Lawlessness will happen as long as we don't care about the document that foundations the coun tries laws and bill of rights.
When we are silenced the last option is a civil war or revolution and thats not what this country needs is it being turned into a war zone please let us not be silenced it is your duty, your not free unless you fight for it, your not free unless you make the government scared of you standing up and fighting against it, we need representation thats not backed by a agenda where your forced to sell yourself (your body) out to the government and the establishment. Please I am asking you not just as a guy to prevent civil wars but as one of Currents fallen members (I didn't break any rules they simply deleted my account without one word to me or letting me save my articles) to please boycott Current please! I need your help to keep Current propaganda and censorship free! Please boycott Current and send them a email telling them why your boycotting their website until they meet the peoples demands of not pushing articles down intentionally with fake voters (forcing honest article writers to do the same or quit because they never receive the debates the articles needs), that current stop pushing government propaganda or label articles of that type as government propaganda label, and that current not threaten dissent and that they stop deleting/attacking/destroying accounts and their articles because they get too big for their britches.
This is a letter hopefully to all current members to please boycott Current until they stop this nasty secretive censorship and attack game. Because of this many alternative press articles get many attacks and no positive comments out of fear of being attacked as well. Current should be a happy place for all view points and happy debates and not government games, Current should be a open website not a closed website.Lawlessness will happen as long as we don't care about the document that... more

I am a fallen member of Current because my articles got too big and so I have seen that current no longer wants free speech but they don't want to get protested and so they do this censorship in a sneaky and in a debunking way of having created accounts and multiple personalities to make the negative comments look good while censoring and taking down good comments if they (controversial and anti establishment articles) get too big, thats when their staff start attacking and threatening people and putting a bunch of negative comments that others don't wish to make their comments because of all the negative comments while their ranks on current categories go way down and if they add it to other categories they get in trouble for that too, and so if they start mass emailing people as another attempt to create debate their accounts disappear even though they are not advertising a website but bringing out the truth according to the rights to freedom of speech and freedom of press which is being suppressed by the private sector (bailout money given to them and as a return they suppress people talking against the government, make them look bad, or make them look crazy by sending them loads of death threats and nasty messages to rally those people up so they start cussing and attacking people in the articles comments thus they broke current rules and can have their account terminated. Current is not going after anybody who slanders and attacks people because those people are current staff using secondary accounts which I personally seen.), and private investors that run current. Also even if na article gets big and doesn't get censored they usually send out a news article that would ruin them such as anyone against the true facts of the healthcare bill looking like they are working with the insurance companies even though they don't. Every Article that truthfully makes Obama look bad thenh other articles get pushed up making those people look bad or make them look like they are paid shills which is not true. Under Bushs evil rule we are on the verge of a (violent and non violent) revolution against the government and we were gonna fight under Bush but now with Obama people are sitting and doing nothing even though theres evidence that hes making the same policies as Bush but more sneakier because hes a political puppet for the private sector, his money is being used for porn film companies, and now the government owns and runs General Motors. Thats communism when the government starts owning businesses and wants to control every aspect of our lives, it's not socialism what Obama is doing it is pure communism. When ACORN members of the union are beating up anti obama protesters, when the whitehouse wants you to report anybody against healthcare to flag@whitehouse.gov, when they want you reporting your neighbors, and Obama is against anyone against him that is communism when people must be afarid to speak out against the way the system is working or the new proposals for the system which may have negative consequences or may not work. Please fight communism by boycotting Current!
I know Current is a private site and what they do and say goes which I why I am asking you to BoyCott current so we can restore freedom of speech and put an end to Currents unfair censorship gaming methods.
Beside whats wrong with the Constitution, thats why we have laws to obey in the first place, if we have to obey the laws the government pass but we can't protest out of fear of arrests, people reporting you, flagging you, and that the secret service and armed police will arrest you then why should we obey the law either because then the law is no more it is pure corruption that leads to dictatorships and supporting terrorism attackers. If people don't care about the constitution there will be more gangbangers, bloodshed, and violence will rise in america I know it as a fact, and there will be more gunman shootings and rebel soldiers in America.I am a fallen member of Current because my articles got too big and so I have seen... more

I really hate this so called new generation of gaming. These so called advanced systems. My forth 360 got the red ring two days ago and I don't think I'm going to replace it. Every time, they say they added some new processor that fixes everything. Quite frankly I'm thinking for sending a long nasty letter to Microsoft about things they can sodomize themselves with. And boycotting the system with hopes the 360 dies and some capable system arises from the ashes. I would think about saving for for a PS3 but apparently they have just as much problems. Which is weird because the PS2 that I bought the month the system came out still works just fine.
Am I being petty? Am I doing something wrong? I don't think I abuse my systems since my PS2, 64, and game cube still work great. Do I just have bad luck? What do you think?I really hate this so called new generation of gaming. These so called advanced... more

As Largest Environmental Judgment on Record Looms, the Oil Company Reassures Shareholders It Won't Pay
Chevron Corp. (CVS), which expects to be on the losing end of a long-running environmental lawsuit in Ecuador, is turning its attention to fighting the expected multibillion-dollar verdict in the U.S.
The plaintiffs in the case, residents of Ecuador's oil-producing Amazonian rainforest, are seeking to hold Chevron responsible for environmental contamination they say was caused by Texaco, which operated in Ecuador from 1964 to 1990 and was bought by Chevron in 2001. An expert appointed by the Ecuadorian court has recommended the judge award the plaintiffs $27 billion in damages from Chevron, which would be the biggest environmental judgment against an oil company to date.
Chevron denies the allegations, arguing that Texaco's operations in Ecuador met local and international standards, that a $40 million cleanup effort in the 1990s resolved any environmental liability the company had there, and that any remaining problems are the responsibility of Petroecuador, the state-run oil company that took over Texaco's operations.
The stakes are high. Damages of $27 billion would represent roughly a tenth of the company's 2008 revenue, and a record-setting judgment could tarnish Chevron's image at a time when it has been trying to establish itself as environmentally friendly.
Chevron says it has given up the prospect of winning the case because the Ecuadorian court system is heavily influenced by President Rafael Correa, who has publicly sided with the plaintiffs. The company says it plans to appeal the case in Ecuador, but has little hope of prevailing. Both sides expect a ruling in the case later this year.
Chevron itself has never operated in Ecuador, and Texaco pulled out in 1992, leaving behind almost no assets for the court to seize in case of a judgment against the company. Therefore the plaintiffs will need to try to enforce any ruling in a country where Chevron does have assets, most likely the U.S.
Chevron has been reassuring shareholders that it doesn't expect to be forced to pay any judgment imposed by Ecuador.
"We're not paying and we're going to fight this for years if not decades into the future," Chevron spokesman Don Campbell said in an interview.
To prevent enforcement of a potential judgment in the U.S., Chevron will likely need to convince a U.S. judge it didn't get a fair trial in Ecuador -- something legal experts say won't be easy. "It's going to have to be pretty conclusive evidence," said Ralph Steinhardt, a law professor at George Washington University.
Complicating the matter for Chevron, after the plaintiffs originally sued Texaco in the U.S., Texaco convinced a U.S. court that the case should be heard in Ecuador, praising Ecuador's judicial system in court filings. As Largest Environmental Judgment on Record Looms, the Oil Company Reassures... more

Today the blog Bilerico Project, The Trevor Project a suicide prevention non-profit, The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada, Change.org, and Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network issued a joint press release along with Rockstar Energy Drink. The statement issued included the announcement of a donation to the organizations listed totaling one hundred thousand dollars and changes to Rockstar's company policy to extend equal benefits to same sex partners and sensitivity training for its relatively small staff of 120.
The Nevada Based Company has come under fire of late because of connections made by the gay community, to controversial ultra-conservative radio personality Michael Savage, who has said many insulting things about communitites of color, the LGBT community, immigrants, Muslims and the disabled. Savage is the father of the CEO Russel Weiner and is married to the CFO of Rockstar Energy Drink, he is also credited with formulating the drink, although not financially tied to the company directly. Weiner and Savage also co-founded the Paul Revere Society, an organization advocating for the deportation of "all Foreign Nationals who have bypassed a 'Criminal background check', our military and/or National Guard Units on our borders pending establishment of an automated detection system, Require a LOYALTY OATH of all immigrants." All though the website for the society has been removed it continues to exist.
Weiner is quoted in the press release saying:
"Some have erroneously associated our company with offensive language directed at LGBT people, specifically statements coming from Michael Savage, who is not and has never been a shareholder or officer of ROCKSTAR Energy Drink. On behalf of our company and directors, including myself and CFO Janet Weiner, I would like to take this opportunity to disavow any offensive statements directed toward LGBT people, including statements from Michael Savage. ROCKSTAR assures our customers and the general public that our brand will never be associated with any language that does not affirm the essential dignity of every person in our diverse national community."
Initial things were very tense between the online community and Rockstar. Before talks began, Rockstar issued Cease and Desist letters to Facebook causing several groups on the social network supporting the boycott to be shuttered, as well as accounts suspended, and it sent the same letters threatening many blogs that supported the boycott not on facebook, Including Bilerco.

The American Family Association is in the process of boycotting PepsiCo, and thus Pepsi and other products (such as Mountain Dew), for their sponsorship of gay pride parades. I created a Facebook group by the name of "In Support of PepsiCo," in order to form some grassroots activism in support of PepsiCo.
The AFA has boycotted companies for as little as advertising in an LGBT magazine. Ford and Campbell's, for example. If you have Facebook, join this group and help to tell the AFA to back off - tell them that they will not win.
They claim to have over two million members. Let's see if we can get that many people in support of PepsiCo.The American Family Association is in the process of boycotting PepsiCo, and thus... more

Leading architects including Will Alsop and Chris Wilkinson have urged their fellows to boycott this year's Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Trust lecture to be given by Prince Charles tonight in London.
Their protest comes after a letter from Charles to the Middle Eastern develops of the London Chelsea Barracks site, asking for a revision of their plans which he thinks are unsuitable. His last lecture at the RIBA 25 years ago created great controversy when he called the proposed extension of the National Gallery "a monstrous carbuncle".
This year's address is not expected to attack any particular schemes but to remind architects that their primary role is to make places that work well rather than create individual buildings with an iconic appearance. They should but communities at the centre of the design process and not innovate for the sake of innovation, but choose the best of modern technology.Leading architects including Will Alsop and Chris Wilkinson have urged their fellows... more

Flash mobs are typically formed for the amusement of attendees and spectators, but Carrotmob has turned the flash mob into an engine for social change. Carrotmob convinces consumer flash mobs to shop at retailers who have agreed to contribute a percentage of their income towards making their operation more environmentally friendly. The newly formed NYC wing of Carrotmob pits two Brooklyn hardware stores against each other in a bidding war for the highest percentage of sales to go towards the cause. Carrotmob then spreads with word using tools like Facebook and Twitter to launch the first ever New York City reverse boycott.Flash mobs are typically formed for the amusement of attendees and spectators, but... more

I am posting this after going to current feeling certain someone else already had a story about this horror. I wanted to join in and find out what can be done. It's inconceivable to me that this goes on every spring. So now with tears streaming down my face from watching this video I found my question is what can we do to end this cruel and inhumane slaughter? Most people don't pay attention to anything except being hurt in the wallet. Is there a way to do this to Canada? Can we boycott a product or import that would be enough to make them notice? Please comment if you know.I am posting this after going to current feeling certain someone else already had a... more

study conducted by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has cast doubt over Israel's
survival beyond the next 20 years.
The CIA report predicts "an inexorable movement away from a two-state to a one-state solution, as the most viable model based on democratic principles of full equality that sheds the looming specter of colonial Apartheid while allowing for the return of the 1947/1948 and 1967 refugees. The latter being the precondition for sustainable peace in the region."
The study, which has been made available only to a certain number of individuals, further forecasts the return of all Palestinian refugees to the occupied territories, and the exodus of two million Israeli - who would move to the US in the next fifteen years.
"There is over 500,000 Israelis with American passports and more than 300,000 living in the area of just California," International lawyer Franklin Lamb said in an interview with Press TV on Friday, adding that those who do not have American or western passport, have already applied for them.
"So I think the handwriting at least among the public in Israel is on the wall...[which] suggests history will reject the colonial enterprise sooner or later," Lamb stressed.
He said CIA, in its report, alludes to the unexpectedly quick fall of the apartheid government in South Africa and recalls the disintegration of the Soviet Union in the early 1990s, suggesting the end to the dream of an 'Israeli land' would happen 'way sooner' than later.
The study further predicts the return of over one and a half million Israelis to Russia and other parts of Europe, and denotes a decline in Israeli births whereas a rise in the Palestinian population.
Lamb said given the Israeli conduct toward the Palestinians and the Gaza strip in particular, the American public -- which has been voicing its protest against Tel Aviv's measures in the last 25 years -- may 'not take it anymore'.

Prominent Jews accuse Royal Court play of demonising Israelis
A coalition of prominent British Jews has condemned the Royal Court Theatre for showing a play that is said to demonise Israelis.
In a letter published in today's Daily Telegraph, they claim the production of Seven Jewish Children: A Play for Gaza reinforces "false stereotypes" by portraying Israeli parents as "inhuman triumphalists" who teach their children that "Arabs must be hated".
The leading figures from the Jewish community accuse the theatre in Sloane Square, west London, of being "unbalanced" by staging a play critical of Jews after its associate director, Ramin Gray, admitted recently that he would be reluctant to put on a work that attacked Islam.
They also accuse the playwright, Caryl Churchill, of writing a play that is "historically inaccurate" by depicting a one-sided view of the conflicts between Israeli and Palestinian forces.
More than 60 leading British Jews have put their names to the letter including Professor Geoffrey Alderman, the Michael Gross Professor of Modern History at the University of Buckingham; Ronald Harwood, the Oscar-winning screenwriter; Lord Janner of Braunstone, the Labour peer; Maureen Lipman, the actress; Tracy-Ann Oberman, who starred in EastEnders; and several rabbis.
Their intervention comes after The Board of Deputies of British Jews called the play "horrifically anti-Israel", as the Telegraph disclosed last week, and the Jewish Chronicle claimed it was anti-Semitic.
The 10-minute play, which closes on Saturday, was written in response to the recent conflict in Gaza and purports to tell the history of Israel through a series of dialogues between Jewish adults about what they should tell their children. It ends with a collection for the charity Medical Aid For Palestinians.
The theatre admitted the play was critical of Israel but denied this meant that it was anti-Semitic.Prominent Jews accuse Royal Court play of demonising Israelis

Amnesty urges arms embargo on Israel, Gaza
Rights group says both Israel and Hamas used weapons supplied from overseas to carry out attacks on civilians.
LONDON - A comprehensive arms embargo must be placed on Israel, Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups in the aftermath of the recent conflict in Gaza and southern Israel, Amnesty International said on Monday.
The London-based human rights group said it had found evidence that Israel and Hamas had both used weapons supplied from overseas to carry out attacks on civilians, accusing both sides of committing war crimes during the three-week conflict at the start of the year.
It called for the UN Security Council to impose an arms embargo until mechanisms were put in place to ensure that military equipment was not used to commit violations of international law.
"Israeli forces used white phosphorus and other weapons supplied by the USA to carry out serious violations of international humanitarian law, including war crimes," said Donatella Rovera, who headed an Amnesty fact-finding mission to southern Israel and Gaza.
"Their attacks resulted in the death of hundreds of children and other civilians, and massive destruction of homes and infrastructure."
Rovera added: "At the same time, Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups fired hundreds of rockets that had been smuggled in or made of components from abroad at civilian areas in Israel.Amnesty urges arms embargo on Israel, Gaza

Kill! Kill! Kill!, Ex-Marine tells his story about US brutality in Iraq
Former staff sergeant Jimmy Massey explains why US faces bloody insurgency in Iraq.
PARIS - US military training has created troops so desensitised to violence that battleground brutality in Iraq is rampant -- and has helped fuel the bloody insurgency seen there today, a new book released Thursday in France by a former Marine says.
Jimmy Massey, a former staff sergeant, said that the daily attacks now doled out to US-led forces and Iraqi civilians are "because of the brutality that the Iraqi people saw at the start of the invasion."
In his book, " Kill! Kill! Kill!", he says he and other Marines in his unit killed dozens of unarmed Iraqi civilians because of an exaggerated sense of threat, and that they often experienced sexual-type thrills doing so.
The book was being released first in France -- and in French -- because, he said, "I didn't find an American publisher."
The French journalist who helped him write the work, Natasha Saulnier, said she believed the US companies were reluctant to touch the book because its "controversial" nature threatened commercial interests and the US public's image of their fighting forces.
Massey, who left Iraq in May 2003 shortly after US President George W. Bush declared "mission accomplished", wrote the book after being discharged from the Marines with a diagnosed case of post-trauma stress syndrome.
