Every once in a while, an advert comes along that's so good, it's OK to talk about it online without people accusing you of being on the payroll and sending bags of human poop to your house. In the wake of fluorescent bouncing balls and drumming gorillas, the Old Spice adverts (1 and 2) swept in out of nowhere in a haze of dad-scent and wowed the internet, even prompting videos exploring how they were made.
This week the company has paid for a promoted topic on Twitter. Not bad but nothing special... until the Old Spice Guy started replying personally, via video, to hundreds of people Tweeting about Old Spice.
The whole lot can be viewed on Old Spice's YouTube channel but here's some of the best ones.

In a yet unaired episode of the technology show Diggnation, filmed during the SXSW (South by Southwest) conference in Austin, Texas this weekend, Rose explained (video below) how the copy and paste function will be integrated in the iPhone 3.0 OS.
According to Rose, to copy or cut a word with the upcoming iPhone 3.0 OS, you have to double tap on a word and a magnifier bubble will appear on screen (similar to the cursor magnifier when typing) with two quote marks at the beginning and the end of the word. You can then drag the quote marks around to select how much text you want to copy and three options will pop on screen --allowing you to cut, copy or paste. In a yet unaired episode of the technology show Diggnation, filmed during the SXSW... more
