Wherein it is explained how the value of the dollar has shrunk like a snowball in the tropics.
Excerpt:
"Imagine being sent forward in time from 1967 to 2007. Instead of gas costing 25 cents a gallon, it's $2.50. A decent home, intead of costing $15,000, costs $250,000 or more. Imagine your shock that the average American family owes $9000 on their credit cards. Imagine entering a society where less than 2% of the cars on the road are owned by those that drive them, and less than 1% of the homes are owned by the people who live in them. Welcome to the debt based slave state of America in 2007. It is all symbolic of how the globalists have America right where they want it, and are eager to finish it off. As the dollar continues losing strength, what will this mean to the world?"

The pound is riding high - you get more US dollars now than at any time since 1981. If you're dealing in millions you get nearly $2.11 for £1 - even ordinary mortals can get $2.02 at Travelex, making the dollar worth 49p.
Currency experts blame a collapse in confidence in the US economy, caused by its addiction to Chinese imports paid for with sub-prime loans that borrowers can't or won't repay. The situation is now so bad that Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen reportedly insists on being paid in euros, not dollars.

This is worth a morning read every day. Not exactly an up-beat start of the day but look around you. George does manage to write with a sense of humor about it all.
George at http://www.independencejournal.com writes this:
"The Lines in the Sand
No point waking up too fast, being as it's Monday and all. So let's just start with a peek at what I call the 'line in the sand' problem for the Federal Reserve. It's based on the idea that there's a danger zone following new all time highs that runs from about 30-60 days after the all-time high is set. Get through that period, and everything can work out peachy. Blow it here, and you get a shot at a 1929 or 1987 type result: (see chart)"
