The GMO Population Cull ... Getting Away With Murder - David Icke Website
The US Food and Drug Administration said: ‘We know of no information showing that the foods created from these new methods differ in any meaningful or uniform way.' It was a big lie, a statement of sheer insanity, and people like FDA/Monsanto double agent, Michael Taylor, knew it.
A lawsuit later brought to light 44,000 internal FDA documents which revealed that GMO can produce allergies, toxins, new diseases, antibiotic-resistant diseases, nutritional problems and cancer-causing agents. They also confirmed that scientists and experts at the FDA had said that GMO food was different from that produced normally and therefore had different risks. The effect on human health in GMO-soaked America has since proved catastrophic and potentially genocidal.
How come, then, that the FDA said publicly that there was no difference between non-GMO food and that produced with GMO, especially by Monsanto, which has led to the FDA not requiring independent safety checks on GMO products? One of the key people responsible for taking that line was Michael Taylor, the number two at the FDA, a former attorney to Monsanto and later a Monsanto Vice-President for Public Policy.
Taylor was also at the US Department of Agriculture between 1994 and 1996 and in his government roles he was highly influential in the decision not to insist that GMO had to be labelled which has denied the public the free choice to eat or not eat GMO food.
All this must have cost the lives of multiple millions of people and animals since then and caused suffering to untold numbers who have had their health devastated by GMO. It was also Taylor at the FDA who ensured that Monsanto’s genetically-engineered bovine growth hormone (rbGH/rbST) could be injected into cows to increase milk production without any labelling for people to make a choice.
He also wrote a paper saying that if producers of milk without the growth hormone labelled their milk as such they should be mandated to include a disclaimer from the FDA saying that there was no difference between milk with bovine growth hormone and milk without it.
Taylor has been described as possibly being responsible for 'more food-related illnesses and deaths than anyone in history'.
This man should be in jail with the key thrown mid-Atlantic, but where is he now? He was appointed by Obama to be his ‘food safety czar’ in charge of all United States food safety policy at the FDA and is now Senior 'Advisor' [yeah, right] to the Commissioner of the FDA. Taylor’s policy is Monsanto’s policy and there can be no greater confirmation that corporations control governments than Taylor's career with Monsanto and government agencies which are supposed to protect us from Monsanto.
This is why Big Biotech is getting virtually all that it wants from the FDA while organic farmers and growers and small farms in general are being destroyed by a mass of new and ludicrous laws on the grounds of 'food safety' imposed by FDA SWAT teams made up of monumental goons with guns in their hands and air in their heads.

First, the good news. Just below the surface, there's an enormous political shift underway in America that's going to sweep the far right reactionaries out of power - and put moderates and progressives back in control. The bad news is...all hell will likely break loose before this happens. Think about it - major political shifts in America have occured in reaction to major economic crises. The Stock Market Crash of 1929 and Great Depression put an end to ten years of free-market, corporate Republican rule in the 1920's - and gave way to the New Deal Revolution and a huge political shift to the left. Similarly - several decades later - the economic crisis caused by problems in the Middle East and the oil embargo in the late 1970's gave way to the Reagan Revolution - and massive political shift to the right.
Here we are today - again in the midst of another economic crisis and subsequent political shift. The financial meltdown of 2007 and 2008 swung the pendulum back to the Left - with Barack Obama winning the presidency - and Democrats gaining big majorities in the House and Senate. It was 1932 all over again. Yes - the 2010 midterm happened - and Congress snapped back to the Right. But that was an anomaly. It was fueled by racism - it was made possible by the Supreme Court's Citizens United decision - and as we see today looking at polls and the failure of the Mitt Romney campaign - we probably won't continue to swing hard right in 2012. Instead, over the next few years - the United States will move to the Left in response to three decades of failed Reaganomics and so-called "free trade" policies that crashed our economy - and because the Right continues to endorse these same policies today. And lawmakers in Washington are aware of what's happening.First, the good news. Just below the surface, there's an enormous political shift... more

Yesterday, someone on the internet decided that President Obama's new campaign image—which features his campaign logo and some red stripes and is reminiscent of the American flag—kind of looks like this photo of a bloody handprint taken after the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya.
Of course it didn't take long before Fox News jumped on board, taking shots at the new image for both appropriating the symbol of the American flag for Obama's own purposes and apparently reminding people of the violence in Libya. Because red is the color of blood, duh.Yesterday, someone on the internet decided that President Obama's new campaign... more

After the last several weeks can you really blame a Republican if they want to drink a little to avoid the reality of Mitt Romney's self destruction? Maybe if Romney suddenly develops a conscience or a bit of self awareness he might be able to salvage his campaign but the odds of that happening are about the same as him ever becoming President. Although it's still a possibility after all Bush JR was elected one and half times. Mitt Romney currently trails President Obama among registered Latino voters by nearly 40%, and getting caught saying things like "it would be helpful to be Latino" certainly isn't helping.
But has it gotten so bad that Romney is now resorting to "brownface" in order to make himself more appealing to Univision viewers? Democratic Underground has looked at the photo above from last night's "presidential forum" and concluded that, yes, Romney definitely "dyed his face brown."
Wonkette wonders if perhaps the GOP nominee was involved in some sort of "self-tanner accident" or perhaps went out tanning with John Boehner "for a little pick-me-up."
Mitt Romney is certainly looking more crispy than usual, but is that enough to call him out for, as Gossip On This put it, trying to win "browning points"? Maybe he's just putting his Snooki love to practice.Mitt Romney currently trails President Obama among registered Latino voters by nearly... more

In their short work week before heading out of town, Senate Republicans decided to give the finger to veterans, using a procedural vote to kill the Veterans Jobs Corp Act, 58-40.
The Veterans Jobs Corp Act would have created new job-training programs to help veterans find work in targeted fields such as national park conservation, historic preservation projects, police work and firefighting, among others.
The unemployment rate for Iraq, Afghanistan and Gulf War II-era Veterans—those who would have most benefitted from the bill—is now at 10.9 percent, but Republicans blocked this bill because they don't want anything that could remotely help anyone to happen under President Obama's watch.
That, and they don't really give a shit about veterans, much like Mitt Romney, who called the men and women fighting in Afghanistan items on a laundry list.
That's just how Republicans are.
1:34 PM PT: The White House responds:
No veteran who fought for our nation should have to fight for a job at home, but Republicans in Washington are blocking a common sense plan to create the Veterans Jobs Corps and put tens of thousands of veterans back to work.
Working with Democrats and Republicans in Congress, the Obama Administration has already made real progress to help veterans find jobs. We passed tax credits to encourage employers to hire veterans and released new tools to connect veterans with employers. And thanks to the First Lady and Dr. Biden’s Joining Forces Initiative, more than 2,000 businesses have hired or trained more than 125,000 veterans and military spouses in the past year. But we can do more and Senate Republicans should not block legislation that includes many of their ideas and stand between veterans and good jobs protecting and preserving America. In their short work week before heading out of town, Senate Republicans decided to... more

Monumental Act of Cowardice! -- Last month, Pennsylvania Judge Robert Simpson upheld Pennsylvania’s Republican voter ID law, one of the strictest in the country, and a law that Republicans admitted was enacted to “allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania.” The ACLU appealed the judges ruling and took the matter to the state’s Supreme Court, which vacated Simpson’s order on Tuesday, and, in a show of monumental cowardice, bounced the matter back to the lower court, with instructions to review the implementation of access to the identification stipulated by the law...

This is just remarkable. And it may be the 7th Sign.
I try not to read David Brooks any more than I have to because every time I do I wind up wanting to throw things. Through the years he has established himself as one of the most reliably disingenuous, dishonest propagandists on the GOP payroll, a fork-tongued weasel who can’t say hello without lying. And BAM! Here, without warning or precedent, he smacks us in the lips us with the truest thing I’ve read in days. This is just remarkable. And it may be the 7th Sign.

Mitt Romney’s ill thought out and irrational response to the events in the Middle East and Africa show just how poorly he is prepared to deal with foreign affairs. If he truly wants to be the leader of all Americans then he needs to stop blaming the President for everything from the Fall of the Roman Empire to the chaos in the Middle East and Africa and actually propose some well thought out ideas. His comments only make things worse. You don't put Gasoline on a burning fire. Despite his differences with the President he should refrain from commenting about world events until he has all the information.Mitt Romney’s ill thought out and irrational response to the events in the... more

Interesting analysis from the Guardian.
By continuing to appeal to white voters -- and pretty much just white voters -- the Republican party is sealing its doom, at least in the long run. Whites will be a minority in the U.S. in the next few years.
Romney gets 0 percent of the black vote in a recent WSJ poll (yeah, 0 percent) and only 32 percent of the Latino vote. To win, he needs at least 61 percent of the white vote ... and a 74 percent white voter turnout. McCain got 55 percent of the white vote.
"The tension between the projection of a modern, inclusive, tolerant (Republican) party and the reality of a sizeable racially intolerant element within its base pining for the restoration of white privilege is neither new nor accidental. Indeed, it in no small part explains the trajectory of the Republican party for almost the last half century. In his diary, Richard Nixon's chief-of-staff, Bob Haldeman, described how his boss spelled out the racial contours of a new electoral game-plan to win southern and suburban whites over to the Republican party in the wake of the civil rights era. "You have to face the fact that the whole problem is really the blacks," Nixon told him. "The key is to devise a system that recognises that while not appearing to.""

In Florida for his bus tour on Sunday, President Barack Obama made an unannounced stop at Big Apple Pizza and Pasta in Ft. Pierce. There, the shop's owner, Scott Van Duzer, lifted the president off the ground:

He ain't heavy, he's my brother
With many a winding turn
That leads us to who knows where
Who knows when
But I'm strong
Strong enough to carry him
He ain't heavy, he's my brother
So on we go
His welfare is of my concern
No burden is he to bear
We'll get there
For I know
He would not encumber me
He ain't heavy, he's my brother
If I'm laden at all
I'm laden with sadness
That everyone's heart
Isn't filled with the gladness
Of love for one another
It's a long, long road
From which there is no return
While we're on the way to there
Why not share
And the load
Doesn't weigh me down at all
