Sorry, Bradley Cooper, your reign is over. People magazine has named Channing Tatum the Sexiest Man Alive.
It's no secret that Tatum, 32, has been causing women (and, let's face it, many men) to swoon ever since he showed off his dance moves in 2006's Step Up opposite now-wife Jenna Dewan, but this year he upped the hotness factor exponentially with his super sexy role in Magic Mike.
But Tatum still had a hard time believing the news. He tells People, "My first thought was, 'Y'all are messing with me.'"
First Lady of Sexy, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, now refers to her hubby by his new title - but she knows there's a lot more to him than washboard abs. "People know him to be fun and sexy, but they don't know how emotionally deep and spiritually open he is," she tells the magazine. "He is such an open-hearted person; what you see is what you get."Â
If you're keeping score, Ryan Gosling still has yet to be recognized as People's Sexiest Man. Last year, the oversight drew protesters outside the magazine's New York office. Wonder if they'll stage a similar demonstration this year?

All things come down to a choice, a fork in the road, yes or no, now or later, this not that, more or less. With each song I create there are literally thousands of decisions and adjustments from inception to release. Decision making is the process that paves our path in life. If we make elegant choices even from humble beginnings, existence becomes less of a struggle and we can open to what’s next. In other words, you make your own luck. Choice is the engine of creation, of change and we’re the self determined hamsters on our own personal wheel of fortune. Since the sum of my choices equals the life I lead, the real goal is to make informed decisions that produce the desired result. http://infinitetolerance.com/places/infinity-choices-truthful-voices/All things come down to a choice, a fork in the road, yes or no, now or later, this... more
There’s always a danger when, as the publicity material for “Arthur” says, a film takes a “fresh new look a classic story.” In addition to the pit fall of redundancy (is it possible to take a fresh old look at a classic story?), it always leaves begging the question, Why?
That is the question with the new edition of Arthur, which “fixes” a film that wasn’t broke.

Turns out director Joe Johnston wasn't satisfied with the same ol' same ol' to explain why Benicio Del Toro is waxing all hairy and toothy in The Wolfman. Nope, no simple stroll-on-the-moors, random-wolf-bite, go-wild-at-moonrise for Toro's Lawrence Talbot. Instead, a family curse has been thrown into the mix, all the better to generate a piquant sense of doom even before Larry manifests an irrepressible urge to howl.
The curse that trips its way through the branches of a family tree is a great means to get to an audience's gut. We are, after all, consigned to what we're handed by our forebears, and whether such inheritances stem from genetics or upbringing, most of us have a vested interest in seeing if a protagonist can escape his/her own destiny. Pushing into the background our own concerns over those pentagram-shaped birthmarks on our hips, we started checking out all the ways that filmmakers have managed to bequeath their characters the gifts that keep on giving (and that rank as a bit more dire than thinning hairlines or thickening bellies).
Here, then, we offer up Family Be Damned: Top 10 Cursed Movie Characters. Warning: You might want to consider DNA screening afterward:
