Police in Russia have arrested three homeless men suspected of killing a man, eating part of the body and selling other parts to a kebab shop.
The men were held in the city of Perm, some 1,400km (870 miles) east of Moscow, local investigators said.
Their statement said that the suspects had targeted the 25-year-old victim out of "personal hostility".
It was not clear when the incident occurred. The men - who have not been named - have been charged with murder.
The investigators said on Friday that the body of the man had been found in a forested area near a public transport stop in Perm.
They said the three men attacked their victim with knives and a hammer.
"After carrying out the attack, the corpse was dismembered. Part of it was eaten and part was also sold to a kebab and pie kiosk," their statement said.
It is not yet clear if any customers have been served the body meat.

BERLIN (Reuters) – German police are investigating a chilli sauce to determine whether it was so spicy that it was capable of causing grievous bodily harm when used in an attack.
Police took a sample of the sauce from a kebab stand in Bremen's central train station after a kebab salesman threw it into the eyes of a customer during a fight over napkins.
"Legally, the question of whether the spiciness of the kebab sauce constituted 'normal' or grievous bodily harm must be addressed," local police in the northern city said on Friday.
Officers broke up a scuffle that kicked off after a 23-year-old wiped his kebab-soiled hands on the stand because the salesman refused to give him a paper napkin. The seller responded by flinging a ladle of sauce in the man's face.
The victim's eyes became bloodshot and police are investigating why the napkin dispute broke out, a spokesman said. Both men could end up facing charges, he added.

Our lovely home secretary recently made comments about the safety of our streets which were soon confirmed as "coming out wrong". Asked if she would feel safe walking the streets of Hackney alone after dark she said "Well, I just don't think that's a thing that people do, is it, really?"
I'm fairly confident that people do walk round the streets of Hackney Mrs Smith....since people live there and have to get home. Sarah Teather, a Lib Dem commented, "I think she is out of touch. I think she has no idea", and I think she's right.
In a fit of backtracking Jacqui Smith's "people" came up with the brilliant plan to brag over her ability to buy a kebab in Peckham. Whether or not she chose to have chilli sauce is not known. The farce continues...Our lovely home secretary recently made comments about the safety of our streets which... more

I took this picture down stairs of my house in Wuhan China, where I have been living for the last two years teaching English. The picture shows a kebab stand with a sign that has Osama Bin Laden on it and it reads "Arabic Barbecue."
I asked the owner why he used his picture and he said because Bin Laden is a famous Arab and because in the picture Bin Laden is gesturing a one and each kebab stick that he sells is one Chinese Yuan.
I thought this was interesting because it, in an extreme way, symbolized how closed off, and perhaps oblivious, Chinese society still is from the outside world.I took this picture down stairs of my house in Wuhan China, where I have been living... more

A Swedish man has been arrested for trying to smuggle 1,444 pounds of kebab meat into Norway. The man reinforced the car's suspension, so that it wouldn't look weighed down, to evade suspicion.
Because Norway is not a part of the European Union, it is illegal to carry more than 22 pounds of meat across its border.
