Southern hip-hop artist James Jr. will release his debut album “Intent 2 Distribute” on Tuesday, August 25th.
With nineteen tracks, “Intent 2 Distribute” features a variety of rap styles and James Jr.’s self-produced beats.
Born in Tacoma, Washington and raised in some of the most dangerous cities in the United States, 25-year old James Jr. writes and raps about true-life events and personal experiences.
“I’ve buried my cousin, visited my mom in prison, seen bounty hunters chase my brothers out the back door,” said James Jr. “I’ve definitely had enough life experience to fulfill an album. I don’t need nobody else’s stories.”
The first single from the album, “Bluetooth,” released in late July via digital channels, featuring both the album and clean versions.
“Intent 2 Distribute” is the second major release from Spin Move Records, an independent record label founded in 2005.
