.I. Recently, however, it was discovered that Alfamega ‘s term in prison was shortened because of his cooperation with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration [click to read]. In addition to being exposed and facing accusations of being a “snitch,” Alfamega was also publicly released from the label. T.I. said in a public statement [click to listen] that his organization would not tolerate “dishonest and misleading behavior.”

Despite the tension between the two, Alfamega has expressed his desire to work things out with his former friend, without the intrusion of the media.

“Essentially, what I'm trying to convey is that this situation can be squashed in the same manner that we've resolved disagreements in the past. I want you to pull up the red tape and let's communicate one on one. In other words, I want your publicists, managers, artists, blogger, and everyone else excluded. Let's straighten this out like two men because before all of this we were friends.”

Alfamega also warned Tip that there were people in his camp who weren’t really loyal, and who would only serve to exacerbate the problems between the two. He also spoke on some personal issues, and expressed his shock at being booted from the label. He ended the letter with supportive words for the jailed rapper, but not before giving him an ultimatum:
