That’s right, Political Championship Wrestling will be in Midway, GA this Monday night for another politically extreme edition of PCW Extreme Political TV.
Midway, GA, of course, is known for their no nonsense, law and order attitude. Just look at this…
3 girls sitting just off the road selling lemonade. Suddenly, screeching tires can be heard down the road.
A SWAT van and several police cars pull up to the lemonade stand.
A stream of SWAT personnel exit the back of the van and surround the stand.
Midway Police Chief Kelly Morningstar gets out of his police car with a bullhorn. “ATTENTION GIRLS OPERATING UNAUTHORIZED LEMONADE STAND.”
“We’re right here,” says one of the girls.
“YOU DO NOT HAVE A PROPER BUSINESS LICENSE OR THE REQUIRED PEDDLERS OR FOOD PERMITS TO RUN YOUR BUSINESS.”
“I mean, we’re right in front of you,” says another girl.
“WE DON’T KNOW HOW YOUR LEMONADE WAS MADE. WE DON’T KNOW WHO MADE THE LEMONADE OR WHAT’S IN IT.”
“Really, we’re right in front of you.”
“WE ARE CLOSING YOU DOWN, I REPEAT, CLOSING YOU DOWN.”
The SWAT team remove the girls, wraps yellow ‘police line do not cross’ tape around the stand…
…and drinks the rest of the lemonade.

WASHINGTON, DC - If there's one fact viewers are likely to come away with after watching the Bill Clinton post-presidency documentary President of the World (airing Monday at 10 p.m. Eastern on MSNBC), it's that the host of the program Chris Matthews really, really likes Bill Clinton.
"What can I say? I just love everything about the guy," gushed Matthews. "His smile, that laugh, the way he makes a person feel like he understands their pain. Just thinking about him makes me tingly all over."
The Hardball special chronicles the work Clinton has done at home and abroad since leaving the White House in 2001. Sequences of Clinton in Haiti, Africa and elsewhere are interspersed between long, lingering close-up shots of Clinton, or footage of the former President sleeping. In one particularly voyeuristic moment, the camera catches Clinton changing his clothes for a gala event. "I wanted to show the world a side of Bill Clinton they haven't seen before," said Matthews. "The side of Clinton only described in the Starr Report. I really wanted to expose Bill Clinton and lay him bare for all the world to see, birthmarks and all."
Though fawning in his praise of the former President, Matthews was quick to defend his documentary against those who would call it a puff piece. "Anyone who's watched my show knows I've been hard on Bill Clinton. Nothing's changed. I'm hard on him right now."

MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews appeared on Morning Joe, Friday, to slam President Obama's handling of the escalating crisis in Egypt, saying it made him ” ashamed as an American .” Matthews, who famously declared Obama gave him a “thrill” up his leg, excoriated what he perceived to be the President's disloyalty to Egypt's leader, Hosni Mubarak. The Hardball host berated, ” And Barack Obama, as much I support him in many ways, there is a transitional quality to the guy that is chilling.” He added, “I believe in relationships…You treat your friends a certain way. You're loyal to them.” Matthews has previously lauded the authoritarian Mubarak.. Pointing out Mubarak's stand against Hezbollah and other extremist elements in the region, the anchor on January 31 wondered, “How can you say he'll easily be replaced? This guy's the George Washington of peace over there.” [See video below.] Deriding immediate calls for Mubarak to step down, Matthews lamented, “Character and planning…I feel shame about this. I feel ashamed as an American, the way we're doing this. I know he has to change. I know we're for democracy, but the way we've handled it is not the way a friend handles a matter.”MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews appeared on Morning Joe, Friday, to slam President... more
Chris Matthews struck back at Glenn Beck on his Wednesday show, deriding his Fox News rival in two different segments and calling him "looney tunes" and the "#1 exploiter of fear."
Last week, Beck exploded at Matthews on his radio show, yelling for minutes about Matthews' denigration of Michele Bachmann.
In his first segment, Matthews brought on Salon's Joan Walsh and Mother Jones' David Corn to talk about Beck's latest theory: that the Egyptian uprising is a terrible thing and could lead to an Islamic caliphate across the Middle East and even into Europe.
Matthews said that the theory was meant to "distract us from any kind of serious conversation that might involve thought." He continued, "this is, I do not use the term lightly, looney tunes."
Matthews also referenced Beck's use of a chainsaw and a bunny rabbit as props last week. "I don't know about a guy's psychological or mental or even emotional condition...why did you want us to think that was what you were gonna do?" he said. He then mocked the famous line from "Network," saying Beck's would be "I'm crazy as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore."

Mark Levin's $100,000 Challenge to Chris Matthews
Conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin has put out a stunning challenge to those left-wing media personalities accusing conservative talk radio stars and Sarah Palin of encouraging murder.
First, he offered $100,000 to Chris Matthews to find any example where Sarah Palin or Levin himself had "promoted the murder of anybody."
The direct challenge to Matthews took place shortly after Levin had played clips of Matthews suggesting Levin's passionate radio shows were "angry" and apparently implying that Levin's shows and those of talker Michael Savage had some responsibility for the Tucson murders. The allegation came on the heels of a specific allegation by left-wing Pima County Sheriff insisting Rush Limbaugh was at fault, while MSNBC's Keith Olbermann demanded Palin "repudiate her own part in amplifying violence and violent imagery in politics."
Said Levin, who is also a considerable lawyer in his role as head of the landmark Legal Foundation:
"I challenge Chris Matthews, I'll put $100,000 on the table, to find any example where Sarah Palin has promoted the murder of anybody," said Levin -- specifically excluding terrorists and the Taliban. http://spectator.org/blog/2011/01/13/mark-levins-100000-challenge-tMark Levin's $100,000 Challenge to Chris Matthews

Ok, first we had the Homeland Security warning that crazy white people were going to try and kill police officers and bomb more federal buildings, and now a former Clinton adviser saying that a good way for Obama to "re-connect with Americans" would be a media terror event like like the OKC bombing.
This evening, MSNBC host Chris Matthews hosted Rep. Jim Moran (D-VA) and Mark Penn — former Hillary Clinton campaign adviser and current Burson-Marsteller CEO — to discuss the results of this week’s elections. The three talked about what they believed the Democrats need to do differently in order to win elections in the future.
Penn suggested that President Bill Clinton was provided an opportunity with the Oklahoma City bombing to “reconnect” with voters. In a clumsy, ham-handed way, Penn then suggested that perhaps Obama needs his own similar event — like the domestic terror attack in OK City — to reconnect with Americans:Ok, first we had the Homeland Security warning that crazy white people were going to... more
In the former Soviet Union, dissidents were called "enemies of the state" by the ruling apparatchiks and imprisoned for posing a threat to the ruling order. In addition, dissidents were branded as mentally ill and confined to a psychiatric ward so they could be "cured" of their anti-state thoughts. Ironically, in America today the mass media are performing a similar task as the thugs who enslaved the Russians and other ethnic groups for nearly seventy five years by insinuating that critics of the federal government are "dangerous" and mentally unbalanced.
America's mass media questioned the mental health of Republican presidential nominee Senator Barry Goldwater in 1964, while some in the media opined that President Richard Nixon was "losing it" during the Watergate scandal.
But the real assault on critics of the welfare-warfare state began in earnest during the 2008 GOP primary, when Rep. Ron Paul of Texas was called everything but a child molester for proposing to downsize the federal government to its constitutional functions and supporting the withdrawal of American troops from the Middle East and around the world, because the federal government's disastrous bipartisan interventionist foreign policy was draining the federal treasury and killing innocent victims by the thousands and inflaming hatred against America. For his bluntness and despite his plain spoken manner, Rep. Paul was vilified and called a "nut" among other things.
Instead of having a civil discussion of the issues, many in the media demonized Rep. Paul's free market, limited government agenda, calling it "racist," "unpatriotic," "anti-poor" and of course, the ultimate insult, "paranoid." The pseudo intellectuals on cable talk shows and in their newspaper and magazine columns reveal that they worship in the temple of Big Government. The welfare state is their Bible, while the progressive income tax, the Federal Reserve and the "holy war on terror" are their commandments, which must be defended against all "nonbelievers" with insults and character assassination.
Not to be outdone, establishment pundits are now hurling invectives against any of the Tea Party supported candidates who dare to suggest that maybe Social Security and Medicare, the federal government's two Ponzi schemes, should be phased out; that the Departments of Energy and Education should be abolished; and that the federal government should be constrained by the Constitution. Heresy, say the media defenders of statism. Anyone not hewing to the catechism of big government, pontificate the pundits, must be "crucified" in print and on talk shows, declared an enemy of the state and a "nut job."
Too be sure, there are flawed Tea Party candidates, who embrace the ‘war on terror" as much as any neoconservative in America. But it is verboten say the media apparatchiks, to challenge the welfare state, the Federal Reserve and the federal government's Ponzi programs.
Despite their leftist ideology, Frank Rich, Maureen Dowd, Chris Matthews, Eugene Robinson, Paul Krugman, Bob Herbert, E.J Dionne, Lawrence O'Donnell and countless others who keep the flame of collectivism lit while the welfare state is collapsing all around the world, are on the wrong side of history. Statism is a bankrupt ideology. Liberty will emerge once again in America as the prevailing philosophy sooner than the punditocracy realizes.

Rand Paul received help from a surprising source, today, when Chris Matthews of MSNBC's "Hardball" skewered Jack Conway on the relevance, if any, on something done in college 30 years ago. More than that, Matthews drilled Conway on whether Conway's ad was intended to cast doubt on Paul as "a man of faith" and whether that was important to qualifications as a Senator.
Following is a transcript excerpt of the questions about faith Chris Matthews asked Conway. (see video in sidebar with clip of ad)
Chris Matthews: What's the purpose of an ad that talks about someone's behavior thirty years (ago) in what may have been a hazing incident? We don't know. It's very murky. And it raises questions about his religious faith because in this ad you ask
Why does he want to take away tax deductions for religion?
Is he in fact mocking Christianity in that organization that he joined thirty years ago?
Is he saying that the Bible is a hoax?
Do you believe that he is a man of faith, your opponent?
Jack Conway: I'm not questioning his faith.
Matthews: Do you believe he's a man of faith?
Conway: I'm not questioning his faith ...
Matthews: No, but do you believe he's a man of faith?
Conway: I'm not questioning his faith; I'm questioning his actions. I'm questioning his actions.
Matthews: What's the connection between what he did in college thirty years ago and his position on tax deductions for religious organizations? You're drawing a connection the connection here. I think it questions his faith.
In Matthews' machine gun staccato style of interviewing, he riddled Conway, punching holes in Conway's premise that the ad was relevant because of positions he took today.
Before the interview ended, Matthews made sure his national television audience understood , that in Matthews' opinion, this ad was never about a position Rand Paul has on government policy but a direct assault on Paul's faith.

Obama’s Oil Speech Panned: Short On Details, Yet Again…
WASHINGTON — Vowing to “make BP pay,” President Barack Obama accused the oil giant of “recklessness” in his first address to the nation from the Oval Office Tuesday night, eight weeks to the day after the catastrophic oil spill began destroying waterways, wildlife and a prized Gulf Coast way of life.
Things I learned tonight from watching Keith Olbermann’s and Chris Matthews’s post-speech wrap-up:

Judging by how well this McCarthyism mash-up (via The Huffington Post and comprised of McCarthy-era footage and claims that Obama and company are a band of Communists from the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh) plays, I'd say we're a stone's throw away from Congressional hearings.
Don't think so? At around the 6:05 mark, footage taken from the Chris Matthews helmed Hardball (from last October) features Congresswoman Michele Bachmann laying out what she would like to see occur:
"What I would say is that the news media should do a penetrating expose and take a look, I wish they would, I wish the American media would take a great look at the views of the people in Congress and take a look at whether they are pro-America, or anti-America. I think people would love to see an expose like that."
