The indie film is like the blood that courses through the veins of the horror genre. Every big time horror personality started making little indie flicks (some of which have become classics) so that's why we pay them so much attention around these parts. You never know where the next Romero or Carpenter will come from. That being said one flick we've been keeping an eye is is The Night Shift and now that the movie has wrapped -- it's poster time!
The Night Shift is a supernatural-adventure-comedy about Rue Morgan, the undead night watchman at Pinewood Oaks Cemetery. Rue, along with his buddy Herb, a limbless corpse, spends his nights trying to keep the cemetery’s cantankerous residents in, and his days dreaming of a date with hard-nosed day-shifter, Claire. It’s an okay afterlife until a scourge of supernatural occurrences leaves Rue not only watching the cemetery, but also watching his back!

Is this real or a idea for future poster advertising? It could be real becuase there was a similar clever advert in London, where by donating money the girl in the poster video would cheer up (it was for the charity group NSPCC). It's been a long time coming, but Scream 4 is finally getting closer, and to prove it, here's a teaser poster for the film. This won't give away any plot points, or indeed anything. But here's a little peek at our old friend Ghostface as he steps up to remind Jigsaw and the new boys how it's done.
Entertainment Weekly also scooped a few words with Wes Craven, who said of the film, "I’ve never felt like these are sequels. This is a film about the progress of, at this point, three core characters, and how all of these events have changed their lives." The story this time will see Sidney (Neve Campbell) having spent ten years Ghostface-free and rebuilding her life, even writing a successful novel, while in the world around her the films based on her experiences, Stab, keep getting sequel-ified. And then, of course, Ghostface returns.
The film is due out on April 15, 2011, at least in the US, and should hopefully hit these shores around the same time. So whadya think? Excited to see the man in the mask again?

Pioneering Czechoslovakian artist Alphonse Mucha (1860 – 1939) created a sumptuous Art Nouveau style filled with soft colors, curving lines and ethereal women. Mucha was inspired to paint by the artwork he saw in churches. A starving artist in Paris, Mucha skyrocketed to fame after he created a life size poster for Sarah Bernhardt’s play, “Gismonda.” The poster, which differed from current artistic trends, made him a household name and earned him a six-year contract from Bernhardt. A teacher was shocked to be issued with a £75 graffiti fine after putting up missing posters for her lost cat Fluffy.
Whilst she was delighted that the posters helped her to relocate her prized persian pussy, she was perhaps understandably miffed to be fined by her local council for putting up the posters under Section 43 of the Anti-social Behaviour Act.
"In a world where there is less and less community spirit, to impose a law and fine me for something like this is horrible," she said.

A father has been forced to apologise for his "deceitful" behaviour after being named, shamed and pictured in a citywide poster campaign by two of the women he was two-timing.
Paul Marshall, 40, apologised "to all the women I may have hurt over the years" after the pair discovered his cheating and attached posters describing him as a "cold, heartless letch" to 150 lamp posts across Southampton.
The women discovered each other following a facebook comment.
Mr Marshall denies that a third woman was involved at the same time.
Let that be a warning to any ladies out there.

Can you figure out all 28 classic rockers in this artwork? Musicians from the Golden Age of Rock whose careers peaks between the years 1964-76. It comes as both an art print or a tshirt for guys and girls. Worth noting is that the print has details in the original artwork that are simply not reproducible on a tshirt.
