PCW Extreme Political TV Recap
JQH Arena
Springfield, MO
Monday November 7th, 2011
Host: Johnny Suave
Right to the ring where Herman Cain (R-GA) stands with a mic. With ‘Pizza Delivery Guy’ Josh Jackson (R) by his side, Cain declares that he has survived the trial by innuendo and prevailed over the forces who want to derail his PCW CEO campaign.
Cain is about to leave when another woman comes out and she’s flanked by Gloria Allred. She introduces herself as someone who Cain tried to trade sexual favors for a new job at the restaurant association he headed. As Cain and Jackson watched, she implored Cain to ‘admit what you did’ and ‘make this right so PCW can move forward and focus on the real issues at hand.’
With the crowd still buzzing about the latest allegation against Herman Cain, the cameras go backstage. Magnum P.O.’d (R) w/valet Robyn Masters and a grinning Newt Gingrich (R-GA), pounds Pizza Delivery Guy Josh Jackson in the hallway with Herman Cain nowhere to be found. Magnum drags Jackson to the ring and we have our first match of the night.
Magnum P.O.’d defeats ‘Pizza Delivery Guy’ Josh Jackson @ 4:14
Big Union (Democrats ‘The Self Proclaimed Savior of the Middle Class’ Big Labor, James the Jeep Worker, The Longshoremen, and the California Teacher’s Union) are in Ohio in advance of the referendum on Senate Bill 5 tomorrow. Big Labor says tomorrow is day 1 in reestablishing Big Union as the ultimate political force in PCW. No one, not even those second tier pretenders led by Charlie Blackwell (Blackwell’s Les Miserables), will dispute that Big Union knows what’s best for middle class America- even if middle America disagrees.
PCW Tag Team Champions Jack and Joe Schmidt (R) w/Jim Schmidt and Ron Paul (R-TX) and the Extreme German Schnauzer Hans Gruber def. Corporate Might: Big Oil and Kirk Walstreit (R)- the Wall Street Market Analyst with the man crush on ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit @ 10:37
After a commercial break, it’s time for the main event.
Merchants of Death: Angel Scott and Angel Casey (R) vs. The Mercenaries: Dawn McGill and Svetlana Kovalevski (I)
In a hard hitting, no holds barred fight, Scott and Casey have McGill up and ready for the DSD (Death Spiral Drop). Women for Women: Code Pink and Emily List hit the ring and Pink fires off a Glitter Bomb that hits Scott in the eyes. Scott and Casey are then attacked by the PCW Women’s Tag Team Champions Kelly and Korey Korver (D) and now it’s four against two. McGill and Kovalevski then even the odds and the show ends with all eight women in the ring and PCW CEO Barack Obama (D-IL) coming to ringside.
Obama, once again going around the PCW Competition Committee, books a handicap match for Republicans Merchants of Death: Angel Scott and Angel Casey against Democrats Women for Women and the Korver Sisters for Thursday night.PCW Extreme Political TV Recap

PCW Politics is War on P-SPAN- Hour 2
Green’s Arena
Wakarusa, Kansas
Thursday October 20th, 2011
Host: Johnny Suave
Suave reviews hour one of PCW Politics is War on P-SPAN:
-Maroon 5′s Adam Levine comes out and complains about PCW using their music. PCW’s Extreme Equalizer Whiskey Tango Foxtrot comes out and complains about Levine’s actual existence. Kick to the groin. Grab to the throat. Chokeslam. Middle finger salute.
-Brooklyn Decker serves as ring announcer for the Dan Patrick/Colin Cowherd match. After the Mothership (ESPN) tries to use Corporate Might (R) to squash Patrick and his Danettes, Tim Tebow and Boise State QB Kellen Moore come to the rescue along with Adam Sandler‘s posse.
-Lindsay Lohan, doing her community service, pushes a bucket of water and a map to the ladies’ room.
-Independent Charlie Blackwell stands up to both Republican and Democratic partisans
-Callie Urban (D) shows ‘American Girl’ Sarah Mae Smith just what she’s going to do to her when they meet next- and uses Women for Women’s Code Pink and Emily List to get her point across.
BACKSTAGE
Lindsay Lohan exits the ladies’ room and bumps into PCW Women’s Champion Valora Salinas (I). Lohan tells her to ‘watch it, bitch’ and skulks off.
MATCH #3
Women For Women: Code Pink and Emily List (D) vs. The Pinups: Sabrina James and Alicia Rowe (I)
…Pink and List, already softened up by former PCW Women’s Champion Callie Urban, are no match for The Pinups.
WINNER: The Pinups @ 3:03
COMMERCIAL BREAK
An angry Nancy Pelosi comes out and calls Callie Urban (D) to the ring. She demands an explanation for what she did to Women for Women. Urban comes out with a microphone and tells Pelosi she made it explicitly clear that she did not want their assistance at PCW Lock and Load in her title defense against Valora Salinas.
From PCW Lock and Load 6:
Whip by Urban into the corner…here’s Code Pink and Emily List. Urban sees them and doesn’t look too happy. She whips Valora across the ring a second time. Then walks over to the edge and tells them to get lost. Valora roars out the corner towards Urban. Irish Whip by Valora…no, reversal by Urban and she whips Valora hard face first into the corner. Code Pink and Emily List climb up onto the apron. Urban comes in for a splash. GLITTER BOMB BY CODE PINK! But who got it? Valora is sitting on the floor. Urban staggers back and she can’t see. Valora swoops in behind her…TEQUILA SUNRISE! Arm trap single leg Boston crab! Urban’s trapped…SHE TAPS!
Pelosi tells her that she has every right to do what she sees fit to defend the Democrats and their titles. Callie’s response…”Keep them out of my way and I will bring back the PCW Women’s title.”
BACKSTAGE
John Kasich (R-OH) stands with Paul Ryan (R-WI) and his Raiders and Corporate Might: Big Oil and Kirk Walstreit- The Wall Street Market Analyst with the huge mancrush on ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit. Kasich addresses Independent Charlie Blackwell directly and calls on him to ‘do the right thing’ and support SB5.
“Can You Hear the People Sing?” from Les Miserables begins to play and Blackwell, his wife- Kenzie, and ‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido make their way over. Again, Kasich implores Blackwell to support his plan. But before he can answer, Big Labor (D), James the Jeep Worker (D), The California Teacher’s Union: ‘Foul Pole’ Andy Golatta and Malibu Dusty, and the Longshoremen attack Kasich and his supporters.
Blackwell and his charges lay back and watch as the Big Union group lay out Kasich and his group. Then Blackwell motions and out streams the Tea Party and they all attack the Big Union forces.
Blackwell gets on the mic and says ‘both sides are wrong.’ PCW is headed in the wrong direction and it’s high time someone came in to address the issues and bring people together. He announces the return of the…AMERICAN HEARTLAND PARTY! The crowd rises and roars as Blackwell and company clean out the ring.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Women’s champion Valora Salinas drags a bound and duct tape gagged Lindsay Lohan to the ring. She rips off the duct tape and unties. Then she demands that someone rings the bell and a referee runs out…
MATCH #4 PCW Women’s Champion Valora Salinas (I) vs. (Li-Lo) Lindsay Lohan
…Valora slaps Lohan twice and slaps on the Tazzmission. Lohan taps out and that’s that.
WINNER: Valora Salinas @ :15
Valora grabs Li-Lo by the hair and whips her through the middle ropes. She climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits an Aztec Moonsault on Lohan for good measure.
Suave: “Main event, next.”

Texas Jack (R) w/Rick Perry (R-TX)
vs.
‘Pizza Delivery Guy’ Josh Jackson (R) w/Herman Cain (R-GA)
vs.
‘The Right Reverend’ Randy Richardson (R) w/Newt Gingrich (R-GA)
Jackson finds himself under attack from the other three contestants in the ring.
…Jackson hits a jumping enziguri on Texas Jack out of nowhere. Springboard flying forearm follow up by Jackson. He tries for the Pizza Cutter. Texas Jack counters into a side-slam and nails a bulldog on Jackson. He covers Jackson and 1…2…3. Josh Jackson eliminated.
…down to Rev. Richardson and ‘American Citizen’ Kevin Scott. Rev. Richardson grabs a tool box from under the ring and tosses a wrench at Scott. Then he grabs a screwdriver and tries to gouge Scott’s face with it. Rev. Richardson lunges forward with the screwdriver but misses and stabs the turnbuckle instead.
Scott whips Richardson into the turnbuckle and the Right Reverend catches the wider end of the tool right between the eyes.
Suave: “HOLY CRAP!”
White Russian Legsweep by Scott and he covers…1…2…3.

Former 3-time PCW Champion Yamamoto Tanaka (D) gathers his stuff from a locker and stuffs it in a duffel bag.
BACKSTAGE
Radio Talk Host Dennis Miller (R-CA) endorses Herman Cain (R-GA)to be the next PCW CEO.
MATCH #6
PCW Tag Team Title Match
PCW Tag Team Champions The Schmidt Brothers: Jack and Joe (R) w/Ron Paul (R-TX) and Vince Vaughn vs The California Teacher’s Union: ‘Foul Pole’ Andy Golatta and Malibu Dusty (D) w/’The Self Proclaimed Savior of the Middle Class’ Big Labor (D) and the Longshoremen (D)
Suave says this should be an all-out war. The Schmidts, 3 time PCW Tag Team champions, took back the title from the CTU at PCW Loose Cannons Unleashed. Now, the Schmidts find themselves up against not only the CTU but the unions fighting back to keep their political power.
Suave adds the big question in this match is the big rumor that Charlie Blackwell, ‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido, and Blackwell’s Les Miserables will intervene in this match on the Schmidt’s behalf. If so, not only will there be plenty of action in the ring, they’ll be a lot of action outside the ring as well.

MATCH #7
PCW King of Extreme Title Match
PCW King of Extreme Champion Keith Olbermann (D) vs. The Queen of Political Extreme Ann Coulter (R)
Suave notes that Olbermann has held the title since July 18th when he won a battle royale on PCW Extreme Political TV. Now, he faces an extreme challenge from ‘The Queen of Political Extreme’ herself Ann Coulter. Her recent Facebook remarks about Troy Davis the night he was executed show that Coulter is in rare form. For his part, Olbermann continues to do the things he usually does, rip Sarah Palin, rip Republicans, but on a much smaller scale than before- on Current TV. Can Olbermann’s usual schtick hold up against ‘The Queen of Political Extreme?’

MATCH #8
PCW Women’s Title Match
PCW Women’s Champion Callie Urban (D) vs. PCW’s Queen of Extreme Valora Salinas (I)
Suave reminds everyone at the last Missouri Valley Wrestling pay per view show, May’s Arch Wrestling Madness, Urban and Salinas put on a five minute exhibition of pure adrenalinized combat. After getting cut in the initial seconds of the match, Valora threw everything she had at Urban in a frenzied attempt to end the match quick. Urban held on and as Valora weakened took control of the match.
Valora has won titles everywhere she’s gone from Wrestling Midwest to High Octane Wrestling, the WfWA to Missouri Valley Wrestling. Can she add the PCW Women’s title to that list? Urban also has an impressive resume of titles to her credit from no Brand Wrestling to All-star Championship Wrestling. This is shaping up to be a remake of the ages.
DEMOCRATIC WAR ROOM
Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is with Code Pink and Emily List.
DEMOCRATS WAR ROOM
Pelosi is furious. She reiterates to former PCW Champion Yamamoto Tanaka that he’d better make sure O’Beck Bahama wins the PCW Title.

As if things weren’t already volatile in the world of political extreme, John Kerry (D-MA) threw gasoline into a combustible mix last night at a PCW house show.
Talking with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, Kerry said this…
And I have to tell you, I say this to you politely. The media in America has a bigger responsibility than it’s exercising today. The media has got to begin to not give equal time or equal balance to an absolutely absurd notion just because somebody asserts it or simply because somebody says something which everybody knows is not factual.
It doesn’t deserve the same credit as a legitimate idea about what you do. And the problem is everything is put into this tit-for-tat equal battle and America is losing any sense of what’s real, of who’s accountable, of who is not accountable, of who’s real, who isn’t, who’s serious, who isn’t?
Average Joe (Tea Party) responded in kind…
Dictionary definition of “free speech”: Liberty to express opinions and ideas without hindrance, and especially without fear of punishment. John Kerry’s definition of “free speech.” Liberty to express opinions and ideas THAT AGREE WITH OUR POSITIONS. They will be ostracized from society, they will be labeled a threat to national security, they will be called “unpatriotic”, “un-American”, “a terrorist” and “a racist” and they will be vilified until they succumb to the ONLY ACCEPTABLE POLITICAL VIEW – that of John F. Kerry. By the way, does the F stand for fascist?
That set off another pier six free for all between the Democrats and the Tea Party. Again, Charlie Blackwell and his Les Miserables joined the outnumbered Tea Party to even up the odds.
This battle isn’t going away any time soon.
Daniel-San’s (I) big win at CWC’s Golden Dreams show last weekend headlined a very active and interesting week in the land of political extreme.
Dominating the week was the PCW Debt Crisis. Tempers flared Monday night on PCW Extreme Political TV…
Mike Doyle (D-PA) and several Democrats stomp out to the ring with Aide de Camp Joe Biden (D) and says the agreement sucks.
The Tea Party, of course, took exception to this. Average Joe…
Average Joe fires back and blames both mainline parties for this!
After a commercial break, ‘Hardball’ Chris Matthews, CBS’s Norah O’Donnell, the Angry Left Wing Bloggers (Markos Moutilsas, Paul Krugman, Eric Boehlert, and Arianna Huffington) are brawling with the Tea Party when…
‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’ from the musical Les Miserables begins to play and Independents Charlie Blackwell and “No Frills” Chris Escondido race out with Blackwell’s Les Miserables and clean house. Matthews, Markos, O’Donnell, Krugman, Boehlert, and Huffington are ejected from the ring.
*YOU’RE THE WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD!*
Then PCW King of Extreme Titleholder Keith Olbermann of Current TV and his FOK buddies Shannyn Moore, David Shuster, and Rachel Maddow attack Blackwell and Escondido.
So after all that, you’d think that everyone would have got all their frustrations and anger out of their system by the time PCW Politics Is War on P-SPAN aired Thursday night…
MSNBC’s Martin Brashir and psychologist and addiction expert Stanton Peele are in the ring psychoanalyzing the Tea Party. Peele compares the Tea Party to Norway’s mass murderer Anders Breivik and says they will lash out like Breivik did if they fail to attain that high.
Def Leppard’s ‘Tear It Down’ begins to play and the Extreme Equalizer, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, makes his way down to the ring. Bashir and Peele get grabbed by the neck. Then, kick to the stomach, twin chokeslams to the floor, and WTF flips both of them off.
Suave: “I love it when cultural bigots get theirs.”
Later in the show, Hollywood actor Matt Damon gets into the act…
The California Teachers Union: “Foul Pole” Andy Golatta (D), Malibu Dusty (D), and their pet governor on a leash Jerry Brown (D-CA), are in the ring with Damon. Damon declares incentives — like bonuses for good performance or ending tenure for bad ones — don’t work for teachers.
Average Joe and the Tea Party come out.
“First off, Matt. Here’s the difference between me and you. You support big teacher’s unions; I support teachers. And Mr. Damon, I encourage you, who as a rich celebrity is a corporation upon himself, to graciously offer to pay more of your income in taxes and set a good example for others like you to follow…”
Damon snaps and goes Jason Bourne on Average Joe. Golatta and Malibu Dusty attack NRA and McAvay. It looks bad for the Tea Party. Then CHUCK @#$#-ING NORRIS! comes out and decks Golatta with a roundhouse kick. Norris drops Malibu Dusty with a roundhouse kick. Norris turns to Damon, smiles, and blasts him with a thrust kick.
Later on, Mike Doyle (D-PA) tries to explain the remarks he made on PCW Extreme Political TV Monday night. Doyle says that he really didn’t call the Tea Party terrorists when he called them terrorists. Joe Biden, PCW CEO Barack Obama’s aide de camp, joins Doyle and assures everyone that Doyle is correct- they really weren’t calling the Tea Party terrorists when they called them terrorists.
Sarah Palin races down the aisle with a harpoon gun and Doyle and Biden take off running. Palin chases them around the ring several times before Doyle splits off and goes one way, Biden the other. Palin follows Biden and just as Biden reaches the back, she fires the harpoon gun at him…
“The Insanely Mad Hungarian” Alec Hrabosky (I) destroyed Jered Weaver of the LA Angels and Justin Verlander of the Detroit Tigers in a handicap match where Weaver and Verlander spent more time fighting each other instead of Hrabosky.
The speculation about Rick Perry (R-TX) jumping into the PCW CEO race continued to percolate and Texas Jack’s performance Thursday night did nothing to dispel that.
Texas Jack (R) w/Rick Perry (R-TX) vs. Jamie Walker (R) w/Jon Huntsman (R-UT)
Jack acts as if he totally wants to kill Walker and thus makes him suffer as much as possible. Perry even gets in on the fun when he stops Huntsman from throwing in the towel when Texas Jack puts Walker in the crossface. Then Jack starts spiking him in the head, and forces Walker to quit @ 7:52
Magnum PO’d (R) w/Robyn Masters defeated ‘Bureaucrat’ Andy Riley (D)
Finally, two former PCW Champions and a Hall of Famer return…
The crowd stands as PCW CEO Barack Obama appears. Behind Obama, Joe Biden peeks his head out and refuses to come out. Obama finally orders Biden out and the aide de camp reluctantly does. Palin’s harpoon sticks out of his ass.
Suave: “Well, there’s a visual I’ll never be able to get out of my mind.”
Obama gets on the mic and thanks everyone for the well wishes on his 50th birthday. He announces that he, in turn, has a surprise for all of us. A spotlight shines in the back and then the crowd explodes when former PCW Champion O’Beck Bahama makes his way to the ring.
Bahama thanks the crowd for the ovation and then wants to know what happened to the ‘change.’ Three years ago, Bahama says we were fighting for change and hope for more civility. He’s come back to PCW and things haven’t changed a whole lot. Then PCW Champion Yamamoto Tanaka, Harry Reid (D-NV) and Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), Kevin Scott (R), Triple R (D), ‘The One Man Hollywood A-List’ Stone Chism (D), and PCW Television Champion Daniel-San (I) add their two cents.
Then Bahama responds…
Out walks PCW Hall of Famer and former PCW Champion ‘Not Just Unbearable, Not Just Intolerable, He is JUSTIN SUFFERABLE! Singapore cane in hand, Sufferable points it at Triple R, Stone Chism, and finally, Yamamoto Tanaka.
Sufferable is back as O’Beck Bahama’s manager. If Bahama is back in form then Tanaka, Scott, Triple R, and Daniel-San had better watch their back.As if things weren’t already volatile in the world of political extreme, John... more

PCW Extreme Political TV
Wood County Fair
Bowling Green, Ohio
Monday August 1st, 2011
Host: Johnny Suave
Suave welcomes everyone to PCW on a night where “finally, an agreement was reached on the PCW deficit and debt.” He shocks the crowd by introducing Gabby Giffords (D-AZ) to the crowd- her first PCW appearance since her near fatal shooting several months ago.
The crowd gives Giffords a standing ovation.
Suave: “So the compromise has passed and an agreement to reduce spending by 2.4 trillion dollars.”
Mike Doyle (D-PA) and several Democrats stomp out to the ring with Aide de Camp Joe Biden (D) and takes the microphone from Suave. Doyle says the agreement sucks. “We’ve negotiated with terrorists. This small group of terrorists have made it impossible to spend any money.” Biden agrees that the Tea Party have acted like terrorists.
This brings out the Tea Party in the form of Average Joe, NRA, ‘Tin Cup’ Ray McAvay, and Tromeo and Dr. Molly Greenwald. Average Joe tells Doyle he’s full of crap. “Tea Partiers are ordinary people fed up with the extraordinary crap going on.” Average Joe tells Doyle that ordinary Americans don’t have the luxury of merely printing more money to pay off their debts. Dr. Greenwald says to call them terrorists because they’re finally standing up to the special interests and demanding change shows a deep seated hatred of average Americans.
Biden immediately tries to back up on his ‘terrorist’ remark.
Average Joe fires back. “Does this guy have a mirror in his home or office? As usual, politicians casts the blame everywhere other then where it belongs, on dem and repub elites. For the most part, Tea Party folks seem to be listening to the citizen. The same can’t be said for republicans and democrats presently in power. The political extortion he refers to is the art of lying, misdirection, distortion, and hackery, practiced by those who’ve been in office for what seems forever. Both mainline parties are at fault for this!”
COMMERCIAL
Back from break, ‘Hardball’ Chris Matthews, CBS’s Norah O’Donnell, the Angry Left Wing Bloggers (Markos Moutilsas, Paul Krugman, Eric Boehlert, and Arianna Huffington) have attacked the Tea Party and there’s brawling in the ring.
‘Do You Hear the People Sing?’ from the musical Les Miserables begins to play.
Do you hear the people sing?
Singing a song of angry men?
It is the music of a people
Who will not be slaves again!
When the beating of your heart
Echoes the beating of the drums
There is a life about to start

PCW Champion Yamamoto Tanaka (D) held off a stiff challenge from Independent Charlie Blackwell tonight to hold on the PCW Title at tonight’s Loose Cannons Unleashed 7 pay per view show.
Blackwell’s ‘Les Miserables’ couldn’t overcome Democrat Tanaka’s back up from Big Labor (D) and an angry California Teacher’s Union (Andy Golatta and Malibu Dusty), who were looking for payback after losing the PCW Tag Team title earlier in the night. Blackwell had Tanaka set for the Katahajime but Big Labor snuck in and tripped the challenger and the champion smashed him against the turnbuckle. Then Tanaka pulled Blackwell to the top and hit his Japanese Superdestroyer to put his exclamation point on the match.
As mentioned, The Schmidt Brothers: Jack and Joe accompanied by brother Jim Schmidt and Ron Paul (R) became three time PCW Tag Team Champions after defeating the California Teachers Union (Andy Golatta and Malibu Dusty w/pet Governor Jerry Brown) (D).
Jack and Joe Schmidt hit a double ‘Schmidt brick’ on Golatta late in the match and Paul tripped up Malibu Dusty before she could make the save. Earlier in the match, Big Labor and Triple R (D) ran out to assist the former champions but were run off by Charlie Blackwell and his ‘Les Miserables.’
Daniel-San (I) defeated ‘The One Man Hollywood A-List’ Stone Chism (D) to become the new PCW Television Champion. Chism was originally supposed to face Herman Cain’s protegee ‘Pizza Delivery Guy’ Josh Jackson (R) but the then PCW Tag Team Champions California Teacher’s Union (Andy Golatta and Malibu Dusty) along with Triple R and Big Labor (D) attacked Jackson backstage. Chism was getting ready to declare himself the winner when Daniel-San attacked him from behind and put him in the Cattle Mutilation. Daniel-San’s tag team partner ‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido (I) and Jackson cleared out the CTU and Triple R and Big Labor and Chism had no choice but to tap out.
#2 w/’The Vest’ Jim Tressel (I) vs. ‘The Insanely Mad Hungarian’ Alex Hrabosky (I)
-#2 used help from ‘The Vest’ Jim Tressel, Dennis Talbott, a Columbus businessman and a freelance sports photographer, several Columbus area auto dealers, and Edward Rife, a Columbus tattoo parlor owner to dominate early on. But Hrabosky’s scrappy style began to pay dividends later on the match and then Auburn’s Heisman Trophy winner, and fellow #2, Cam Newton ran down and clocked #2 from behind.
Hrabosky then hit his finisher and pulled off the surprise win @ 9:41.
‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido (AmHeartland) and Daniel-San (I) vs. Dann Armey and Brad Company (R)
-This match never got under way as the PCW Tag Team Champions California Teacher’s Union (Andy Golatta and Malibu Dusty w/pet Governor Jerry Brown) (D) along with Big Labor and Triple R (D) attacked both teams before the bell. Golatta went after his former tag team partner Daniel-San and hit a pair of ‘Foul Poles’ on him and Big Labor laid out Escondido, Armey, and Company with the Scab-buster.
‘The So-Called Savior of the Middle Class’ Big Labor and Triple R (D) vs. Big Oil and Kirk Walstreit (R)
-in a wild one, late in the match Big Oil rolls out of the ring, and gets nailed by Big Labor who drags him all around ringside. AFL-CIO leader Richard Trumka, who came down earlier in the match, verbally berates Big Oil. Big Oil gets away from Big Labor and drags Trumka over the announce table and chokes him with a microphone cable as the crowd goes wild. That gives Triple R a chance to nail Big Oil from behind with a steel chair three times. Walstreit grabs his briefcase and heads over, but Big Labor takes the briefcase from him and whaps him in the face with it. Big Labor rolls Big Oil back in the ring. Big Labor catches him with a kick to the gut and follows up with the Scab-buster for the three count @ 15:23PCW Champion Yamamoto Tanaka (D) held off a stiff challenge from Independent Charlie... more

When all you have is bombs, everything starts to look like a target. And so after years of providing Libya's dictator with the weapons he's been using against the people, all the international community -- France, Britain and the United States -- has to offer the people of Libya is more bombs, this time dropped from the sky rather than delivered in a box to Muammar Gaddafi's palace.
If the bitter lesson of Iraq and Afghanistan has taught us anything, though, it's that wars of liberation exact a deadly toll on those they purportedly liberate -- and that democracy doesn't come on the back of a Tomahawk missile.
President Barack Obama announced his latest peace-through-bombs initiative last week -- joining ongoing U.S. conflicts and proxy wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Somalia -- by declaring he could not "stand idly by when a tyrant tells his people that there will be no mercy, and... where innocent men and women face brutality and death at the hands of their own government."
Within 24 hours of the announcement, more than 110 U.S. Tomahawk cruise missiles were fired into Libya, including the capital Tripoli, reportedly killing dozens of innocent civilians -- as missiles, even the "smart" kind, are wont to do. According to the New York Times, allied warplanes with "brutal efficiency" bombed "tanks, missile launches and civilian cars, leaving a smoldering trail of wreckage that stretched for miles."
"[M]any of the tanks seemed to have been retreating," the paper reported. That's the reality of the no-fly zone and the mission creep that started the moment it was enacted: bombing civilians and massacring retreating troops. And like any other war, it's not pretty.
While much of the media presents an unquestioning, sanitized version of the war -- cable news hosts more focused on interviewing retired generals about America's fancy killing machines than the actual, bloody facts on the ground -- the truth is that wars, even liberal-minded "humanitarian" ones, entail destroying people and places. Though cloaked in altruism that would be more believable were we dealing with monasteries, not nation-states, the war in Libya is no different. And innocents pay the price.
If protecting civilians from evil dictators were the goal, though -- as opposed to, say, safeguarding natural resources and the investments of major oil companies -- there's an easier, safer way than aerial bombardment for the U.S. and its allies to consider: Simply stop arming and propping up evil dictators. After all, Libya's Muammar Gaddafi reaped the benefits from Western nations all too eager to cozy up to and rehabilitate the image of a dictator with oil, with those denouncing him today as a murderous tyrant just a matter of weeks ago selling him the very arms his regime has been using to suppress the rebellion against it.
In 2009 alone, European governments -- including Britain and France -- sold Libya more than $470 million worth of weapons, including fighter jets, guns and bombs. And before it started calling for regime change, the Obama administration was working to provide the Libyan dictator another $77 million in weapons, on top of the $17 million it provided in 2009 and the $46 million the Bush administration provided in 2008.
Meanwhile, for dictatorial regimes in Yemen, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, U.S. support continues to this day. On Saturday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton even gave the U.S. stamp of approval to the brutal crackdown on protesters in Bahrain, saying the country's authoritarian rulers "obviously" had the "sovereign right" to invite troops from Saudi Arabia to occupy their country and carry out human rights abuses, which included attacks on injured protesters as they lay in their hospital beds.
In Yemen, which has received more than $300 million in military aid from the U.S. over the last five years, the Obama administration continues to support corrupt thug and president-for-life Ali Abdullah Saleh, who recently ordered a massacre of more than 50 of his own citizens who dared protest his rule. And this support has allowed the U.S. can carry out its own massacres under the auspices of the war on terror, with one American bombing raid last year taking out 41 Yemeni civilians, including 14 women and 21 children, according to Amnesty International.
Rather than engage in cruise missile liberalism, Obama could save lives by immediately ending support for these brutal regimes. But for U.S. administrations, both Democratic and Republican, arms sales appear to trump liberation. The Stockholm International Peace Research Institute documented that Washington accounted for 54 percent of arms sales to Persian Gulf states between 2005 and 2009.
Last September, the Financial Times reported that the U.S. had struck deals to provide Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Oman with $123 billion worth of arms. The repressive monarchy of Saudi Arabia accounts for over half that figure, with it set to receive $67 billion worth of weapons, including 84 F-15 jets, 70 Apache gunships, 72 Black Hawk helicopters, 36 light helicopters and thousands of laser-guided smart bombs - the largest weapons deal in U.S. history.
Instead of forking over $150 million a day to the weapons industry to attack Libya or selling $67 billion in weapons to the Saudis so they can repress not just their own people, but those of Bahrain, we -- the ones being asked to forgo Social Security to help pay for empire -- should demand those who purport to represent us in Washington stop arming dictators in our name. That might drain some bucks from the merchants of death, but it would give nonviolent protesters throughout the Middle East a fighting chance to liberate themselves.
The U.S. government need not drop a single bomb in the Middle East to help liberate oppressed people. All it need do is stop selling bombs to their oppressors.By Medea Benjamin and Charles Davis

March 19 marks the eighth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq, a nation that had no weapons of mass destruction and was not involved in the 9/11 attacks. It was sold to the American public as a war to defend our nation and free the Iraqi people. U.S. Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz said our soldiers would be greeted as liberators and that Iraqi oil money would pay for the reconstruction. Vice President Dick Cheney said the military effort would take "weeks rather than months." And Defense Secretary Assistant Ken Adelman predicted that "liberating Iraq would be a cakewalk."
Eight years on, it's time to look back at that "cakewalk."
1. 4,400 U.S. Soldiers Lost for a Lie
More than 4,400 Americans have died as a result of the invasion and occupation of Iraq -- more than were killed on 9/11. Over 32,000 U.S. soldiers have been seriously wounded, many kept alive only thanks to the miracle of modern medicine.
But those numbers don't tell the half of it. Stanford University and Naval Postgraduate School researchers who examined the delayed onset of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) found that, by 2023, the rate of PTSD among Iraq war veterans could rise as high as 35 percent. And for the second year in row, more soldiers committed suicide in 2010 than died in combat, a tragic but predictable human reaction to being asked to kill -- and watch your friends be killed -- for a war based on lies.
2. Bankrupting Our Nation
In 2008, Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz and Harvard University's Linda Blimes put the cost of the Iraq War at roughly $3 trillion, or about 60 times what the Bush administration first said the invasion would cost. But while a staggering figure, Stiglitz and Blimes now say that their estimate "was, if anything, too low." In an update published last fall in the Washington Post, they note that the war not only drove up the federal debt, but helped drive the skyrocketing oil prices that contributed to the crashing of the global economy.
According to the National Priorities Project, the money the U.S. government spent destroying Iraq could have provided yearly salaries for 12.5 million teachers or paid the annual healthcare costs for 167 million Americans. When elected officials tell us our nation is bankrupt, we should tell them to bring our war dollars home.
3. Hundreds of Thousands of Iraqi Dead
The ones who have suffered the most from the Iraq "cakewalk," of course, are the Iraqis themselves. For an invasion sold as an act of liberation and "profound morality" by propagandists like Jeffrey Goldberg, the U.S. and its allies sure managed to kill a staggering number of those they were liberating. The group Iraq Body Count (IBC) has documented at least 99,900 violent civilian deaths as a direct result of the U.S.-led invasion. But that's an extremely conservative estimate based largely off deaths reported in Western media, an approach bound to undercount the massive death toll from the invasion. Indeed, as WikiLeaks revealed last October, the U.S. government covered up the violent killings of more than 15,000 Iraqi civilians -- killings that weren't reported by any Western paper -- or roughly 20 percent of IBC's official count at the time.
Unfortunately, the number of Iraqi souls liberated from their bodies is likely a lot higher than IBC's count. A 2006 study by researchers at John Hopkins University published in the Lancet medical journal found that in just over three years there had been 654,965 "excess Iraqi deaths as a consequence of the war," with Iraq's death rate more than doubling due to gunfire -- the leading cause of mortality -- and a lack of medicine and clean water. A January 2008 analysis by British polling firm Opinion Research Business, meanwhile, estimated "that over 1,000,000 Iraqi citizens have died as a result of the conflict which started in 2003."
4. Lights Still Out
Thirteen years of bombings and sanctions crippled the infrastructure and basic services of what was once a wealthy country. Then came the 2003 invasion, which destroyed electrical plants, sewage systems, water treatment facilities, hospitals and more. Eight years later, the living conditions of Iraqis are worse than under Saddam Hussein, with the country plagued by a continued lack of electricity, clean water, medical care and security. Iraqis wonder how it is, after the most powerful country in the world occupied it and ostensibly spent billions on reconstruction, they are still living in the dark.
5. Millions Flee Their Homes
According to the United Nations Refugee Agency, since 2003 "more than 4.7 million Iraqis have fled their homes, many in dire need of humanitarian care" -- hardly an endorsement of life in the "liberated" nation. Many Iraqis fled their homes to seek asylum in Iran, Jordan and Syria, while roughly 1.5 million fled to other parts of Iraq, the majority of which "have found no solutions to their plight," according to the UN. In the aftermath of ethnic cleansing, millions will never be able to return.
6. Women and Girls Forced into Prostitution
Women in Iraq have been particularly hit by the invasion and occupation. The Iraqi government estimates there are up to 3 million widows in Iraq today. Meanwhile, violence against women -- including honor killings, rape and kidnapping -- has soared , forcing many women to remain at home and limiting employment and educational opportunities, according to a new Freedom House report. "A deep feeling of injustice and powerlessness sometimes leads women to believe that the only escape is suicide," the report notes.
Many Iraqi women who fled to neighboring countries have found themselves unable to feed their children. Just to make ends meet, tens of thousands of them -- including girls 13 and under -- have been forced into lives of prostitution, particularly in Syria.
"From what I've seen, 70 percent to 80 percent of the girls working this business in Damascus today are Iraqis," one refugee told the New York Times. "If they go back to Iraq they'll be slaughtered, and this is the only work available."
7. Poisoning Iraqi Society
The U.S. military dropped thousands of bombs across Iraq laced with depleted uranium, the radioactive waste produced from manufacturing nuclear fuel. Valued by the military for its density and ability to ignite upon impact, depleted uranium bombs continue to kill years after they've been dropped. In Fallujah, which was bombarded more than anywhere else in Iraq, British researchers uncovered a massive increase in infant mortality and rates of cancer, with the latter exceeding "those reported by survivors of the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki," according to the Independent.
And it's not just Fallujah facing a cancer epidemic. Al Jazeera reports that in the central Iraq province of Babil, reported cancer cases rose from 500 in 2004 to 7,000 in 2008. And in Basrah, the last 15 years have seen the childhood leukemia rate more than double, according to a study published last year in the American Journal of Public Health.

Code Pink, notorious anti-war movement prone to juvenile acts of vandalism, is at it again. Only this time, they’re in Egypt.
Here at NRB, it’s part of the mission to demonstrate the connections between the Left and the Islamofascists they so clearly admire. Normally, it takes a little more effort than today’s glaring example. If you’ve never heard of Code Pink, let me enlighten you. Operating under an “anti-war womyn’s movement,” Code Pink has taken every opportunity available to betray their country, put our soldiers in danger, support terrorists and make asses out of themselves.
The Code Pink founding member who calls herself “Medea” Benjamin (I imagine her given name “Susan” was too white or oppressive or something,) wrote on Michael Moore’s website yesterday about her trip to Egypt to show solidarity with the Egyptian people and demand Mubarak step down.
