George Michael is giving the gift of song to Prince William and Kate Middleton — and anyone else who wants to download it.
The musician is making his increadibly cheesy cover of Stevie Wonder's "You and I" available to download for free and hopes fans will make a donation to the Royal Wedding Charity Fund.
Michael debuted the song Friday on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight."
Michael said he spent about two days in the studio crafting the cover and that Wonder provided clearance to distribute the track for free. If you like the track so much you feel the need to put it on your MP3 player click here to download it.
"The idea came to me last week, about a week ago, that I should express my happiness at the marriage publicly," Michael told Morgan.
Michael was a friend of William's mother, the late Princess Diana, but he said he wasn't expecting to attend the April 29 wedding. He tweeted that the couple should be "surrounded by people they love, not dodgy ex-con pop stars." The former Wham! singer spent a month in jail last year for crashing his Range Rover while under the influence of drugs.

The line-up 40th anniversary of the Glastonbury festival - arguably the most famous summer musical event in the world - has been a contentious issue for fans for a couple of years now. The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, a reformed Smiths and even Take That have all been touted as possible headliners. The speculation has ended, at last, with the release of this year's official line-up.
U2, Muse and Stevie Wonder will play Pyramid Stage headline slots on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights while Snoop Dogg, Dizzee Rascal, the Flaming Lips, Vampire Weekend and Pet Shop Boys are amongst the other bands due to perform.
The festival's founder, Michael Eavis, was said he was excited about this year's festival. "This is it! It is the most staggering lineup, to match the 40-year reputation of the festival," he said. "I have been trying to get U2 to play at the festival since 1982, and Muse have never headlined Saturday here, although they have played before."

Hey, Hey, Hey! It’s “Fashion Friday’s!” from www.oneof365.com” This magazine editor has a fun and eclectic wardrobe that she wants to share with you. You get to look at what she’s chosen from her closet this week (fun finds from London, vintage, markets from the globe, designers…) and hear a little history about the brands, how she came about finding the item and a fun tale or two about how she’s gotten her neat duds. A lot of fun because of the reader interaction and the humorous writing. She is a fun read and her blog is so eclectic, she always is coming up with something new (though “Fashion Fridays!” is a weekly staple).
This week is all about being a class act but doing it chicly! The look is really classic with fine details. You could wear this to a tea, a girly event, but you’d stand out for having a great cut, or fine detailing. There is an Elizabeth & James jacket to die for and a Nicole Farhi skirt that looks like a painting. Really stunning pieces.
Enjoy! Great pictures, very humorous and captions too!

This probably comes as no surprise to anyone but I hate the new spawn of Disney Brats that in the last three months have ejaculated all over the U.K.
I've been aware of the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyruses (I have no idea how to plural her surname) of the world for a while now as I watch a lot of American TV and because I'm a student and therefore have way too much free time. I was fine with them staying in America with the crazy Christians and parents who think if there child hears the word fuck they'll be corrupted for life...

Some hail him as a modern-day Nostradamus, others dismiss him as a crackpot. Futurist and famed inventor Ray Kurzweil is the preeminent theorist on the pending fusion of humans and super-intelligent machines as the next phase of evolution, a "singularity" he predicts will occur within 30 years. This fascinating (and at times terrifying) doc explores the personal ideals behind his controversial ideas. Screening at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival. Stevie Wonder picked up a major award at the White House, and Barack and Michelle Obama were treated to a concert from the singer whose music the president says brought the couple together.
The Obamas late Wednesday hosted a concert to honor Wonder, an early and vocal supporter of Obama for president. The president said Wonder provided "the soundtrack of my youth" and helped him find "peace and inspiration, especially in difficult times."
The White House's stately East Room was transformed into an intimate, miniature concert hall for the occasion, in which Obama presented Wonder with the second annual Gershwin Award for Lifetime Achievement from the US Library of Congress.
"I think it's fair to say that had I not been a Stevie Wonder fan, Michelle might not have dated me," Obama told guests that included the singer Will.i.am, a number of US lawmakers and Attorney General Eric Holder.
