Hey VCAM-ers,
I am very excited for this VCAM assignment for two reasons:
1) It will be fun. Wachovia's Way2Save program wants you to show us something worth saving for.
and...
2) It is our first VCAM assignment where we are offering $2500 instead of $1000 if your ad is chosen to air on TV.

Also, remember that you are able to use the APM music library for VCAMs, if you need some beats.

EDIT #2: Alot of VCAM producers are asking why all of the entries have been grayed out. I just want to assure everyone that we are currently screening the submissions before we can post them online. They should be unlocking shortly, so thank you so much for your patience!
EDIT #3 (6/16/08): We've extended the deadline to June 25th to give everyone extra time to cross their t's and dot their i's. Hurrah!
EDIT #4 (6/17/08): In the screening process, we are very particular about how you address the product features of the Way2Save program. So if you do talk about the features, make sure you are stating that it the $1 is being transferred from your Wachovia checking account to your Way2Save high interest savings account.
EDIT #5 (6/20/08): Also, if you mention "check card" anywhere in your ad, please specify that it is a "Wachovia Visa Check Card". Please contact me with any questions!

The cost of living is getting higher, the dollar is sinking, and it's tax season... what is one to do?
Here's one idea: Make a VCAM.
Starting with our next assignment, we are upping the stakes, so if your VCAM is chosen to air on Current TV, you will be paid $2,500 instead of $1,000.
And as always, if the sponsor decides to air your VCAM elsewhere, you can earn up to $60,000... depending on where it airs.
Neat, huh?

We've been getting alot of emails asking about the next VCAM assignment. When is it, for what company, etc?
Well, we're still finalizing the details, but in the next few weeks, we'll be launching a VCAM assignment for Wachovia's Way2Save program.
If you want to start brainstorming, you can learn about the product here:

We'll want you to show something worth saving for and how Way2Save can help you get there. For example, are you sporting rusty tire rims and looking for an upgrade? Looking to update your wardrobe (in case you were wondering... hammer pants are definitely out of style)?
Remember, this will be the first VCAM where you will earn $2500 instead of $1000 if your ad is chosen for air on Current!

Hi Everyone,
The T-Mobile Sidekick VCAM deadline is March 10th! If you have not started, there is still PLENTY of time left. Check out your competition and get producing.
Here are some frequently asked questions:
Q: How many VCAMs do you pick per assignment?
A: Usually four
Q: Why can't I view my submitted VCAM? Why does it say, "Not Yet"?
A: We have to screen all VCAMs before they post online. This may take a few days, so keep checking back.
Q: I cannot see the creative brief! What gives?
A: Make sure you're on the US site and not the UK site. Check the upper right hand corner of the page. If you don't see the Stars and Stripes, roll your mouse over it and click "United States." Note: If you live in the UK, you are more than welcome to participate!
Q: What did the fish say when it hit the concrete wall?
A: Dam.

EDIT (1/28/08): If you are having problems seeing the brief, please make sure that you're on the US version of Current.com and not the UK & Ireland version. If you are unsure, look at the flag icon at the upper right hand corner. If you don't see the stars and stripes, roll your mouse over the UK/Ireland flags and choose "US."
I hope this does not discourage producers in the UK and Ireland from participating in the VCAM program. We welcome all producers (except those who are living in the US with a student visa or those who are not legally able to work in the States... if that's the case, contact me).
