Forced adoption targets were a flawed policy, but do you realise how flawed?
The governments own figures, show all children in care would automatically have to be adopted to achieve these targets.
What, not even one parent could keep their child?
No child, even in temporary care, could be returned to its mother?
How flawed is this policy, its beyond comprehension.

Care Homes Breed Crime.
Time to reconsider our policy of taking children into care. In the UK, we think of Care as positive. Perhaps, its not good for the child at all. So what then?
Lets work with parents instead, to keep kids out of Care Homes.
Every child deserves better.

The only way to reduce crime, is to reduce the numbers of children we take into care.
Children are being taken on the basis of "may harm". How can you defend yourself against "may harm"? No actual harm to the child has occurred. Often, the baby is only 10 mins old, when it is taken into care.
Mums are fleeing the UK to protect their unborn children.
What can we say?
Have we persuaded you?

Secrecy operates as a "sect" with our courts, and ordinary people would be shocked at what they consider "reasonable".
They are now so far away from Justice, as to be causing uproar.
The UN has been notified that these Secret Courts are breaching the Human Rights of British Citizens.
Let's hope we win at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).

This is a long story so I will keep it short. Basically I turned a guy into America's Most Wanted and the FBI when I discovered who he was. This man had been hiding out at my parent's home in Florence, Oregon for four years. This link is to the capture story on AMW's website. His parent's, Lawrence and Delores Weaver, were charged with aiding and abetting him. My father and I are suing his parents to hold them accountable for the damage they did. They took out a credit card in his assumed name of "David Carson" and regularly called my parent's home to inquire about Gordon, but his mother Delores pretended to be an imaginary aunt named Rita.
Gordon murdered his wife first by shoving her so that her head hit a concrete wash basin in the basement of their home then he set her still alive body on fire. The family dog died in the fire because he had been locked in a closet upstairs.
Gordon's now deceased wife, Jean Weaver, was remembered by her family and friends as a very loving and wonderful woman. Gordon cut her life short after she announced she was divorcing him. Gordon is a control freak and he exercised the ultimate act of control over her life by taking it.
His arrest devastated our family and resulted in my parents getting a divorce. My mother has now moved to Iowa to be closer to her sisters and to Gordon who is in Prison and so she can be near his parents to look in on them from time to time. Gordon's adoptive parents are in their eighties and his father is suffering from Alzheimer's.
There are numerous stories floating around on the internet, just search for Gordon Weaver or Jon Jaramillo.
Dateline NBC just shot a series of interviews about this story and the show will air sometime in December 2007 or January 2008.

Racism, spiritual terrorism and the loss of Indigenous culture are among numerous social issues targeted by the Turtle Island Project, founded in northern Michigan in August 2007.
Two Midwest pastors started the Turtle Island Project because the world is sitting on the brink of important cultural, economic and religious issues that will either allow humans to prosper in harmony with the Earth or become the only species to cause its own extinction.
Rev. Dr. Lynn Hubbard and Rev. Dr. George Cairns say some if not many Christians belittle the knowledge and heritage of Indigenous cultures like Native Americans, Celts and other centuries-old religions/beliefs aligned with nature and the environment.
They believe we can all learn a lot about nature and the environment by listening to Earth-based cultures.
Rev. Hubbard is a Lutheran pastor. Rev. Cairns is an ordained United Church of Christ minister.
Both have extensive backgrounds in interfaith and multi-cultural work.
The Turtle Island Project in Michigan's Upper Peninsula promotes respect for the environment and Native Americans.
Turtle Island Project volunteer media advisor Greg Peterson reports
On Sept. 25, 2007 Rev. Hubbard spoke to college students, tribal educators and others at the annual United Conference at Northern Michigan University.
Topics included diversity and issues like the abuse and sexual mutilation of girls and women in Africa and racism against Native Americans
Rev. Hubbard said some Christians are too quick to dismiss Native American teachings.
Hubbard said whites can learn a lot from NA storytellers, myths and other Earth-based teachings.
Rev. Hubbard says Native Americans know that not everything can be described in words alone.
On August 11, 2007 - Dr. Hubbard spoke to religious scholars and authors in Ann Arbor - during the kick off of the Read the Spirit project.
Hubbard warned that some Christians think their beliefs are perfect to the exclusion of all others.
On August 28, 2007, Rev. Hubbard was invited to join a national Native American radio talk show conversation on racism by whites who live in towns bordering reservations - the same issue that Nimrod Nation highlighted as Watermeet, Michigan is on the edge of a reservation.
During Native America Calling, Rev. Hubbard told host Harlan McKosato that racism in northern Michigan is insidious.

The Turtle Island Project in northern Michigan was founded in August 2007 by two Midwest pastors who believe the future of mankind and world is at a crossroads.
Rev. Dr. Lynn Hubbard and Rev. Dr. George Cairns believe that Christians could learn a lot about nature and the environment by listening to Earth-based cultures like Native Americans, Celts, and other Indigenous peoples.
Rev. Hubbard is a Lutheran pastor, and Rev. Cairns is an ordained United Church of Christ minister.
Both have extensive backgrounds in interfaith and multicultural work.
The Turtle Island Project (TIP), based in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, promotes respect for the environment and Native Americans.
Two Midwest pastors created the TIP to foster a national discussion and debate on a wide variety of issues involving the future of the planet and mankind including encouraging Christians to learn how to appreciate nature like Earth-based religions such as American Indians, Celts and other Indigenous peoples.
Turtle Island Project volunteer media advisor Greg Peterson has more on the founders and their goals.

Once Were Warriors is New Zealand author Alan Duff's bestselling first novel, first published in 1990. It tells the story of an urban Māori family, the Hekes, and portrays the reality of domestic violence. It was the basis of a 1994 film of the same name, directed by Lee Tamahori and starring Rena Owen and Temuera Morrison. The novel was followed by two sequels, What Becomes of the Broken Hearted? in 1997 and Jake's Long Shadow in 2002.

Police are dismissing claims that a controversial law change has made criminals of parents who lightly smack their children, after a man was convicted of assault for smacking his son.
The man, 33, who has permanent name suppression to protect the child's identity, was sentenced in the Masterton District Court this week to nine months' supervision, including parenting and anger-management courses.
The case is believed to be one of the first to come before the courts since a law change in May removed a parent's legal defense of using "reasonable force" for disciplining children.
The prosecutor in the case, Sergeant Garry Wilson, said police evidence included photos of bruises on the boy's shoulder and buttocks.
"It irritates me to hear about people being criminalised about light smacking. These were heavy smacks that had a traumatic effect on the child. And the family members were sufficiently concerned to contact police.
"The family have said that it wasn't the first time," he added.Police are dismissing claims that a controversial law change has made criminals of... more
