USA Green Jobs Now.Org Creates New Energy Sector Jobs and Green Jobs Now
I am sure we all have had a similar experience like this one, that was apparently the plight of Dave Carroll, a Canadian musician who says United Airlines baggage handlers smashed his favorite Taylor guitar as he changed planes at O'Hare. Anyone who's lost a bag or had their stuff damaged or lost by an airline knows the frustration -- you spend hours on the phone, often with a call center in India, and feel like you're getting nowhere.
Well in the past two years or so I have felt the same way about our political government and the slow response to the Green Energy/technology sectors,
USA Green Jobs Now.Org is my idea of trying to help people find employment in renewable and green technology companies of the future! We help clean up the environment, help control global warming, and create an entirely new sector of employment while we're at it. We look at eco-friendly trends of society today and apply the same logic and science to solving the every day needs of the country and planet. Sounds great right?
While researching online for information on how I, or anyone else, can live a simple affordable and greener life. I found that what was needed was a central website for good ideas, and information and ways to engage employers, candidates, and companies. What I found was very little more than a few companies openly promoting over priced products, advertisements, and sometimes job board postings.
USA Green jobs Now.Org is now up and running and I encourage all too please register and check the site out let’s get this US Economy moving once again in a positive direction Vote for Change and stay active in politics."United Breaks Guitars"

The federal government is poised to pump billions into clean energy projects that could create as many as 1.5 million new green jobs www.USAgreenjobsnow.org
A GREEN RECOVERY?
"It's inevitable, as the money really starts to flow into infrastructure programs, particularly green projects, there will be job growth here over the next year," says John Challenger, chief executive officer of Challenger, Gray & Christmas, a global outplacement company based in Chicago.
The Obama Administration is looking to health care and green jobs to help drive the job recovery. According to the Pew study, green jobs grew by 9.1% from 1998 to 2007, nearly two and a half times faster than the overall job market. And the growth will likely accelerate because of growing consumer demand, venture capital infusions, and government reforms, the report concluded.
In a July 15 column in The Seattle Times, Van Jones, special advisor for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality, identified some green projects getting stimulus funding, starting with a $5 billion investment to make America's homes more energy-efficient. Among the other projects: $44 million to extend light rail from Seattle's downtown to the University of Washington, energy-efficient renovations to four public housing high-rises in Minneapolis, and hundreds of millions of dollars of investments in clean energy generation and conservation at veterans hospitals.
INCENTIVES FOR GROWTH
William Bogart, economics professor and dean of academic affairs at York College of Pennsylvania, is skeptical of the plan. He doesn't doubt that it will create jobs, but he's concerned that it isn't an efficient way to spend money and that government's decisions on which companies get funding could be influenced by politics, especially since the definition of a "green job" is subjectiveNow Hiring: Green-Collar Workers

You don’t have to live in Walden to understand that there’s a connection between the environment, our economy, and the way we live. My family and I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support that we have received over the past week or so. I resigned from the White House on September 6, and I have remained silent since then - in keeping with my promise not to be a distraction during a key moment in the Obama Presidency.
Over the past several days, however, many people have been asking how they can help and what they can do.
The main thing is this: please do everything you can to support both President Obama and the green jobs movement. Winning real change is ultimately the best response to these kinds of smear campaigns.
I ask everyone to:
1. Support President Obama's efforts to fix our nation's health care, energy and education systems. His victory last fall did not represent the "finish line" in the fight to renew America; his election was just the "starting line." This autumn, it is time to make history again - with victories on health care and clean energy.
2. Sign up to support groups that are working for green jobs. As others seek to vilify or marginalize the movement for a clean energy economy, the leading groups deserve increased support. This is the year to ensure that the clean energy transformation creates good job opportunities for everyone in America.
3. Spread the green jobs gospel. The ideas and ideals of the green jobs movement are grounded in fundamental American values - innovation, entrepreneurship and equal opportunity. My true thoughts can be found in my book: The Green Collar Economy. Check it out from the library - or order a copy and share it with a friend. See for yourself why clean energy and green jobs are good for our country.
4. Stay connected and speak up for me via your favorite blogs (e.g., Huffington Post, Grist, Jack & Jill, etc.), on message boards and all of your favorite social networking platforms (Twitter, Facebook, etc.). Supporters have set up a couple of them, to help you stay engaged, including: I Stand With Van Jones and I Love Van Jones.
In due course, I will be offering my perspective on what has happened - including correcting the record about false charges. In the meantime, I must get my family affairs in order and sort through numerous offers and options.
I want to be clear that I have nothing but love and admiration for President Obama and the entire Administration. White House staffers are there to serve and support the President, not the other way around. At this critical moment in history, I could not in good conscience ask my colleagues to expend precious time and energy defending or explaining my past. The White House needs all its hands on deck, fighting for the future.
Of course, some supporters actually think I will be more effective on the "outside." Maybe so. But those ideas always remind me of that old canard about Winston Churchill. After he lost a hard-fought election, a friend told him: "Winston, this really is just a blessing in disguise." Churchill quipped: "Damned good disguise." I can certainly relate to that sentiment right now. :)
Nonetheless, we must keep moving forward. Let's continue our work to make an America as good as its promise. These are historic times. And we have a lot more history to make.
Sincerely,
Van JonesDear Friends:

USA Green Media Now was founded with the mission of “empowering sustainable choices,” the Green Media now blog network reaches a broad range of the green market, including a major segment not served by other green websites namely employers, job seekers and the ecopreneurist.
The greatest potential for change and for developing new markets lies in appealing to the newcomers to the green lifestyle, those in what is sometimes called the “light green” or even “conscious, but cautious” consumer segment. These are people who have discovered the benefits of living a more eco-friendly lifestyle but who also need guidance, support, and encouragement to incorporate green practices and products into their lifestyles.

Fresh off getting kicked to the curb on the sly, Van Jones, may be getting a new position. Obama's former Green job's advisor found himself under a barrage of political attacks after a video leaked of him stating the obvious and saying Republicans are “assholes” and Bush is a “crack head.”
Following the leaks, he found himself silenced saying what millions of people were thinking, and had to formally “resign.” Now he's getting his past due and will reportedly be the Green Party's candidate for President in the 2012 election. The Green Party is sticking up for the brother and denouncing the Republican party for attacking Black politicians saying,
“The targets tend to be Black - consistent with Republican fury over the election of Barack Obama to the White House.”
As t the Green Party is jumping to the aid of this brother, and tightening him up to lead their party, Green Party co-chair, Mike Feinstein sang praises to the advocate for environmentally friendly jobs, saying:
“Like the Greens, Van Jones sees green jobs and a healthy environment as interconnected pillars of a sustainable and just economy. We encourage Van to bring that agenda into the electoral arena as a Green Party member, leader and possible future candidate, either nationally, statewide in California, or locally in Oakland, his home.”
If Jones does get the nomination he can shut the mouths of people like everyone's favorite racist Fox News commentator, Glen Beck. Beck spearheaded the smear campaign against Jones digging up the old videos and also Jones' signature on a petition asking for further investigation of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. The petition reportedly questioned the government's role in the event, again another opinion reflective of many people's sentiments. Good for Jones, the brother deserves a break for all the political hell he went through for practicing free speech.Fresh off getting kicked to the curb on the sly, Van Jones, may be getting a new... more

Having taken Van Jones down, the job destroyers and climate destroyers of the right wing most certainly smell blood (see Beck: “Almost everyone who does believe in global warming is a socialist”).
Now Phil Kerpen, policy director for Americans for Prosperity, has laid out the right-wing strategy for how “the Van Jones affair could be an important turning point in the Obama administration,” in a piece on FOXNews.com. AFP is “pro-tobacco industry” group that “worked around the U.S. in recent years to defeat” smokefree workplace laws (as SourceWatch notes) — and is now fighting for the big corporate polluters to block climate and clean energy action. Brad Johnson at WonkRoom has documented how Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is a front group for billionaire polluters, pushing the most inane pro-pollution ads you’ll ever see (here).
But what Fox News and AFP would like to achieve is no joke:
The Van Jones affair is, as President Obama likes to say, a “teachable moment,” and we need to put not just him but the whole corrupt “green jobs” concept outside the bounds of the political mainstream.
Conservatives hate the notion of green clean energy jobs because their entire anti-science, anti-climate, anti-environment message is built around the (false) notion of a trade-off between reducing pollution and jobs (see “Mything in action....
