It's on! From September 1 onward, MUNI riders and drivers are engaging in a social strike. Riders won't pay, and drivers won't collect, until ALL fare hikes, service cuts, and layoffs are reversed.

It makes centrally planned Soviet transportation seem timely and reasonable by comparison. Can anyone explain to me why most of the trains on N-Judah are so jammed in the morning that even Tokyo style subway pushers couldn't fit me in? And why can't my train ever seem to make it to 2nd & King? Folsom is not a terminus!
