A Thai woman accused of butchering and eating her two young sons has claimed she was hallucinating and thought they were pigs.
She allegedly cooked and ate her sons aged one and five and was found by police sleeping in her home surrounded by body parts.
The woman is a member of the Musur hill tribe who live in the mountainous region of Chiang Main near the Burmese border.

WINDSOR CASTLE -- Known as her principal weekend retreat, Windsor Castle was largely renovated by Queen Elizabeth II when she stormed the throne in 1952. Over the years, inside sources have revealed snippets of telling details that, when put together, depict a very strange woman zipping through widened, archaic castle halls on a souped up motor scooter, while gnashing her crooked, pointy teeth. But nobody with any credibility had alluded to the prepared strips of human meat in her freezer.
An exiled cultural philosopher named Hubert Humdinger called the Queen "violently vibrant" and "packed with more energy than the sun". He said it at a small dinner party, and nobody in attendance remembers that he did, except for him. Humdinger also offered his analysis in 1973 about how the Queen could be so energetic. "She must eat human flesh," he wrote bluntly in an article for We Royalty magazine, "to be so vivacious. There is an immense amount of spiritual energy in human muscle." He also hinted at the royal family engaging in Satanic rituals and bloodlust.
Humdinger's career slowly degenerated after that, especially as he called Madonna the Whore of Babylon, and suggested that if she wanted shinier skin like Queen Elizabeth II, she ought to be a cannibal as well. As Humdinger was chased from the stuffy, chemically-cleaned halls of Academia, his words are now, almost 40 years later, redeemed. Unfortunately, his books and literary articles have long been destroyed in the blazing fires of tyranny over freedom of expression and quirky truth.
SURPRISED TO FIND...
A serviceman was given clearance last week to investigate possible "electrical problems" in the Castle's Eastside kitchen area. The serviceman, accompanied by three pre-cleared English constables, poked around the kitchen and found a nest of faulty wiring behind the old refrigerator. He would have to call in the rest of his team, assuming the royal family would clear them for entrance. Meanwhile, the Queen was out speed boating in France.
Before leaving, the serviceman (who refused to give his name to the media) opened the Queen's private freezer. "I wanted to check how chilled it was. I wasn't sure the freezer was getting enough juice to keep everything as cold as it needed to." But what he found was another issue.
Strips of flayed meat, stretched out like bacon, and carefully packaged in a see-through wrap first caught the serviceman's attention. The constables weren't in the kitchen at the time, but were instead lounging in the Queen's lavish living room. The stuffed heads of reptiles decorate the Queen's personal quarters. A picture of Richard III, with his hunched back, loomed over the officers. He was in the act of fighting off a snarling dog with a cane. The dog's snout was frozen forever in the act of lashing out at the wicked king, as if he, Richard, held links of blood sausage in his free hand.
When the serviceman walked out of the kitchen, he saw the three constables lined in a row. The last one scratched the back of the middle one, and middle man scratched the back of the first. "He seemed to be happiest of all," the serviceman said, "and the guy in the back was bloody bitching about doing work without getting reward."
The serviceman interrupted them to ask if they'd peek in the freezer with him. He was shaking and the look on his face suggested he'd stumbled onto a big problem. "I thought he started a fire or something awful," one constable said, "because he looked like he'd seen Queen bloody Mary."

The riskiest parts of rendered cows aren’t supposed to be fed back to other cows. But they are fed to chickens, whose waste can be fed back to cattle in what one critic calls ‘cow cannibalism.’
By Brad Knickerbocker, Staff writer / April 28, 2012
There appears to be no risk to humans from the dairy cow discovered in California this week to have “mad cow” disease. That’s according to the US Department of Agriculture and the beef industry.
“It is important to reiterate that this animal was never presented for slaughter for human consumption, did not enter food supply channels, and at no time presented any risk to human health,” the USDA said in a statement this week.
But the case involving a 10 year-old Holstein raises questions about how such cattle themselves are fed, which critics say could be part of a dangerous cycle.
Mad cow, known scientifically as bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), is believed to be carried by animal feed made from cattle brains or spinal cord. Such feed is now banned in the US and other countries, but cases of BSE have continued to appear around the world.
The World Health Organization has called for the exclusion of the riskiest tissues (eyes and intestines as well as brains and spinal cord) from all animal feed to protect against the spread of mad cow disease.
Stanley Prusiner, who received the 1997 Nobel Prize in Medicine for discovering the protein associated with BSE has said the US should ban poultry waste in cattle feed as well.
“Unfortunately, the United States still allows the feeding of some of these potentially risky tissues to people, pigs, pets, poultry, and fish,” warns Michael Greger, director of public health and animal agriculture at The Humane Society of the United States.
“Cattle remains are still fed to chickens, for example, and the poultry litter (floor wastes that include the feces and spilled feed) is fed back to cows,” he writes on his Huffington Post blog. “In this way, prions – the infectious proteins that cause mad cow disease – may continue to be cycled back into cattle feed and complete the cow ‘cannibalism’ circuit blamed for the spread of the disease.”
Part of the problem, according to critics, is that only a tiny fraction of slaughtered cows (40,000 out of 35 million a year) are tested for BSE.
In this week’s instance, the cow (which was to be rendered into products other than meat for human consumption) had been unable to stand – a “downer” cow. This raised suspicions, so the cow was tested for BSE. This showed that the current inspection system works, say beef industry supporters.
According to the USDA, the infected animal discovered this week had “atypical BSE,” which means it most likely did not get the disease from eating infected cattle feed. Still, the USDA is tracking feed sources as a possible cause.
This instance of BSE in US cattle has caused some international ripples.
Indonesia suspended its imports of US beef Thursday, two major South Korean retailers pulled US beef from their stores this week, and South Korea's agriculture ministry has stepped up inspections of US beef and requested detailed information on the case.
Taiwan’s Department of Health is seeking permission from US authorities to visit slaughterhouses in the US, Taiwanese officials said Saturday.
"We will lift the ban as soon as the US can assure us its dairy cows are free of mad cow disease," Indonesia's Vice Agriculture Minister Rusman Heriawan told reporters.
"It could be one month or one year," he said. "It depends on how long it takes to resolve this case."
BSE is fatal to cows, and eating tainted meat has been linked to a similar disease in humans known as variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD).
Prior to this week, there were three confirmed cases of BSE in cows in the US – in a Canadian-born cow in 2003 in Washington State, in 2005 in Texas, and in 2006 in Alabama. The riskiest parts of rendered cows aren’t supposed to be fed back to other... more
Hatch’s failure to secure 60% of the convention ballots is largely due to attacks from the Koch brother front group, FreedomWorks, which has targeted Hatch for not being a ‘true’ conservative.
It’s another example of GOP political cannibalism. It’s not enough that the Republican party has destroyed itself with one power grab after another since the 2010 midterm elections, but now they are devouring members of their own party in an attempt by the extremist factions on the Right to do the bidding of their corporate masters.

We may not have the appetite for human-derived gelatin but it has its health benefits, says Andrew Marszal.
Reports last week that researchers could be just six months away from producing the world’s first artificial meat, using thousands of stem cells bred in a laboratory, sent a wave of fascination around the world. Yet there is an even more ghoulish prospect ahead: the idea of eating artificial food made from humans.
This may sound like science fiction, yet a new technique for making gelatin from human DNA is attracting “increasing interest from research and industrial circles”, according to a new study by scientists from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology. The paper, published recently in the Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry, revealed that successful experiments had been carried out in which human genes were inserted into a strain of yeast to “grow” large amounts of recombinant (genetically engineered) human gelatin.
Gelatin has a long history of use as a gelling agent by the food industry – and, according to the journal’s publisher, the American Chemical Society, human-derived gelatin “could become a substitute for some of the 300,000 tons of animal-based gelatin produced annually for desserts, marshmallows, candy and innumerable other products”.
There would be safety issues to consider. When an ice-cream parlour in London began selling flavours derived from human breast milk earlier this year, it was soon withdrawn for hygiene reasons. The Food Standards Agency said: “There would be a restriction on the sale or import of this type of product, because it would require a pre-market safety assessment.”
However, scientists do not believe that the new gelatin product would pose any risk. “There’s a very high degree of similarity between gelatin that comes from a cow, a pig, and a human,” explains Dr David Olsen, senior scientist at FibroGen, which specialises in recombinant gelatins. “So due to their similarities, I can’t see why there would be a health risk to it. It’s a very similar protein to what people have been ingesting for many years.”
In fact, human-derived gelatin is already in use by the pharmaceutical industry in the manufacture of certain pills and vaccines. The highly controlled production techniques of the laboratory offer a more consistent product than “traditional” gelatin, which is made from the bones and skin of pigs and cows. More broadly, human genes are used by pharmaceutical firms in the production of insulin for diabetics, human growth hormone, and erythropoietin, which is used to treat anaemia.
In fact, the Beijing University scientists believe their method offers many health advantages over animal-derived gelatin. Researchers from the Sapporo Medical University of Japan have reported an increase in allergic reactions to animal-derived gelatin in vaccines, but such a response to human material is less likely. Moreover, the risk of gelatin transmitting animal-borne diseases such as BSE would be eliminated.
It remains to be seen, however, whether there is an appetite for human protein among the wider public. Dr Gregory Kaebnick, of the US-based Hastings Center for bioethics and public policy, says the idea of human-derived gelatin “appears to raise the question of cannibalism”, even though such concerns may be misplaced. “The gelatin is not derived from human tissue in the same way that animal gelatin is,” he says. “It’s really derived from yeast – yeast that have been modified with genetic sequences found in human beings.”
This difference may help remove the taboo borne by human-derived food products. “You really wouldn’t see it or recognise it,” says Dr Olsen. “It would almost be part of whatever the food is, and you wouldn’t notice the difference.”
Either way, it won’t appear in the organic aisle any time soon.

Moscow police have detained a man they believe killed, butchered and partially ate one of his acquaintances. Severed parts of the victim’s body have been discovered in various parts of the city since early May.
“I was cleaning the rubbish bin and the container was full,” says street cleaner Sharakhedin Sherkhobelov. “So I tried to press it down. It was then I saw a box covered in plastic bags. I tried to move it and saw some hands sticking out.”
During the search of Nikolay Shadrin’s apartment in the west of Moscow, police discovered a human liver stored in the refrigerator. The suspect himself was eating a dish cooked from it at the moment of his arrest, police spokesman Aleksey Savelyev told the media.
“The detainee told the police that he’d dismembered his friend’s body, kept parts of it and disposed of the rest of it, throwing some parts into the river,” he said.

A depressed New Zealander cut off a finger, cooked it with vegetables and then ate it in a rare case of self-cannibalism, according to a report in the Australasian Psychiatry publication.
The 28-year-old man had not taken drugs or alcohol at the time, the report authors, forensic psychiatrist Erik Monasterio and clinical psychologist Craig Prince, said.
It was one of only eight documented cases of self-cannibalism recorded in the world, Monasterio and Prince said in their report.
After eating one finger the man planned to dine on two more before deciding instead to seek medical treatment where he was diagnosed with moderate symptoms of depression.

They told us when they took our jobs overseas, "No hard feelings. It's just business, you know?"
They told us when they destroyed our 401ks through gambling with our money, "No hard feelings. It's just business, you know?"
They told us when we fell behind on our mortgage and foreclosed on our house, kicking us to the street, "No hard feelings. It's just business, you know?"
As more and more people were forced on welfare, the government's budget started to look grim. When they cut welfare spending entirely so that they could enjoy bigger tax cuts to "stimulate the economy," they told us, "No hard feelings. It's just business, you know?"
Then the poor had nothing left to eat, and no place to go.
So they had to kill and eat the rich.
They descended on Wall Street by the millions, stopping all traffic.
Their numbers were so large, the police couldn't do anything to stop the massive crowd of the disenfranchised. They flooded the buildings of Wall Street, the halls of DC, of the McMansions of Texas, and like a horde of zombies, they tore into the flesh of the horrified wealthy, who screamed and shat themselves, knowing that they were powerless to stop the oncoming mass of gnashing teeth and hungry mouths.
And as the poor picked the bones clean over the burning piles of money, the poor said to the bones:

Much thanks to Davis Fleetwood for making this video about my "Kill & Eat the Rich" campaign.
Now, I want to explain, I don't actually advocate killing and eating the rich. It's just that, like Obama and Hillary talking about nuking Iran-- I just think we should "keep all options on the table."
Speaking of which, I recently saw an old advert for Scott Paper Towels, asking "is your washroom breeding Bolsheviks?"
Which went on to say how harsh paper towels and unsanitary bathroom conditions pissed workers off, and made them more likely to unionize and join the communist party, which one can only assume means that they're going to crash the gates and kill you and all the other board members.
Yes! Once upon a time, people were so scared of the poor that they were willing to do the most basic things to keep them happy.
Like keep the bathroom clean, and buy soft toilet paper.
Just think what the corporate elite would be willing to do for the betterment of humanity if they thought they had to prevent us from killing and eating them?

A prisoner who killed his cellmate and devoured his lung with fried onions put France's troubled prison system under critical new scrutiny Tuesday.
Thirty-nine-year-old Nicolas Cocaign is on trial for the murder of Thierry Baudry, whom he punched, stabbed with a pair of scissors and suffocated with a rubbish bag before cutting him open with a razor blade.
After removing a rib, Cocaign pulled out a lung, which he mistook for his victim's heart, ate part of it raw and then fried the rest of it with onions on a makeshift stove in his cell, prosecutors say.

Insane? An Abuse Victim? A Muslim Husband?
Late last week, Google directed me to a newspaper in Australia (!) where I read about a man who stabbed his wife 250 times; needless to say, he killed her. The report went on to allege that this killer also ate his wife’s liver and lungs while their four year-old daughter watched from the next room. The article also said that this fiend was sentenced to only 15 years to life. It also noted that although this man stabbed his wife 250 times, he hotly denies being a cannibal. That bad he’s not. Even monstrous killers have pride.
What the hell is wrong there Down Under, I wondered. And then—I read the most amazing bit of information. This heinous murder had not taken place in Australia but in my own backyard, in Queens, New York, three years ago, in 2007. And, while the crime and 2010 sentencing were viewed as newsworthy in Australia and India, the sentencing was not covered at all in the (hardcopy) liberal mainstream media.
Well, it does sound more like a National Enquirer story, doesn’t it?
Now, who would commit such a savage murder? Was the murderer a domestic version of Jeffrey Dahmer who raped, murdered, then ate children and young men? But Dahmer and his ilk are not often married to women and do not have children. Well, a serial killer might do this to a girl or woman whom he does not know, someone whom he believes is a prostitute. Again, these psychopaths do not prey upon their wives.
And then, of course, I knew, “racist” that I presumably am, that the murder had probably been committed by a Third World immigrant, let’s say, someone from South Asia, for these are all the pseudonyms for…Muslims and for Muslim terrorists. Sure enough, the murderer’s name is Mohammed Solaiman; his victim’s name was Shahida Sultanna. The New York Post and the Daily News covered the sentencing. The New York Times did not.
Ironically, the Paper of Record did cover this murder, briefly, in 2007, when it happened—but in an article that also covered another Queens-based murder—as if to say that the borough of “Queens” was the true subject. Needless to say, no reporter dared note the murderer’s ethnicity, culture, or religion. It’s anybody’s guess. Clearly, journalists might not view this information as relevant or they may already know that their editors will simply take it out as “racist” profiling.
In court, Solaiman’s lawyer claimed that Solaiman, who was 49 years old at the time of the crime, was an “abused” husband whose 32-year-old wife had verbally and physically “abused” him for six years. While May-December marriages certainly exist in the West, they more closely characterize marriages in the developing and Muslim world.
Of course, the other Mo (Hassan), the husband who beheaded his wife in Buffalo, is also claiming that he was an “abused” husband too. Just like Major Nidal Hasan, Buffalo “Mo” is claiming that he’s the victim and/or that he suffers from some diminished capacity or emotional disturbance brought about by “abuse.”
This is a consistent strategy. A number of Muslim wife-killers and daughter-killers honestly feel that they are the true victims, that their wives abused them and their daughters “dishonored” them—and that, in turn, these adult men felt “attacked,” and were forced to “defend” themselves.
In 1989, Palestina Isa’s father, a St Louis, Missouri-based Abu Nidal terrorist, described how “attacked” he and his family felt by his too-Americanized daughter. Thus, after a lifetime of physical and verbal abuse had failed to tame his daughter, he and his wife stabbed the 16 year-old thirteen times.
As I’ve discovered in my most recent study about honor killings, while there are Hindus and Sikhs who perpetrate honor killings, this is primarily a Muslim-on-Muslim crime. And, these deaths are often very torturous. Worldwide, the torture rate that accompanies a female honor killing is 54%; North America has the lowest torture rate (35%); the Muslim world rate is 51%; Europe has the highest torture rate (68%).
Ellen Sheeley, the author of a study on honor killings in Jordan, wrote to me privately and congratulated me on the study. However, she said that every single honor killing she’d investigated in Jordan was a torture-killing

Did ethnic prejudice spur the now infamous legend of the Donner Party's cannibalism?
* Analysis of bones discovered at the Donner Party campsite found no evidence for cannibalism.
* The members did resort to consuming the family dog, cattle, deer and horses.
* Slate pieces and china shards reveal the members tried to live with dignity.
The Donner Party, a group of 19th century American pioneers who became snowbound in the Sierra Nevada and supposedly resorted to cannibalism, may not have eaten each other after all, suggests a new study on bones found at the Donner's Alder Creek campsite hearth in California.
Detailed analysis of the bones instead found that the 84 Donner Party members consumed a family dog, "Uno," along with cattle, deer and horses. Cattle, likely eaten after the animals themselves died of starvation, appear to have been their mainstay.
The study is the first to show that the Donner members successfully hunted deer, despite the approximately 30 feet of snow on the ground during the winter of 1846-1847. The horses are thought to have come from relief parties that arrived in February and could have left a few of their animals behind.Did ethnic prejudice spur the now infamous legend of the Donner Party's... more
