He added the hectic pace of modern life often prevented people from having a quality conversation."-Telegraph

The Telegraph has run an interesting piece by an expat writer who's recently been placed in Paris.
Emily Rose writes that while Paris may be known as the city of love, it's also the capital of perverts. She says all you have to do is be female and walk down the street - this will more than likely get you catcalls from dirty old men and propositions from several others. She even claims to have spotted men having a wank in broad daylight by the open-air public pissoires.
In her article she asks if anyone can explain this phenomenon. Have any Current readers out there spent a lot of time in Paris? Anyone have any idea why Frenchmen are oh-so-pervy?The Telegraph has run an interesting piece by an expat writer who's recently been... more

According to the metro:
"The way a drinker holds their glass reveals their personality and can hold the key to chatting them up, a study has found. Bar-goers' body language places them in one of eight groups – flirt, gossip, fun-lover, ice queen, wallflower, Jack the lad, playboy or browbeater. Each holds their drink differently and this shows how approachable they are"

Whether single or taken, flirting is fun. Getting hitched helps out in the tax and health care departments, but married social life can start to feel like a blur of "dinner at the Newman's" and "girls' nights out." We already know that flirting at the office helps business and is good for substance-free spirit-lifting. Unlike flirting with single blokes, hair flips and deep conversations with married guys aren't automatic green lights for making a move. Here are ten other reasons to flirt with a man in a (wedding) band.Whether single or taken, flirting is fun. Getting hitched helps out in the tax and... more
